Why have we always been at odds(well a large part of the time anyhow) in game, and how do you feel about me OOC, and gotta throw in the 'would you vouch for me in TOP' line as my curiosity is peaked regarding the answer.

Not quite. I have been nothing but factual this entire war. The truth is that people can come to different conclusions using the same set of facts. You come to the Puppets situation with a certain point of view, that Umbrella is wrong and Umbrella must have masterminded it, so with those blinders on you view the facts of puppets coming out, irc talks, and then umbrella hitting him as a conspiracy against AI. I take that same incident with my own opinions on the matter since I come from the other side and come to a completely different conclusion, that Puppets acted alone.
As for why DH went to IRON, it was thought IRON was the most approachable. AI has been nothing but emo towards us, saying one thing but wanting to take a shot at us. Argent had flat out told us where they stood months prior so it made no sense in diplo blitzing them. If increased relations with IRON happened that could have opened the door for increased talks with DR as a whole, but it was thought that AI and Argent were too set in their views to be worth any effort in trying to sway their opinion from anti DH at that time.
It might have worked had DR not been wanting a piece of DH the entire time diplomacy was happening with IRON. Smiling to our face while planning our rolling and working with others to form a coalition, trying to peel allies from us like your attempts with C&G and then whining about it when we tried to calm IRON down. Nothing is inherintly wrong or bad with any of that, except that you haven't owned up to what you did, you keep shifting the blame to us. You need to take responsibility for your own actions, and come clean. Trying to criticize us when you have tried to do the same exact thing ... well theres a word for that.
I know a lot of people here, and know people that I like on both sides. However we have usually been honest in what we do, whereas you are trying to twist this war into something it never was. I get tired of the amount of spin coming from AI and IRON this war. I get that you have to tell your members something to keep them supporting the war, but you should be able to tell them the truth and they should be able to support it without the need for the spin.
Once again you are spinning the facts. Lets get down to the nitty gritty here, you all have said you hit puppets because of BIBO and that it meant he was to receive 6 umbrellan nukes for 'leaving' and that you all didnt intentionally slot fill and not stagger him in order for him to get into PM to re-arm and rehit AI. Well im doing the math here and 3 umbrellans hitting puppets within minutes of each other makes no sense as if it was truly for BIBO and to give him 6 nukes on the way out, then it would have only needed 1 Umbrella attacker to do that. 1 not 3, 1. That umbrellan could have given puppets his 6 nukes needed during one round of war by themselves and if AI did or did not pick up the remaining slots or stagger him then your right it would have totally been on us and our fault, but nope you sent 3, all at the same time, when only 1 nuke a day can be received by the nation getting nuked, so the other 2 in his slots were NOT needed at ALL in order for your internal BIBO policy to have been fulfilled.
So when you cut the BS, maybe everyone else will but since you cannot even admit to the above and take responsibility for it, you are a hypocrite to point any fingers any other direction.
Now pls spin your story some more about how you all are the victims here for just trying to follow your policy of delivering 6 nukes to your ex-compatriot while sending in 3 nations that could do no more then just give 1 nuke a day during that round of war to fulfill your 'policy' and weren't trying to provoke AI or having laughs at what you all considered a big joke.

As recently as the Grudge War, Umbrella itself (as I was a member) said "Hey, why don't we get closer to Valhalla? I can't remember why we even dislike those guys"
And then you had to go and remind them.sorry, no. We had nothing but cordial talks with your Diplomats and I personally made several overtures as to what it would take to get a treaty between our two alliances and was never answered with anything concrete, not even "hey mebbe come over to our forums and meet the rest of membership etc etc" just vague platitudes and innuendo. which directly points to my observation made above.
@Caliph-Simple really, all of DR started talking to CnG in various places. All of DH just went to IRON, one piece of DR(IRON), very big difference, but im sure you can spin it otherwise as facts mean nothing to you and havent since well before this war started obviously. ;)

You're painting DH as hostile, when we have had no reason to be. We have not been hostile towards DR when we were not provoked. We may not have liked you, but we did make attempts, all of which were ruined by your alliance and allies.
Could it be that since you didnt like us, in your own words btw, that it clearly showed in any "attempts" to get 'friendly' with DR or is it more likely that DR could clearly see your designs to try and pull IRON out of what is clearly their group of friends and when said friends all compared notes all laughed at your contempt and enmity that showed thru your 'friendly' overtures and designs?
You are a fool if you think what any of DH tried diplomatically was to be actually friendly and not total strategic shens that all saw as hilarious in its insincerity.
Now pls continue to tell the world how DH was not a threat to DR when the whole time you have done nothing but admit Umbrella has wanted this war for quite some time. Its a good laugh, and lord knows we can all use more laughs in this war.

