    If that was the case, why didnt those secondary alliance strike until about a week later? It took time for people to realize that this was an attempt to destabilize the globe. A popular reaction against the 'shrooms rose up, and was represented by the several alliances who struck in defense of neutrality and stability. Meanwhile, very few nations or alliances rose to fight for Allachron in the first place.

     

    By every political and in-game measure, and other than a few biased friends of the Mushroom Kingdom on the OWF, the global consensus is that Mushqaeda is "bad, very bad indeed" in the words of the Great Ubuntu.

     

    This wasn't a war at all, but rather a police action against a handful of terrorists who thought they had more power than they do.

     

    How could MQ destabilize the entire planet by attacking an alliance with zero ties to any alliance?

     

    A guy who leads a Zulu themed alliance shouldn't be a judge on the goodness of others. [ooc] If you don't know, look up what the Zulu did in the early 19th century[/ooc]

     

    It was an action by opportunists to attack a MK affiliate with zero ties to the outside world, excluding GPA. If they really wanted to keep the global world stabilized they would've also attacked Bear Force One. You know, the "terrorists" who attacked the NpO.

    And yet I accomplished exactly what I wanted. As I have already communicated, I have no personal issues with TOP, but I did have a problem with MK/MQ, and not for the reasons you think I did. TOP decided to extend indefinite protection to MK, despite MK members going rogue. That is your right, as is my right to criticize it. Are a few words going to make us perpetual enemies, or are we trying to accomplish something bigger than the petty "politics" of the last three years?

     

    Your viewpoint is flawed due to the bolded part of your statement. TOP ONLY protects members of MK who have been in the alliance before the disbandment, and have not engaged in offensive actions against any alliance. Your blatant avoidance of facts is rather comical, although it is becoming rather annoying.

    TIO got pissed because (from what I have gathered), incidents like this are not alien. They have happened before and concern has been raised before by TIO. Given that PNU responded militarily on its own, that took away options for courses of actions for TIO. Therefore, diplomacy was used to negotiate reps. The negotiations were a success and 12 mil was agreed upon. When PNU then re-declared on evidence that later proved to be false (I'll get to that in a second), again without consulting TIO, that was our government's final straw, I suppose. We again negotiated peace - white peace this time, and cancelled the protectorate.

     
    May I ask what is "low" about this course of action? I'm curious.

    This is the last thing I'll say on this.

    There was a lot of confusion here. Alot of false info on both ends. From my view, it looked like this:
    After peace was reached, Drivindeath told us they violated the peace agreement which was enacted at 11:30pm.
    He posted messages from about 7:30is am the next morning, which clearly showed he was attacked AFTER peace was reached.
    Then, Zach, Drivindeath, and whoever else start posting demands of war all over the forums.
    In response to this, I contact TIO asking permission for DoW.
    I make a topic on our boards asking the Senate for a DoW. I forgot to tell Rayan that I contacted TIO, who said theyd get back to me later.
    Rayan approved the DoW, and we hit back.
    Important note The DoW was posted under the thought that DS had violated the peace deal. I still see no reason to believe otherwise.

     

    I said we should get reps. No reps = no peace. If I was told peace was being negotiated and reps were agreed upon, then I would've kept quiet.

     

    Don't act like you had no part of it, Fox Fire. You were the one insulting DS in their embassy on PNU forums during peace talks. You were calling for war with or without reps.. You were boasting about your superior fighting skills over DS all through the conflict(which were lackluster, IMO).

     

    I'm still waiting for all of this "integrity" and "truthfulness" to show.

    A half year of work will vanish tonight... But even then, unlike anyone here, I'll still have my word. I'll still have my integrity.

     

    Coming from the one who claims I was Minister of Defense, saying this was my fault, and claims DS was the aggressor (after peace was agreed upon), despite evidence to the contrary? Who is really the one lying here?

    I made a tech seller's list and was given mod status in the trade circle/tech deal section of the forum. I don't know how that constitutes defensive work.

    I was not even in government. At the time I was nominated for Deputy Economic, nowhere near defense.

     

    If you know that, then why say DS are the aggressors

    The issue was sorted, and peace was agreed, with our alliance paying 12 mil in reps. TIO had helped to bring the peace together. After agreeing to peace, which was to be on the update of the 19th, which can be confirmed with various people, PNU decided to attack us, disregarding the peace they agreed to. They also started bringing TIO into the mix without even consulting them. As a result, TIO dropped them, and MO came in, and then the war was ended with white peace.

     

    I can confirm this. I didn't know TIO was involved in the peace talks, though.

    Im pretty confused as to how the defender somehow became the attacker.

     

    I believe it was when the PNU restarted the conflict, either during peace talks or shortly thereafter. 

     

    This is curious to me. Was there an established protocol that PNU must approach TIO for help whenever raided? Did TIO sort out this incident first before canceling?

     

    I honestly don't know. I wasn't the one talking to TIO nor have I read the protectorate agreement.

    I recently Spy Op'd someone, and it shows them having -1 spies. I'm not entirely sure if this is a bug or simply a display error, but I just thought I should post it here just in case. My apologies if this isn't a bug/display error.

    I liked the part where PNU was recently attacked and kept at war for a few days and TIO responded by...canceling their protectorate.

     

    There's a bit more to it than that. PNU was raided by an alliance called Doom Squad, PNU counter attacked without telling TIO, and TIO got pissed.

     

    I'm not trying to excuse TIO's actions, in my opinion their actions are rather "low". Slightly understandable, but nonetheless bad.
