Reference.com explains: The name is derived from an ancient Greek word, meaning a banquet to which the guests bring contributions of food, a no-host dinner. The group was founded by Olga Froebe-Kapteyn in 1933, and these conferences have been held annually on the grounds of her estate (on the shores of Lago Maggiore near Ascona in Switzerland) ever since. For over seventy years this event has served as a point of contact for thinkers from disparate fields of knowledge ranging from depth psychology and comparative religion to history, literary criticism and folklore, and provides a setting and a congenial group within which to discuss all things spiritual. Each conference takes place over eight days, during which time all participants eat, sleep and live together, thereby promoting a camaraderie which fosters an atmosphere of free and open discussion. Each year a new theme is addressed, and each participant scholar delivers a two hour lecture on a topic of his choice relating to the theme — his/her contribution to the ‘banquet’ of ideas — thereby attempting to draw these multifarious thinkers into productive intellectualism. The Eranos Defense of Empirical Nations (EDEN) is a newly founded, black team alliance built on the foundation of loyalty, courage, and justice. We are small in number, but offer our members protection, guides to increase the quality and prosperity of their nation, and experience. Triumvir Mr.AdmiralX (MAX) is a former Minister of Defense and Director of Game Mechanics of Legion during the time it held its sanctioned status. After a short break from ministry positions, MAX applied and received a position in the Multicolored Cross-X Alliance (MCXA) ministry of defense. Triumvir Empress van Wain (wain) is a former Home Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of the Legion during the time it held its sanctioned status, as well as holding a position in the Legion ministry of defense as a commanding officer. After departing from the Legion in November 2007 with MAX, wain shortly thereafter received the position of High Councilor in the MCXA. * Some of our members include former MoDs as well as individuals who have gained experience from their former alliances. It is because of this close relationship with MCXA that EDEN was able to receive a protectorate with them. Because of this agreement, all members of EDEN are not only protected by their own leadership, but the leadership and membership of the MCXA as well. While the Triumvirate of EDEN are permanent members of EDEN government, we do not feel it is necessary to overshadow the great men and women who are elected Ministers. At this time, the membership of EDEN is very small in number. However, once our population grows, we will hold regular elections where all members of EDEN are eligible to run. Once each ministry has a "head" (or "minister"), the Triumvirate of EDEN will take on a more "supervisory" role and allow each department head to run their ministry as they wish (provided it is in line with the EDEN Charter). I've had two events in a row, both good, thankfully.

For what it's worth, we could use more of the female species. We are few and far between.

I've seen this question answered in the past, but I cannot recall the answer, so I apologize if this is becoming an aggravated subject to continually touch on. I have been playing CN since September 2006, and I've always logged in here at home. This coming fall, I will be transferring to a University and will be moving on campus. I would like to log in while I'm on campus, as I will not be coming home every weekend, and don't want to risk my nation getting deleted. So, any advice on what I should do or how to go about this?