I feel obligated to inform all of those insulting, defaming, or criticizing us that you're wasting your time. We don't care what you have to say about what we choose to do. There are certainly alliances out there that might care under similar circumstances, but we aren't one of them. We play Cybernations in the matter that we find most fulfilling, and we're enjoying ourselves. All of the ranting and raving in the world can't change that fact, nor can it make us care a whit about your opinion unless you're somebody that we respect. That scenario hasn't yet occurred in this thread, and it is not likely to.
Be aware.
Tis funny that all you post is how much you dont care, yet you take the time posting all over the place saying you dont care, so imo thou protest to much and you are only trying to convince yourself, as we really dont care that you care or do not care and if you truly did not care apathy would be your state, and that is certainly not what your actions show or portray.

If you are so mad about not being included in the peace talks that your allies initated then perhaps you should turn your bumbling attention onto them.
On a side note, you can't beat this arragonce out of us. It doesn't matter how much national strength or technology one has in their pocession to know that we were born better than you. You know this which is why you sprout such nonsense and act like a child frothing at the mouth everytime you mention our name. By all means continue to throw your little fits, stomp your feet and cuss like a child who just discovered foul language.

Actually, you might want to check out my initial posts. They are mostly timetables of events, where I said: "TORN requested help" so "your coalition must need help" and "Brehon said he didn't want his coalition allies alone at the peace table" so "the NPO wants a seat at the peace table".
We then got progressively attacked by people on your side of the aisle who didn't want to admit that they either needed help OR that they had made a mistake by not bringing an AI representant to the peace talks. It culminated in chefjoe's delirious rants, painting us as mind controllers.
My rants were neither 'delusional' nor off the mark, TOP tried to pull more of its bs by trying to exit an entire front without including the main alliance they DoWd on that same front. TOP knows how politics in this game go and knew that not having an AI rep present might allow them to bs their way into getting our allies into exiting the war without and leave us hanging. Welp sorry TOP our allies saw what you were upto and told you to fuck off, which shows they are far more intelligent and committed then you had hoped, and further shows our trust in said allies was well founded and deserved. Sooo sorry it didnt work out as you had planned in your little end around and that our friends and allies didnt march to your tune. Deal with it and quit complaining and do more clickety clickety as the war shall go on until the arrogance you try and project gets beaten out of you, which would make everyone on your front happy and satisfied, well except for you maybe, but TOP's feelings arent really cared about ATM as you can see.

Are you literally unable of the most basic thought process? We already established a million times that the parties that approached us about peace were told to invite everyone who needed to be in. Don't blame us for the fact your allies didn't see the need to involve you.
I/we know exactly whom 'they' were, AND why 'they' approached you. It also doesnt surprise me Ted from TORN saw immediately what was going on and put a stop to proceedings thru his actions of basically telling you to shove it up your collective ass. DR stands together, always has, always will and be their for our allies in their times of need also. Brehon called it right on the money to you all and the simple fact that you didnt question why certain parties werent around to 'discuss' your leaving and peace negotiations just proves even more that you were trying something shady. ie:Trying to Sideline multiple alliances(Including DR bloc mates) to abandon their own Bloc partners answers readily enough what you were 'trying' to do and why you got told to piss off(your losing and you still have the hubris to try and dictate your own terms which were to include people from our side having to exit the war and not redeploy elsewhere, when they have zero reason to exit said coalition war and you have every reason to want to exit). If TOP wants to surrender its on YOU to get all parties involved in peace talks. That includes the ones whom DoW'd you AND the ones YOU DoW'd that started the chain of destruction upon you. Instead TOP thought they saw a weak link and tried to exploit it(typical for TOP and your Modus Operendi), sadly for you some people realized what you were upto and why you were told no and then received lulz in return .
Now please continue on whining and crying about how evil NPO is and how 'fractionated' the coalition is when the reality is far from that. You reap what you sow, and you have planted many acres that need attending to as you seem to have learned nothing from most of CN disliking you and your buddies to the extent that even alliances whom arent normally best of friends stand together against you. TBH its laughable that you felt you could get your way and get DR allies to abandon the field without AI having a say in your exit(which had you approached us professionally may have gotten you the exit you so want).

