Even under threat, I will brave the odds and vote for the most honourable option.
My vote will remain secret, but I'm sure you can take a guess at how a gentleman would vote.
(Also Romans exist)Is this seriously your DoE?
Do you know how fast you were going son?
I swear I was going the speed limit, sir.
My vote was all 3. Can I be a police officer?
YES JUST BECAUSE YOU VOTED THE SAME WAY I DID :awesome:

Spell your name correctly and they might unban you.
Never ever. Seriously still banned though :(
-
Last round was last round, y'all. Paul you should have access now
I'm still banned for idling in a channel. My mere presence was enough
-
I guess the thorough internal investigation left people out of the regular government?
Welcome back
-
No Kurdanak? You are falling into the same boat as Citadel is -_-
Good luck Doves.
-
I do not recognize a Citadel not led by DZE and/or Kong. Nice lineup though, might be a little criminal to have that big of a government :ehm:

Fixed! I knew Round 26 had more than that who passed 1M casualties but I could only see the top 5. If anyone else from that round went over, or see that I missed something let me know! It helps a lot.
1M over multiple rounds is real rarefied air, but to do it in consecutive rounds is something else. The back to back casualty titles seems to be the oldest record in the book.
R26 had 9 people pass 1M iirc, probably should check that out in the Casualty Race.
-
Round 31 has begun. I wanted to take a second to provide a few interesting stats that I came across when redoing the records.
-Only two people (Cardinal Roark and Bombuator) have ever gone over one million casualties in consecutive rounds.
Double error
-
I passed up 1M casualties in Round 26 as well!
-
Wasn't TE Police the most in casualties, and probably in Infra lost as well.. did I just miss out on four $30 donations by a round? Ugh!
(I was ranked #2 in TE Police at the end, unless someone jumped up at the last second and I missed it)I missed out on 4 too

I still think there should be a little bit more awards to be won by single nations besides Casualties and NS. Maybe have Most Casualties, Attacking and Defending?
Otherwise I like all the new improvements, gunna be a fun round of destroying a lot of infra and killing a lot of soldiers.
-
Not necessarily, it might just mean 2 or more alliances combine their nations into a single alliance so they can increase their overall casualties.
I just think you don't really know some of the relationships between AAs. Only one super AA is capable of forming that wouldn't have a bunch of shit members. It won't happen either, TEPD can win awards without the help of other AAs. (Except help us get more casualties of course, we hate turtles)

I actually think the misfits have turned themselves around in a lot of ways, and not just danny. Their building has been much better and their warchests haven't been comically low, which used to be their guide.
If they stop shooting themselves in the foot -- declaring everyone who disagrees with them butt budies and women, screaming down declare, attacking targets already engaged in dogpiles, or on very friendly terms -- I think they could be looked at as in the upper echelon of TE alliances.
Take it as honest advice and a compliment, or take it as an insult, but I think you guys could be a lot more then you are.
They need more update activity for sure, sucks when most of the AA is European and early morning updates just aren't your think. I had the same problem in Hellas for several rounds.
-
This was something I'd noticed, of all the Misfits I had not expected to rise to the occasion Daenerys was at the bottom of my list, but I'll give her credit where it's due she's becoming a talented TE player. Nice to see people realize their potential from time to time.
She certainly is becoming one, still needs to learn how to continue to build great throughout the entire round not just in the first few weeks.
-
You do know that alliances are the only thing keeping this game going right? In both TE and SE. Why would you want to break the legs on that?
Or can just take the top ten casualties of each AA. It could give an advantage to larger AAs, but not many AAs have 10 guys that can get large amounts casualties a round.
-
Alright Nick, I'll take everything you said as nothing less than opinion. I've heard from others positive thoughts. As far as our rebuilding goes after wars? I'm sure you noticed most of our guys rebuilt after our wars with the TE Police and attacked again within a day. You seem to be thinking of misfits 2 rounds ago still. I've seen nothing less than us going uphill. As I stated, your opinion is one of many.
To be fair to Misfits, Daenerys was the only target TB and I had in our second war that did fight back besides lobbing nukes.
-
WOW bomb 666 post, be careful. The alliance cap is the biggest problem for me at 10 members.
I can say I was Emperor Nero for about an hour.
-
You need to beef everyone up monetarily. When a nations joins the tournament pool, they should have more money than that of which they would've last round.
If you need more money you aren't building right. By the end of the round I could have fought to ZI and rebuilt to 3999 Infra over 5 times without collecting a penny.
-
SDI is pure luck, but it is a part of the game that must be dealt with and planned around when doing target lists.
MP is needed, just look at last round. TEPD utterly destroyed Roman Empire and Skaro during our first war, neither alliance had nations in the top 5% (or very little) until very late into the round. If they didn't have access to an MP, they would be at a great disadvantage to anyone that didn't get hurt as bad first war or that didn't even fight a first war at all. With that said, people would be inclined to large downdeclares to save pixels or not declaring war at all to be able to stay within nuclear buying range.
-
I'm thinking of the following changes for Round 31. Your feedback please:
- No Manhattan project wonder. Replace with EMP Wonder (where nukes can target more technology and less infrastructure and vice versa, players get to decide what they want to target when they launch their nuke). Only top 5% can get nukes.
- Get rid of the current prize structure. Bring back Most Casualties. Limit alliances in size to 10 members each. Top 3 nations prizes will be determined based on the top 3 nations by nation strength in the alliance that has the Most Alliance Casualties.
- Can only trade within your alliance.
- Bring back foreign aid. Can only aid within your alliance.
- Roll out the war related improvements from SE to TE. Forward Operating Base adds +1 offensive war slot. As such, Forward Operating Base will be more expensive.
- Roll out the crime index from SE to TE along with it's improvements and the airport improvement.
EMP would be fine.
Casualties ftw.
Do not limit alliance size and trade. That would literally kill off any AAs that really try hard enough to have temp traders. Either limit Alliance size, or trade only within Alliance.
No Foreign Aid, no mercy to people who can't take a little bit more time to be a better builder.
Moar offensive slots is awesome.
Crime Index will confuse a lot of people, I don't like it.
-
As shown by previous rounds, the best builders usually will get this award. Check last round, TE Police had 5+ members in the top ten.
-
Never would work, people could literally be sleeping for half of the round. That would be hell to fight anyone who could coordinate all day together too, rofl stomped every 30 minutes to an hour.
6-12 hour interval days might be interesting for people that can't make regular updates.
-
Aka Flag Running even easier.
Nukes shouldn't be taken away.
-
Most ever in a round is definitely not as this is being done currently. If that was not the intention, the wording saying so is definitely wrong and unfortunate.
The wording really isn't wrong, just that it doesn't update the record automatically like it should.
And now for a small announcement from your local Police Department.
