A final announcement is that the Mutual Defense Pact between Norden Verein and Golden Sabres is hereby cancelled in full, having honored the 48 hours notification period in the process of doing so. We were glad to end the treaty on good terms and wish the Golden Sabres the best of luck for the future.

No, its not the same at all. Filling wars slots in situations such as these is common.

Please don't "fix" this. Its just another way to dumb down the game. If there is no advantage given to players who actually try things out and learn the game it just becomes boring.