The bolded part is most likely why talks of peace on your front arent getting any traction. You can try and 'Dis' us by not trying to include us(you know the people you actually DoW'd) in peace talks, which is just petty, so why would you expect anything less then a petty answer in return? Hell if we were to have been invited to the peace talks then maybe TOP would be at peace today. We trust our allies to do whats best for themselves and us as allies but to just let the insult slide aint gonna happen. Umbrella tried to have that happen before the start of this war and see where its now gotten you, them, us etc. Your 'side' is getting dogpiled exactly because of that kind of arrogant and dismissive behavior, but you obviously have not learned a thing as you go and start peace talks without the main alliance you DoWd being involved for w/e petty BS you have crawling around in your heads(I wouldve said brains but you seem to lack any semblance of human thought by thinking you can flip the bird to us and thinking it was kosher. Especially when that is exactly what started this whole war in the first place, arrogance and thoughts of impunity to your actions).
When you really want to talk peace, id advise letting all involved parties get an invite to the talks and not just expect 'things' to be passed along to be rubber stamped OK. Just a little FYI regarding something you obviously are having lots of trouble with, its called courtesy. Try it out sometime and maybe you will find it will get you much farther then arrogance and condescension.

This war keeps getting better and better while allowing people to see the true faces of certain people and alliances. NPO said 'OK np' when an ally asked them for some extra coverage....TOP's true face is finally coming out for the world to see, and it aint pretty and has more whine in it then Bevmo. Though ive known that to be true for years its nice to see that others are now seeing it as well.
Realpolitiks finally fucked you TOP, and I for one couldnt be any happier as I actually have more respect for MK then ive ever had for the years of famous fence sitting BS of TOP in order to fulfill w/e internal selfish goals they have at the time.
No one is worse then TOP in whining when they dont get their way, NO ONE. If I had a nickel for every time TOP bullshitted people or lead them on id be richer then warren buffet.
TOP deserves every bit of assfucking that gets brought to their door and tbqh I further wish I had Trusted Grub several years ago and helped rid Planet Bob of the arrogant and selfish whiners in TOP then. Sadly hindsight is 20/20 but luckily that error is now being righted with every nuke and war on a TOP member that comes out of this glorious shebang we got going here called a war.
tl;dr Grub was right yrs ago and I apologize to him for not believing in his assessment of TOP back then and helping stamp them out.
PPS-Now pls go back to your whining TOP, as I for one find every bit of it a victory in and of itself along with bolstering my personal amusement factor by a factor uncountable.

What a load of anti DH drivel. NPO had their part, AI had their part, IRON had their part. This war wasn't caused by Umbrella's actions, not 100%, but by DR's decision to roll DH. Our actions caused them to think one way about DH, our actions made their coalition busy easy, but trying to claim that everything was our fault is a load of crap.
That said, it is appreciated you're not lying and spinning on the nature of this war. AI and IRON could take lessons from you in that regard.
Sure we will take a few courses in those lessons when Umbrella decides to remove the self made Ivory tower out of their ass. Fair is fair after all ;)

Sigh, I knew it was just a matter of time until you really retired....when I first suckered you into taking over for me in Valhalla you would only do it because I promised it would only be for a 'few' months, welp I never un-retired and that few months became over a couple yrs(give or take a couple months I cant recall exact dates lol), I knew you were the man whom could step up and fill my rather large shoes(size 12 tbh) and you did that and more. I was always comfortable with how you operated/lead and when you managed to help pull off AI with Oly and BAPS you cemented your name in history imo. Thank you for all you have done over the years and will join you on the porch yelling at folks to keep off our lawn soon. Again thank you for a job well done and earning the respect you deserve.
Pansy on the other hand.......dear admin what have we done?!?! The sheep market just crashed I think as their futures look bleak, but bright and full of win for you(Pansy).

Indeed, and I have no problem with doubting the word of a rogue that was attacking your alliance. However, some simple speculation (eg the rogue just blew his entire warchest and only has 80 mil left and oh he's also saying that this round of war is his last maybe the two are connected!) would have been useful. Two months later, when i still haven't declared any wars or retaliated or been active in the slightest might be a good time to drop the "you're a liar and were sent on a jihad by umbrella" bs propaganda. (directed towards footstool hal, not you). Along with all of the other crap his mouth is spewing.
I understand where you are coming from, but tbqh we didnt gather an intel Spy op done on you so had no clue as to how much your WC was left after you re-bought, though we obviously saw that you spent a crap ton of money re-buying, for all we knew at the time you still had enough dongs left to keep going etc. So as we both know that without hard evidence to say otherwise we had to assume it would happen again despite your stating otherwise. Sounds like in the end it was a chicken and the egg kinda deal and only in hindsight(seeing you not re-dowing, just sending out your tech) did it become clear that you were being sincere.

