Who cares whether his stories are true or not, YOU DON'T 'F WITH FAMILY. Period

Exactly. Everyone knows that insulting anyone's family earns you a 1 way ticket out of the game. The point isn't about whether or not it's true. And it's not about whether Polar is overextending or not (because they aren't imo and I'm on the receiving end of their aggression). It's about having the decency to not insult someone's family, especially when they can't even defend themselves to you. It's childish, pathetic and degenerative.

  2. Imho, I never liked Junka. I'll never forget the day he was originally thrown out and he ran to Polar. Even from Polar, he was always undermining my FA policies when I was SNX GoFA using the SHADOWS group he established long before. That's why I left for Atlas. Can't believe he was ever allowed to return.

It is what it is though, just gonna go about my day.

  3. So in recognition of the hostilities against our allies in Monsters Inc and the actions of Jack Layton, you can expect me Kashmir. I won't bother with posting a DoW, so take it how you will. Although I will be more than justified in hitting you guys when I do.

Lol your one-man war on Kashmir is sooooo terrifying

What the hell is this? That is one absolutely colossal down-declare. And that's just looking at the stats, without taking into account that both Krabz and FF are not exactly what one would deem elite alliances. Krabz even mentions "Most of our nations will have very little experience with CN in general, and war in particular." in their alliance description. And then taking a look at them, only about 1/3 of their nations are even built.

    This is disgusting.

If you wanted to do a massive down-declare on TDO, why not just admit that fact, rather than try to hide behind these stats, which are ridiculously lopsided on their own?

I expected better from you, Cowboy.

    The Order will remember.

Down declares for days. This is pathetic. I expected more from Defcon after they hated on everyone for down-declares last round. It's in RE's culture but D1 seemed better than that.

Smh, I guess I was wrong.

    Good luck this round.

  5.

Congratulations SNX. Your alliance of 113 members, of which 65 are on brown, didn't even manage to get half the votes of GATO, who have only three more brown nations than you.

35+ votes went to a second candidate my friend. Other votes went to Atlas. Get the full facts first.

  6. I thought it was funny that the sanction on Panzer set by Libertonia back in early February is still in force. Apparently Panzer was fighting TLR at that point. Both the sanctioned nation and the sanctioning nation are currently on Red and full members of the New Pacific Order, the sanctioned nations AA seniority is currently 95 days.

So let's be very generous and assume this sanction was really called for in the first place. It's still been in place for over 3 months since it ceased to be called for. And with 5 BC Senators NOT ONE of them has bothered to remove it since. I understand several old sanctions were removed just before I moved, so I wont see them, but this one is still there as of post time.

I do not see how anyone could look at that and argue with a straight face there is not a need for an independent senator here.

OLD has earned their way to having an independent senator. That's why they currently have one and may continue to have one unless we happen to get more votes
  7. I was invited and encouraged to join Brown, along with others in my trade circle and their alliance, all are still on Brown. The reason III Percent fears me getting a seat is I have a lot of friends on Brown. Hopefully SNX realizes III Percent doesn't care about them and leaves BC, along with other alliances in BC who don't want to be associated with this. Also if I abandon the sphere, it won't be just me who loses a $50m Wonder, but many of my friends on Brown as well.

Why should I run away when I'm winning?

Here you go putting words in people's mouths again...smfh. When are you gonna learn that we're just sane enough to realize we don't need a psychotic character in our sphere that is only delaying progress.

Please do in 5 days, unless of course you have new excuses then. I knew III% were itching for a reason to get involved in the Mi Inc War and very disappointed SNX didn't give them their excuse, guess your alliance and Atlas both decided to attack whoever they wanted as it was ending regardless.

You know I don't care about my stats and care about the Senate seat much more. I think you do care about your other stats a lot, maybe even more than your Senate Seat. So I'll save some for you if you're willing to fight outside the senate as well and haven't created an excuse for why you can't by then. Although the target on you remains. You can't escape Karma by hopping in peace mode as you turn the knife on someone.

