I am aware. Its a throwback to that "Wonderful" history and is poking fun at all those who actually use that phrase seriously. Especially when their own alliance is in pixel ruins.

It warms my heart to read such a response. I am not sure how we prevent people from participating in discussions but it is a great concept, lets take the one thing that engages people still and prevent it from happening. MasterRace indeed

So I'll take it as another generic my "side" vs your side post.
But no, I was not limiting or suggesting anyone else from participating in discussion. As I've stated earlier in this thread, this is a place for only discussion so I never really understood why people get so amped up about other people expressing their own viewpoint and opinions. Yes, the one thing that engages the community is basically the drama of politics, so why limit it. People should express whatever they want, however much they want. Don't like what they are saying? Do something about it.

I'm speaking of the fact that this is 23 pages of people arguing the validity of Fark's right to attack someone who aided their opponents - while they support a war started without any reason whatsoever.
I honestly don't even know why any of you are arguing this. What a stupid point to nitpick and defend.

Fark chose to exercise their right to hit WFF, Fark is a sovereign state not chained to the will of DBDC. DT has chosen to send aid to WFF to help them out. Why does understanding the above require NINETEEN pages. Did I mention you've been at it for 19 pages?They need to be absolutely sure they "win" this argument. Otherwise they have nothing to show for. "Oh, we will never have a top tier, but we can limit their tech deals" is literally their argument.

So let me ask this question. If you were in a losing war and an alliance small enough for you to do something about was aiding your enemy what alliance on Planet Bob would not act? You would have to be a liar or an idiot to do nothing about it. Every one on here complaining is doing so purely from a politcal stand point and not common sense one. What makes it even worse is that is coming from the side that has attacked several alliance just because they might aid an enemy. I think it has been pretty clear what side of this war I have supported. However, even I can not stand this level of hypocrisy.

That's not even a reliable metric of whether or not they're "new"—Fort Pitt has been a ruler since 2007 and has been on the AA for 60 days. Aesthetics Land has 1.7 billion dollars on hand.

Peace mode jokes now? You're confused. Polar jumped in with our entire alliance exposed and you'll have trouble finding a single Polar who hasn't fought multiple rounds of wars. Your coalition mates can attest that Polar is fighting. We have more wars than any other alliance and 2,248 more wars than DT. Your alliance has 27% in peace mode. We have 25%.
Woah now. I was just asked to "sell down" and "do something about it" to which I responded that I could not because a) i am out of range and b) even with 0 infra I would have no one in my range who is not in peace mode.
What are you confused about? The nations you are sending tech to are not providing yours with financial aid. The importation of tech without a direct exchange of cash is a military transaction whether it fits your insane definitions or not.

I get it, you're a little on edge maybe because of some posts in this thread, but I am not personally attacking you. I am attempting to hold a discussion why tech deals are not considered acts of war. And again yes, the free tech to enemy nations seems pretty sketch, but I have not been recording these deals on either side so I cannot comment on it.

I've been in wars before. I've even fought DBDC before. I've never had DT target my opponent's tech sellers or tell them to stop selling.
I'm sorry there is a huge gap in NS. They're just better.

The discrepancy here is with the various degrees of meaning for the term financial assistance.
Yes, I understand the point you guys are making and would agree to some extent IF we were sending full aid packages to said nations (similar to the scenario that someone proposed in order to raid <30k or something).
But these are tech deals. Growing our nations; sending something of value for something in return of equal value (or more/less depending on your capitalistic goals).
I, myself, me, do not view buying some groceries at a store as "financially assisting" the store in the sense that I want to see that store succeed or to see that store beat their competition. I understand that some people do view it this way (boycott Wal-Mart so your local mom/pop store can succeed), but I do not. I want some cheerios and do not care if walmart ends up owning the entire world.
With the term "no financial assistance" in surrender threads, I honestly would assume that it would mean that tech deals are still allowed.

Clearly we agree on the topic of aiding nations at war or your coalition wouldn't put that condition in there.Not too sure what those surrender terms have to do with this current topic. Why did we agree on that? Do I represent that coalition? Did someone surrender to me? Did I come up with those terms? I do not care who is doing tech deals with who. It just means more tech to blow up, and hopefully more casualties. In all my battles, I have never considered tech deals an act of war against me or my alliance.

Sadly no. They'll peace out eventually. My new AA Polar Bear Polar Cave (dual membership w/ NpO of course) will continue to raid the 30k and below range, funded by free tech and cash from Polar (NpO!) tech sellers. We'll swap in and out from the Polaris AA when it's convenient. Just don't you dare claim that we're the same alliance, that !@#$'s insulting.

I do find it interesting how there is functionally no difference between DT and DBDC and DS

Completely different alliance that the one that currently exists, you know that. As for damage, yeah its easy to do when you've done nothing but collect tech for the past two years while everyone else is using their statistics.
Gonna have to call bullshit on this. The core is still here, and we haven't changed. I don't think someone outside the alliance has more authority over that than the actual alliance members.
