I might agree with you if of all of the alliances on these boards the past few months, the SF ones had been the most aggressive.

At any rate, it's pretty clear how Ardus feels about Mjolinor, there's really no way to spin it.
I think me and you can agree that it is possible to like alliance in a bloc that you (generally) dislike.

In the most recent conflict, most of the alliance in Mj fought on the opposite side. Mj does wield power and pb/dh/allies aren't invincible. "Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer." I won't go as far as to call them enemies, but they have fought on opposite sides before which is a bit unnerving. This is what I think Ardus meant by stating I plan on a world where Mjolnir's influence is nominal, even with a hard earned military victory. He later stated I don't plan on starting a war. But I want to be as ready as possible for when one breaks out, as it inevitably will. Basically, hope for the best, prepare for the worst. This is being a good/solid alliance leader because you have to look at the storm clouds as they appear and prepare for the lightening that is sure to follow.

My favourite line was "I plan on a world where Mjolnir's influence is nominal, even with a hard earned military victory."
Way to tell a whole bloc you want them to burn for you and will reward them with not much. The real moment of glory will be when we see if Mj are happy to be super meatshields for MK's desire to stay in power.
I see you are courageous :ehm: It's not being meat shields when sf is acting aggressively against pb/dh/allies. PB/DH/Allies will be affected too if sf wants to roll pb/dh/allies. It's really just looking after the common good for people in pb/dh/ and allies.

Who would be bold enough to pre-emptive attack in this game?
Not many alliance have the balls to pre-emp as seen by how long it takes for wars to develop Its just shows that sf is acting aggressively towards pb, dh, and allies. That being said, I see more of a cb for pb, dh, and allies for the aggressive behavior exhibited by sf. Call me crazy, you might be right. Ardus, assuming quote is true, said it best when he stated [We] cannot abide Xiph's lying, posturing, and candor anymore. If sf resolve is strong to act aggressively against pb, dh, and allies, we must prepare for the inevitable conflict that is bound to happen. Its sf putting allies against allies, it's not our doing. In the end, I hope allies understand this because in the end, that's all that matters.

Kwell, why are you telling everybody that your warchest is 10% of our minimum? We can't have people knowing the hype is baseless.
It's to let them think we are vulnerable and trick people into dow :ehm:

  5. Muh, not new information. Basic politics that every alliance plays; at least, assuming its true, Ardus reasoning is sound.

Besides, who really wants to be allied to someone who tells you who they will allow you to be allied with? This going to be a fun, long war. FYI, 3 billion warchest and counting. I'm in it for the long haul, ARE YOU?

I think they consider the red sphere to be trade partners, making it best for alliances on the same color to work together for mutual benefit. They don't control red or have any obligations to protect every nation on red from attack, although an attack on the red sphere in the past has always been seen as a legitimate CB in the past if they want to use it.

Considering FAN jumped out and attacked NPO first chance they got after NPO was done completing terms for the Karma War, NPO was sort of proven right that FAN would attack them again.

I wasn't talking about now, I was talking about 2007-2008ish, the Moldovi doctrine (or something like that, to lazy to look it up). The apology thread didn't cover reasons behind their action. It could be as simple as "because we could pull it off" or was there more to it. And, Methrage you aren't part of NPO, so hush. Fan hit NPO as a result of their action. Yes, NPO apologized. They didn't explain what caused it (unless I am mistaken).

It just happened to be a name that was tossed out at the time that didn't meet with much objection. Créole groups are mixed societies taking hold of various qualities from their originating cultures. Seemed to fit pretty well. Outside of our flag and the title of this thread I don't think we've ever given much thought to the theme. It also had a unique character, which serves some purpose if you want to keep off the radar. I'm sorry I don't have anything more profound to contribute. We're sort of stuck with it now.

While we appreciate that mythos, I don't think we've ever tried to hide the fact most of us couldn't find where we last placed our sticks before the battle is over.

now you can go back to 2 more 'fun' filled years of being irrelevant and isolated.......yay?
Irrevelvant and isolated? Psh, they don't need treaties when they have a 109,000 average ns. They would give most of the top ten some trouble in a 1 vrs 1.

It's quite possible you've never heard of us, and we're generally okay with that. We are, after all, one of those do nothing alliances that sits around collecting statistics. That said we're a happy bunch of retired farts and disbanding would require far too much work, if not a quorum.

We skipped announcing our first anniversary, our eventual appearance on the alliance listings, and we've kept most of our statistic related dueling with The Order of the Black Rose to private channels. There is however a growing opinion that things that don't get announced publicly aren't official, so we'd like to go ahead and enter the following into the public record :

We've been having a blast since you last heard from us August 3rd, 2009.

    Best Regards,

I agree there are to many of these threads, but I thought this one was pretty funny regardless. Good to see some Non Grata have a sense of humor, I've seen a lot of you post in here I don't normally see who aren't bad.

To be fair, I just like to see things blow up : D

Maybe if someone of a government position to make those decisions disagrees, with whether an alliance is clear from wrong doing by expelling the government member responsible for giving the CB, then I'll bring up some examples. Although I don't think anyone who has been government in a major alliance for long would disagree with me on that. If Fark decides not go to war over it, that would be them choosing not to use a valid CB.
Truthfully, it doesn't matter. Everything is relative to the situation at hand; this situation is a member of NG gov went against general consensus of NG's other gov by notifying IRON of something that hadn't even been voted on. Some alliance take offence to sovereignty. In this case, NG sovereignty was violated by Cynic for his "war mongering" in which other gov members disagreed with, and had voted against. Fark, saw it as just Cynic going rogue once they talked to NG's other gov members. Action was taking against cyncic. End of story.