You say you hate GOONS for their eternal target lists. Sounds to me like you're now doing the same thing. Enjoy.
    o/ III Percent

Funny I also mentioned that as an example of what I would remove, a relic of the past none of the other senators care enough to look over despite being a clear case. If I didn't mention they wouldn't of considered it for years, if ever. Proving I was right about who should be unsanctioned, when they didn't know of anyone. On their own they only think of placing them rather than removing them.

And making non-factually based assumptions again. You're honestly justifying this more and more as to why you shouldn't be in the Senate.
  8. He seemed to of wanted this discussion here and spoke his mind, so I said what came to mind as well when I was reading his posts. If some debate can be misconstrued as a hostile action, the brown sphere would be a much more unstable place than it is. I still wish him and his alliance well. I don't think the brown sphere is a place where something like this like could be distorted into something else. If he has any concerns he's always free to PM me and I'll be diplomatic about it.

I honestly have no personal qualms or issues with Methrage. I do not represent anyone in these discussions. This is merely a debate between two folks who reside in the same sphere. This is not meant to be hostile by any means. I wish the best to Limitless Nexus as well.

  9. Also don't worry, all my votes are legit. I can't believe they have you playing the role of head diplomat when you talk like that and assume everyone who isn't in BC must be doing something wrong.

I didn't question the legitimacy of your votes. I'm also not the head diplomat. I speak for myself as a concerned member. I'm allowed to have my own opinion as is anyone else. This is not the exact opinion of BC nor SNX.
  10. Do not patronize me. This isn't my first time in the sandbox, lest you forget I am a reroll?

I know exactly who is voting for you. What's up front is evident, what isn't is still hidden and that's what I was referring to.

Do not drag SNX's reputation into this. You do realize that I am government in SNX right or have you not done your homework? Besides, I am merely speaking as a concerned member of BC. I do not speak for BC. However, I still am concerned for Brown as a whole when a rogue-lover is potentially taking a seat.

You say "verify the facts before you make absurd claims." I could say the exact same to you.

  11. And I'll just throw out that to me, a rogue is a nation that is just nuking more-or-less-at-random as part of a national suicide.

It makes some sense to go ahead and sanction them, you're just bringing the damage on slightly sooner but it was going to happen anyway.

Also I have to say I am very disappointed to see the hostility towards Methrage's candidacy. I had no idea. I thought the fifth seat was competitive and that Brown was basically friendly. :(

Well, considering that TSC, Atlas, SNX, GATO, and III Percent (5 alliances) make up BC, it means we are to have all 5 seats. With OLD securing one seat now, that means 4 seats for five.

With Methrage coming in and falsely claiming that we (SNX) support his move to brown or his running for senator, naturally I'm going to be a little upset, to say the least. I was even more upset when I learned that he may potentially have a seat when he doesn't deserve it yet. He came in to our home and made comments in an attempt to strong arm Alexio15 who was representing BC as a whole.

Of course I won't take strong arming attempts lightly. Brown is friendly to each other. Brown is not friendly to outsiders who threaten our family.

Those who aren't trying win 2 seats are more friendly towards it and I think he's just letting off some steam at the prospect of me winning one of those. I wouldn't pay much attention to it. Even going by the recent BC announcement, only 1 SNX senator is approved by them anyways.

Please tell me who is supporting you. I'm intrigued. It's certainly not anyone from BC after everything said. SNX only supports votes for legion-x of Rocky. Those who are voting for our other member are doing so out of desire to vote for him.
  12. I respect most within BC, but you guys encouraged me to earn my seat without BC supporting me, rather than seek it. Also SNX encouraged our move to brown and welcomed my run on brown when I was switching from Pink, I'm just surprised you guys didn't show any support when I tried cooperating with BC to get a seat, despite SNX being so outspoken in favor of our move to brown and supporting me running for the senate when the decision was made to go to the brown sphere. Talk to your former President about the discussions which were had if you weren't around back then.

