    Correct.

    The thing with Red is that many unaligneds initially select it because it's their favorite color. Then they join an alliance and, in most cases, move on.

    Stable trades on Red -- excepting trade rings with NPO members -- are damn-near impossible.

    All the product of a single entity with monopoly hold on a single sphere.

    Lordy, what better days are in store!

    Did they inflict it on any single alliance as part of peace terms? I'm not talking about damage done by warfare here, I'm talking about damage done by peace/surrender terms.

    I'm talking about ALL fiscal costs. You seem to make some arbitrary distinction between wartime costs and peace costs, but you wouldn't have the latter without the former (and the NPO is great at doing what they do-- making it look like alliances that stand no chance are somehow threatening to them, which isn't really avoidance of war).

    Has any alliance in history ever forced another to endure a loss of over 40 bill and 140k tech as stipulation of peace terms?

    This has inspired some curiosity in me.

    Does anyone have the statistics relating to how much fiscal and technological damage the NPO has had a hand in? Does anyone have the concrete figures as to how much money was lost by the alliances that went up against them?

    Because I'm almost willing to bet that in the three years of CN's existence, they have inflicted just as much damage total as is being done now.

    I collected my money, paid my taxes, and went to purchase tech with my remain money ($423,495.13). When I went to confirm the tech purchase, it stated that I did not have enough money, and that I only had $11,195.13. I did not gain any tech, I did not gain anything, and everything has remained the same. The only thing of note that I changed was my nations religion to conform with its "desires".

    I would appreciate having this looked into. Thank you.

    NPO has claimed sovereignty over red a long time ago. If Ivan Moldavi had originally decided that would also include unalingeds long ago there would have been no issue now. However, Moo-Cows created the Revenge Doctrine as an addition to the Moldavi Doctrine which to my knowledge includes nothing about unaligneds. If you wish to take the route that you have always had sovereignty over the unaligneds on red, I would point out that for over a year NPO has been forfeiting that sovereignty. Which in my opinion would negate a claim to always having had sovereignty over the unalinged red nations since the conception of the Moldavi Doctrine.

    The reason I think that my sovereignty is in fact violated is because I used to have the exclusive right to decide which unaligneds I would tech raid (the fact that the answer to that question has been none for seven months is irrelevant). Now I don't have that right. To me, this seems to fit the definition of sovereignty that I found.

    Wait, so you're !@#$%*ing because you lost your supposed "right" to violate other peoples rights?

    Oh man, this is too much.

    Federation isn't part of Atlantis either. The Federation merged with TAGA, which became MDC. MDC is the heir of Federation.

    No, because MDC is MDC. The three core founders of the Federation are in it right now. WE are the Federation, Cheyenne. No amount of your bleating will change that.

    Myself, Frank Carbonni, and btbtbtbt. In case you had forgotten, we're the ones that have every claim to the Federation, we're the ones that decide whether or not it exists. Just because you sold the Federation doesn't mean it was yours to sell. It's ours.

    There seems to be an abundance of people attempting to dictate to Pacifica what is or is not "honorable" in this thread, primarily from swindlers, thugs and extortionists who wouldn't know an honorable decision if it bit them in the ass.

    Pacifica is now and has always been the very definition of honorable. To stand up for your brother, even when you disagree, or have disagreed, with their decisions is honor. The Ordinance of Order predates any of the treaties that many are flaunting now, it supercedes all other agreements and pacts, it is beyond diplomacy.

    I have already addressed the error in comparing these events to what occurred with the Imperial Accords, to continue to post comparing the two shows a new level of ignorance in the Cyberverse. Bravo.

    There is no honor in keeping useless and defunct treaties intact if they bind you to dishonorable people.

    Yes, shame on us for getting mad when our forums were hacked and a foreign government harbors said hackor. :rolleyes:

    ODN has quite a history with GOONS. Their reason for attacking is much more justified than GGA and the NpO's ever was.

    Justified? I think not. How can you justify going to war due to past tensions when it seems most opportune, as opposed when they began? I must admit I am rather shocked that the ODN has gone so low as to insinuate "psychic damage" -or damage that is non-existent, simply social differences- is the driving factor behind this war.

    The one time that they have no legitimate stake in a war, and they jump in. The irony is killing me.