Eh, I dont think you have lied M9P, but for AI to just assume your words about not going to PM and restocking after the wars with your alliance mates would be foolish. As AI .gov cannot see into the future that i know of we wuld then have to take the facts into account and the facts at the time were that you had gotten your first stagger borked, so you got into PM reloaded and then came out and hit AI again, then your slots were filled by your alliance mates,again with no stagger, so regardless of what you 'said' you were gonna do(not hit PM again and not redec any more wars) the prior facts refuted that and as those are what we had as an MO, we couldnt accept your declaration of intending to stop hostilities with AI and acted according. Thats just simple fact and form following function based upon prior modus operandi from yourself.

Oh cmon puppets we all know and saw the decs from Umbrella filling your Def slots within minutes of you coming out of PK reloaded and stocked. The mighty hand of admin did eventually delete those wars but we were at alliance war stage by that point so your slots were moot at that point, but the fact remains they WERE filled by Umbrella, within minutes and now here we are all having fun blowing shit up. Just because you mentioned AFTER the fact you would not be hitting AI again(supposedly) makes no difference at all since you sure as hell didnt communicate that to AI, and for AI to think you wouldnt do the same thiing you did the round before(goto PM restock, come out, hit AI) is the height of foolishness considering no one is a mind reader around these parts. Had you communicated with AI saying that the round would be the last one against us 'may' have gotten us to take you at your word and lay off but you did not do that, and hence here we are. Simple, not even close to rocket science my man.

Karma was the greatest, or most grand war that I've seen, just because of the epic scope and the richness of the context, drama, and implications. Just the fact that an organization like the Blackstone Collusion even seemed necessary back then... But in terms of the forces aligned and actual mechanics, it was a huge letdown. You'd think that overthrowing such a dominant hegemony would be more of an actual struggle, but it was over as soon as it started.
Equilibrium, by contrast, doesn't have nearly as much going for it in terms of context and political drama, but the battle is the most legitimate struggle I have ever witnessed since I started paying attention right around UJP. As others have noted, it's impossible to point to another conflict in which there was this much uncertainty as to the outcome once everyone has chosen a side. I think because of that, and because the stakes are so high, people are really making serious sacrifices this war. I can't even remember the last time the top 40 alliances were collectively so low in NS. And then you have such a great point of interest with the upper tier conflict, which has gotten us to a point where every last nation in a certain range could have strategic implications.
So Karma gets my nod for grandeur, but this is by far my favorite actual battle.

Thread is now totally pointless as neither side will give up our beliefs, you have yours and we have ours and neither come anywhere close to matching. You downplay the active conversations with your folk on our forums and respond with "but you never even signed up on our forums!" As for being invited, AI did in fact invite Umbrella to make an embassy on our forums but the same respect was never reciprocated and after a month or so we in AI saw the writing on the wall that your 'side' wanted nothing to do with us, upto and including TOP objecting to any ties to us within PF(Which feanor said earlier in on of these clusterfuck threads here on the OWF) while still being tied to IRON whom were one of our best and longest standing allies. Add that up and of course we made 'contingency plans' for what at that point was looking to be inevitable. Then when tensions were at a very high level you and yours fucked with us by filling puppets slots in a way that would allow him to reach PM to reload and hit AI repeatedly, prolly having a good chuckle all the while figuring we would just let it slide or just continue to lodge useless complaints to your .gov about it. For good or ill that was not the case and we took your gauntlet slap and responded in kind and here we are. Simple as that. Oh and it certainly doesnt help your case of being the 'victims' when the almighty hand of admin made his ruling regarding the subject.
You then made several call outs of 'come at us bro!', and you got your wish. We came at you, so really you should be happy you got want you wanted, we surely are and are having a blast doing so. Beats sitting around collecting and stat building which Umbrella did for so very long while others fought in bloody wars. So kick back and enjoy the ride, as this one is an E ticket for sure with no end in sight.

You could never have just targeted Valhalla specifically as to target Valhalla was to target DR. so you may have discussed rolling just valhalla but the reality was you were also targeting DR and our allies as well. Thats just fact.
