Too bad we can't control how many alliances declare on us. Not sure how we got nine. It seemed that we declared on RoK, and then RoK got 8 or 9 allies on us.
But, we're doing well, the pep talks we got before the war were pretty good, they consisted of four words, "We're not paper tigers." Apparently we have to prove we aren't - I also think we're doing quite well, good to see my vision on the situation is supported, so I know I'm not insane.
Peace for legion is only a chat away. LOSS would never give Legion harsh terms, we've fought alongside you before in many wars. Our attack is not a personal vendetta.

LOSS History I'd say there is no other living alliance which has been through what we have, i'd say GATO is close though.

Perfect. Right around the time that we told all of our close MDP partners we were going to enact our MDPs. That was told to you on the 19th, well within the 72-hour period. Oh wait, didn't you get the memo from Jaaku? Here's a part of the convo I had with him not too long ago:
Lol let me get this straight.
1. You tried to activate an MDP fully knowing that LOSS had already cancelled the treaty and that you had not been attacked.
2. You don't get attacked
3. The cancellation period expires
4. You have a boo boo

First of all I don't speak for the NPO, Personally no I don't like them.It's not they haven't done this before. As for using them,I just personally think people should live up to their commitments.
Were are not committed to those 6 alliances as we are not bound to them. The cancellations were made almost a week ago, before the global war even began. The discussions of the treaty cancellations were discussed for a over a month. Bad timing maybe, but perfectly legal and acceptable.

Canceling a treaty = Typically nothing wrong
Canceling six treaties = o_O
Canceling six treaties right after your allies activate them = Sincerest Betrayal. I believe that's also a new record, right?
What on earth makes you think they were activated? LOSS cancelled on the 17th. If they were activated even during the cancellation period (one of which was 5 days) LOSS would have been obliged to help. Get your facts straight.

This isn't just about Pacifica. You betrayed five other alliances whose names aren't "Pacifica." You preach that Pacifica is the dirtiest, most evilest alliance out there yet look at what you did. Your hands aren't clean and people will remember that the next time they sign a treaty with you.
Since when was cancelling a treaty betrayal? You should look at Pacifica's history for attacking the very people that kept them from harm.
We are no direct threat to our former allies, we respect them very much. Our Princeps made a promise not to engage any of our former allies.

It is quite a shame that the Legion of Smaller Superpowers chooses to attack a dear friend of Echelon. Although Jaaku pledged to avoid incursions upon Echelon in the treatise cancellation thread of a few days ago, this does indeed hurt us. Poor show LoSS.

It has been a very, very, long time since LOSS has had to make an announcement of this sort. The last time we did was over 2 years ago. That time, we knew we were walking into a death sentence. Thankfully lady luck was on our side, and we escaped, but under what was considered to be one of the most severe, and longest terms of the time.
A lot has happened since then, we've had old friends move on to greener pastures, and we've seen the destruction of some of our closest allies fall, while new friends come to greet us. We've enjoyed relations with some of the most powerful alliances in the game. However, for the older members, who remember the glory days of LOSS, there's always been a nagging thought in the back of our head: Why?
Why are we allied to these people we call friends, but always seem like outsiders?
Why did we stand by, watching our friends go to a war they could not win?
Was it a dream? Was it real?
Recently, our membership has been asking the same questions, which as you all saw, lead to one of the biggest treaty suspensions on planet Bob, and a treaty signing with some very old friends of our past. Today, we come before you to honour that treaty
First they came for the IAA. But I did not speak up, for I was not an Imperial.
Then they came for GR. But I did not speak up, for I was not a Republican.
Now they come for Vanguard, but this time, I speak.
Enough. We will not let our friends march to war while we sit by in the comfort of neutrality. We will not wait until there is no one left to speak for us in our time of need. We've had enough.
On April 23rd at 23:55 server time, Nemesis formally declared war upon the Legion, during that time they also requested our assistance. Effective immediately, we enact "Back to Black accords" and recognise a state of war with the Legion and Aura Borialis.
tl;dr : LOSS is still pissed at GR for not giving us polar bears in exchange for black panthers, and have declared war on GR

How about NPO is forced to move to the Pink Sphere and forced into Neutrality.
One thing that the NPO will have to do which I am looking forward to is admit defeat publicly, something they did not do in GW1 even though they admitted defeat in negotiation channels. I think a lot has been learnt since GW1, I believe NPO will never be given a chance to rise as a large threat ever again.
