  1. Wait, what? Please keep in mind that use of nukes has been specifically prohibited by the GPA; anyone using them is automatically and immediately considered a nuclear rogue and no longer a member of the GPA.

This is good to hear but I've already seen evidence of GPAers using nukes already.

Congrats to 64Digits on their 300K milestone and I hope you guys enjoy the cheap tech....I sure do.

Btw, nuke policies are different for some alliances so it's good to let them be known. Good job on a good nuke policy.

  2. I agree with what the OP is saying. GPA chose to be nuetral.......I mean ya they messed up ALOT, but seriously who are you guys to police them? Yes many of their actions were "not neutral" but were they ever at all a threat to anyone in this game? Well besides NPO's top spot as an alliance......................

Anyway, it's obvious that the GPA would never have attacked anyone so this is not 100% neccessary.

On the otherhand, in NPO and gangs defense, GPA has been continually pissing people off and perhaps you guys were just so fed up with waiting for things to get fixed.....

Stay out of matters you don't fully understand. I don't believe your alliance was involved with any of these "non-neutral" acts, So how would you know if they affected influences outside the GPA or not?

On the otherhand, I do believe this was 100% necessary.

  3. We stopped being neutral by whose standards sir? Your? Ours? As far as I'm aware, the GPA was the nation who set the standard for Neutrality and the NPO handles the wars. We've never strayed from our path, and clearly you haven't strayed from yours.

This shows a complete lack of understanding the gravity of one's actions. Each human thinks differently and thus when new leadership of an alliance come about---the viewpoint of "what is neutral" changes. Even if the terms of your charter did not change during the past four months, the viewpoint of what is considered neutral by your government members certainly has changed. Continuing to make blanket statements about how you are the one in charge of deciding what is neutral is pointless considering you have made moves that affect other alliances. Your own arrogance was and is ultimately your downfall. You need to realize at some point that other alliances don't function quite like yours and you need to respond accordingly.

    Edit: Grammar

  4. o/ Moo Cows with Guns!

    o/ Pacifica!

Who didn't see this one coming. Even still, it's great to see their "peaceful" reign is finally coming to an end.

PS: This is what happens when Moo loses a game of battleship...it certainly isn't a pretty outcome.

  5. I enjoyed reading both Ejayrazz's and Vladimir's posts. They both make great points but lie on different sides of the equation. Ejay suggests that honesty no-matter-what belies respect and should be attained in this game even in the face of those who don't deserve respect. Whereas, Vladimir pinpoints this theory as being idealistic. He suggests that honesty "without limits" is disrespectful and will ultimately leave you friendless. Ultimately, I believe Vladimir's viewpoint is more realistic and will lead you to a more fruitful friendship. Friendship is about trust and respect built through honesty and support. Vladimir points out correctly that you must stand by treaties you sign in this game and support your allies in their times of need. By doing this, you build trust and respect with your allies and develop a long lasting friendship. This support is what I believe most people fail in providing RL friends most often. I went through a difficult situation a few years ago and found exactly who my friends were. Those individuals who supported me during my troubled times were my true friends. Those who disappeared and couldn't be found, were not.

On a side issue that only Ejay raises, I agree only to a certain extent that if OOC personalities = IC personalities, this game would be much more civilized and respectful However, therein lies the fault with this philosophy. RL is not this way, therefore, why should things change once we get within the contexts of a game? I do not like the fact that people feel they can be overly aggressive, disrespectful, and/or completely dishonest (i.e. self-serving) in this game. But I dislike these same qualities in people in RL. These types of people exist in RL as well as CN and this will not change due to human nature.

  6. This is a well written apology and the NPO was more than gracious over the past several weeks but this -->

However, once you posted your desecration of the flag (how it happened matters not; it was the posting of it that was the grievous insult) everything changed. You stepped over the line in a big way.

So in game I do not forsee forgiveness coming anytime soon. May Admin have mercy on your soul, LJ, for we shall have none—in game.

    o/ Moo!

    o/ Pacifica!
