- He was asking where he saw me putting the spies. "Where do you have the spies at?"
It's like asking someone who is running for alliance leader "Who do you all have treaties with?" as in saying "Who do you foresee getting a treaty with.
So it's the same concept that "who do you want me to steal the guides from" is the functional equivalent of "I got professional guides, yeah they are stolen." Cool story, bro.
-The reason why I said "I can deny everything" was because originally our plan was to have a 'fall' guy, and I would be the one to deny everything and the 'fall guy' would take the blame for all the spying-planning and we could kick him out of the alliance. Good, right? Ethical CN-wise: Nope. We ended up not going this route, however.
Aside from guide stealing, that is. And from the looks of the resignations from your alliance and the general opinion of the public, that fall guy is you.
-I wasn't alliance leader at this time. I was trying to dismiss the guides from OSA while saying, "We can use these guides instead". This was also during a time where we were still heavily debating on spying or not.

Whether you were leader during the Skype log is indeterminate. But in the other logs,

Some guy: the last thing I want is you, the emperor of anathema, ousted for spies

That shows pretty clearly that you were the leader and you were approving spying by your people.

  2. Yeah I wasn't going to reply since I really don't care about any of the parties involved, but seeing as I appear to be one of the few neutral people and have read the OP, I'd throw in an unbiased opinion.

Some guy: where do we have spies lol.

    You: GOONS.

There. It doesn't matter it was less than a month ago (a short span of time in CN terms) you just admitted in your own logs that you HAVE spies in GOONS. CB #1.

You also appear to confirm that you have spies in Legacy, though why you'd spy on those !@#$@#$ cowards is beyond me. I'd call that CB #2 but Legacy would never do anything about it, so we're still on 1.

You: We're trying to shake !@#$ up.

Ok, Lennox-wannabe. Being a spy alliance then, with no ethics or decency, its leader unreliable and lunatic. I might call you [redacted]. CB #1.5.

Some guy (paraphrased): the last thing I want is for the Emperor to be ousted.

    You: I can deny everything.

Hmmmm and yet you saying there that you will deny everything is a lie, and in this thread you should be believed? Remember, these are your logs which you posted.

Moving on to the Skype convo, I'm paraphrasing the quotes.

    Some guy: I have guides.

    You: Sweet. Same.

Some guy: I have professional guides.

Now how do you 'get' guides. Did you write the guides yourself? If you did, then I can see how you can make an intellectual property claim, or if they're public access, like CSN and NPO's guides on CNtel, but I'd really question the source of the guides. And when you say you got some, from where? Your past alliance?

Some guy: Yeah they are stolen from some guy at OSA.

    You: lol oh geez

Any decent alliance leader (hypothetical): GTFO with stolen guides, we don't spy or steal.

See the difference? With 2.5 CBs, if I were GOONS or OSA I would roll you. If I were Legacy I would disband. But that's just me.

    Good luck, in any regards.

    Edit: CSN, not USN

I see where you are going, and my answer would be to point you to the part of the terms where it says "or the equivalent".
In the last two months there have been two separate Spartans who have declared on two separate Pacificans, and I can guarantee you that their wars were in no way, shape, or form authorized by any member of government. NPO managed to restrain themselves from declaring war on us, probably because I talked to their gov, admitted that our members were acting without authority, apologized, and offered to repair the damage. If I recall correctly, a Spartan spied away a nuke of a NSO member, and as far as I know that situation was resolved. I would like to see some logs of MK refusing to diplomatically resolve this situation, because one or more than one rogue attacks does not a declaration of war (or the equivalent) make.

Again, incorrect. War's don't start until they are officially recognized. If you accept the idea that the terms, which are an official agreement, are valid, then you must inherently accept that wars aren't "wars" until officially started.
When you went to MK to diplomatically resolve the rogue attacks, did they then tell you that they recognized a state of war with you, or did you make that decision on your own?

If you get into moderating blogs you;re asking for alot of trouble. because where do you set the guidelines of what can and cant be in a blog? Is my cheese blog against the rules? is the relgion blog against the rules?
Cheese blogs or religion blogs don't really interest me, but when people are making IC announcements in blogs then I might be compelled to reply.

  6. I notice some people are making alliance announcements in blog posts. What are the rules for posting replies in blog posts?

May I be politically uncivil as though it were on the OWF?
May I mention moderation issues? (like trolling)
Is it IC or OOC, and does this depend on if the OP blog post is IC/OOC?
Does the blog owner have the ability to delete posts/ban people from posting?
If blog posts are 'derailed' (if possible) will a moderator 'lock' the post?

  7.
3. Leaving Exodus - Any member is free to leave Exodus whenever they so choose with no animosity or ill will whatsoever. In the event a member wishes to leave Exodus, she/he is to message a member of government with a reason. If the member owes Exodus money or technology, the member is expected to pay Exodus the money/technology back in a timely fashion.
Perhaps put something in there about not deserting?

Regardless, good luck, and hope relations between us can improve.
