OOC: I'll first begin with a public apology to everyone here, I'm the one who had contacted IKrolm about a week back for New Zealand, I'm sorry for causing any anger, annoyance, or ill-will towards anyone else from any other or towards me - apologies go to IKrolm, Mogar, Kankou, Sil, and the CNRP community in general. I'd also like to give my thanks to IKrolm for striking a compromise, and to everyone involved in the 'Oceanic Union' for being ever so patient and kind. And without any further ado, as requested by IKrolm:

"We would like to thank the Oceanic Union for initiating this discussion, and as much as we agree with the Council of Eight that New Zealand is best united, we support the compromise brokered by the OU to accommodate the differences represented by our respective movements. We thank the member states of the Oceanic Union for protecting New Zealand for time being. We hope the bonds of friendship between sovereign states in Oceania/Australasia and/or the Oceanic Union will be strong."