Let go of the past. We do not support your claim on Brown. We haven't since you came asking for our help. Your love for rogues makes you potentially toxic to our sphere. I said earn your seat, not call in favors. You didn't earn it.
  13. I won't accept that as the "norm" just because some alliances have abused their seats in the past, this is why I run for the senate. To make a positive impact on my color sphere at least, where everyone isn't suddenly restricted on who they can trade and associate with based on the whims on some senators who don't care about the stability and wellbeing of their color sphere. I want Senators who promote freedom and don't abuse their seat for tyranny.

So you go about that by calling in favors to avoid having to gain the respect of BC? You're circumventing the group in Brown that is designed to do exactly what you preach.
  14. The official wording is as follows:

    1. Supernova-X and The Sovereign Order will not engage in acts of aggression against one each other
    2. The Sovereign Order will be under the protection of Supernova-X
    3. The Sovereign Order holds the option to assist Supernova-x militarily
4.This treaty may be cancelled with 48 hours notice from either signee

  15. I don't know under what conditions it was requested by TSO they fight for them if it was requested, but this wasn't a mutual defense pact and Die Linke just came out of a very damaging war not long ago. Considering those circumstances, its understandable why they did this rather than throw Die Linke into the fire over something which could of been resolved.

TSO wasn't in the Doom War, so they likely have a much bigger appetite for war than SNX right now. I don't think there is much use in mulling over how it could of been handled different or giving an alliance which has went through what SNX has a hard time over this.

I don't want to get into it too much but there was no formal requests made. It was just a seemingly standardized message to gov members in-game from Ceres. However, the past is the past and we're past this. We want positive relations with TSO in the future and wish them the best in this war.
  16.
Didn't they technically already ignore it and then cancel it?

If not fighting for TSO under the conditions requested counts as ignoring it, they did that to an active treaty, and then for good measure, trash canned the treaty.  If not fighting for TSO under the conditions requested doesn't counts as ignoring it for whatever reason, then this whole, better of two dumb ideas doesn't make any sense.

No, we didn't ignore it. We canceled it to prevent the negative image of ignoring a treaty which was going to be canceled anyways. Thinking about it now, it would have been much worse to ignore it then cancel.
  17. I agree with you up until the last bit. It couldn't have waited. No cancellation would mean either you'd get chided for not entering in defense of TSO or you throw your rebuilding weak alliance to a war they are ill-prepared for on the eve of a losing war and you cause further problems for SNX. Either way you'd start your new era cast in a negative light.
All things considered I think you made the best move possible.

I appreciate your support Unknown Smurf
  18. As much as seeing any bit of our remaining respect torn to shreds, I want to honestly thank everyone for having a civilized discussion, with the exception of Rey and Unkajo, about this.

Now, I want to sort of explain a situation to you all. When you have a history plagued with scandal and your last remaining devoted, very active members leave, how would you respond? Would you disband or would you fight for the survival of the alliance?

Now consider this, you've only been around for a week when you see numerous old friends jump ship because they don't want to be around if you disband. Shortly after their departure, you get your new forums. You're left with no charter, no knowledge of current treaties, no new nation guides, no academy, nothing. You now have an opportunity to disband or recreate the face of the alliance.

This is exactly what I have gone through. We didn't lose the forums for a month, per say. We lost them for a couple weeks and then took two weeks to recreate them from scratch. Now if you don't consider that we've been through a complete restructure of forums, restructure of government, completely new government, implementing a new charter, defense revamp, internal affairs rebuilding, and foreign affairs revamp all in the past five days as contextually relevant, then our calculated dropping of TSO isn't going to make sense. I understand that timing could have been better but talks of canceling began when I took an interim MoFA position almost two weeks ago. Recent events sparked the furnace to move on it and their complete disregard for our counseling was the straw that broke the camel's back. Honestly, this could have waited until after the war or at least the 48 hour clause. However, this was a long time coming.