"War mongering" is a justified cb if a majority of gov members agreed. In this case, they didn't.

  12.
That has never flew as reason the alliance isn't responsible in the past, the alliance is responsible for the actions of their gov. The alliance can't put all the responsibility on one person to resolve them of responsibility, every alliance tries that if they think they will lose.
Really? Please enlighten me.

  13.
I agree Cynic was being stupid to make another of these topics, but he was top level gov in Non Grata posting a public spy report they did on Fark. That's far more of a CB than anyone uses for anything anymore, but always stuck as a solid CB regardless of what happens afterward or was agreed on before. So this is the best CB Fark will have before the next time they fight a war to honor a treaty due to someone else declaring somewhere.

It would be a shame if Cynic's efforts go to waste here, with what he's giving Fark and allies right now.
That would be true if NG hadn't kicked him out and declared him rogue. Since its not, nice try, no cigar.

  14.
This fixiation on wanting to roll SOS Brigade, who is allied to RIA who is allied to Fark, just further proves why Fark would be a fool to wait for NG's side to call the shots in any war to come.
Did you even consider that maybe we wouldn't want to roll Fark or Ria? Making assumptions makes an *** out of you and me.
Why don't you stop trying to prevent a war on a topic that has already been settled? It being made public means any previous agreement on how to settle it doesn't matter, unless both alliances agree its been settled. I'm just responding to responses to my initial opinion now that I've given it.
If you feel so strongly, why don't you do something about it? After all, EVERYTHING MUST DIE : D

  15.
He should get an A- for effort to say the least, don't you agree?
You’re being generous. I would say the screen shots were a solid B because it lacked quality material.

  16.
I thank you for your support. While the word "sabotage" is a little strong I did tell IRON about NG's plans to roll SOS if RIA dropped their treaty. Why? NG sure as hell wasn't going to tell them. Actually iirc the damn near exact words were "Lets not ruin our PR until we get the IRON and NoR treaties signed since FOK and PB are cloudy as to where they would stand in war" or something to that effect. Of course those would be the screenshots everyone is referring to.

EDIT: I must add I did just "inform" NAH who the said he would appreciate the SS

NG was in no way going to get rolled for what I did. So theres one issue with your theory. As for the singular ZI... I beg to differ. In fact King Xander nor any other member of NG government will actually give an answer.

    -snip
Dude, quit talking. You can't honestly expect not to get zi'd (and hopefully eternal zi) for leaking this info. It’s a violation of inner alliance trust. There wasn't a need to tell Iron yet. Discussing an alliance opinion on the matter should be addressed before telling an ally. As screen shots show, NG didn't want to roll sos yet. You took it on yourself to try to force it anyways against other govs approval. This means you are a rogue who not only jeopardized NG's safety, but you breached alliance trust and alliance security. You deserve what ever comes to you. Will you learn from this? That remains to be seen. I won't lie, drama would be nice. I am tired of collecting taxes and paying bills. Although, I am liking my tech shipments coming in : D

Ahaha...yeah, everyone would say "this is our alliance, we can run it however we wanna run it". It's really nothing more than a way of saying "I don't have a way to match your argument so I'm just going to stuff my fingers in my ears and scream like a baby until you go away".

Firstly, I doubt he tried to sabotage a treaty single-handedly, by posting some damning logs no less. He's not a retard, you know (actually, you probably think he is, just because he's your enemy now). In the event, he has caused NG harm, seeing as everybody now knows that Non Grata will [s]allow it's members to get away with spying[/s] give lenient punishment to alliance spies (and spare me the !@#$%^&*, this guy was not some low-rank grunt, he was the !@#$@#$ Minister of Defence).

And secondly, again "get your nose outta mah business" is the same as "this is our alliance, we can run it however we wanna run it". It's not going to work, so you need to give up and go home right now if you haven't got anything good to bring to the table.
Sounds to me like they handled the situation correctly. The "mod" went rogue by log dumping information to cause harm to NG (this is why he is considered rogue). Ng, being diplomatic, decided to kick him out and zi him instead of getting rolled. This is what rogues deserve. It is just a singular zi (depending on his war chest, it may only cost him money and tech). It isn't eternal zi. What else were they suppose to do? They could have been like polar, and still keep him around, thus creating an issue. They didn't, thus, no harm, no foul. Well, I take that back because it tested the relationship between Fark and NG.

  18. Hating on NPO is old. Find a new aa to hate on. NPO already received punishment for past wrong. If your going to hate on an AA, come up with original material next time; a better name would be Pacifican baby killers. New Pacific Order is Garbage is just stupid. Please re roll and don’t try again because it wasn’t funny the first time.

As of this announcement, AcTi is officially disbanded. All members have been told to go to "Olympus Protected" until they find a new home, unless they want to fight Batallion's personal battles alongside him.

The peace deal was unable to be reached because Olympus informed me that the leadership dispute would need to be settled before the peace could happen. While I respect their decision, I do not agree with it, and decided that continued bloodshed of member nations should not happen because of a myself and Batallion quarelling. Therefore, I disbanded AcTi. Batallion can keep fighting his war; I won't, and I will not try to make AcTi members fight it either.

tbqh, even if you think Bat is an idiot (btw, to the guy who called Batt an idiot earlier... it just makes you look like a tard when you can't get "your" and "you're" correct in the same post), he does make a good point; AcTi, for all intents and purposes is basically a personality cult (a little like STA but without the awesome). If you don't like Batt as a leader there's only 1 option; the door. AcTi isn't a democracy, it's not a meritocracy... it's a "I'm the leader, giddy up or $%&@ off"... ocracy...
