  1. A lot of alliances have been waffling on the 200 member mark for most of this year, I think by the end of this year the only alliance above 200 will be NPO. And, well, everything will continue to slide after that point.

We've had a number of long-time and even original members delete lately from sheer boredom and disinterest.

I'd be pretty shocked to see IRON or Polar drop under 200 members.

  2. Couple that with the utter hilarity that IRON gov tried to sell to all of C&G in the months prior to the war. "We have no desire or wish to hit DH"... over and over and over and over.. to anyone who would drink the juice(fortunately, nobody in TLR bought that line of nonsense, we much preferred NPO's honest of saying "you realize DH is next?" IRON had no desire to war DH, but they wanted the war to last longer. They had no desire to see C&G harmed, but they wanted the war to last longer. It is an inconvenient truth that they try to cover their duplicity up with.

CnG's harm or success was never a topic of discussion. Again, IRON did not declare war on any signatory of CnG and neither did any IRON ally iirc. Why are you trying so hard to vilify IRON?

This entire notion is 100% absurd. The hit on DH began its planning stages nearly the moment (maybe even a few days prior to)... the Dave war ending. Any continued denial of this by anyone , anywhere on Planet Bob, is freaking ridiculous. There was no move to be made to prevent it from happening. If the NG-NPO.. NG-IRON... INT-IRON... NPO-TLR.. NPO-GATO... TIO-GATO relationships could not prevent it.. do you really think tying MORE to what would become EQ, would have stopped it? That's ridiculous.

Ah, I see. You equate hitting DH to hitting CnG somehow. Well allow me to clarify, hitting DH did not equate to hitting CnG. See how easy that was?

  3. You just had a long post where you cancelled on an ally for caring about CnG..... Somehow, I don't think INT are that stupid. It's noted and stored for future reference IRON. Thank you. We were kind of wondering who on that side was just trying to buddy up to us for bullshit reasons. Suspicion 1 confirmed.

Guess this means we can't expect a v-day card from you either?  Looks like we'll have more for Int then! And it's a shame that getting to know our ally's allies constitutes BS to you. Makes parties awkward, I imagine.

  4. Why would you want to exchange valentines with us anyways? You just dropped NPO because you claimed they supported us more than they supported you.

It happens to be one of my favorite holidays, and I'm sure a well written one would improve you all's mood. No, but I don't think further discussion will change your interpretation.

    Hold on.

*runs to get pen and paper*

"IRON wants to see CnG destroyed."

    Got it. Thanks.

I doubt our buddies in Int agree with that, somehow.

    Do I know you?

Hmmm did we fight in IRON-LSF? If not, hello.

  5. I don't always agree with Hereno...but when I do......

Get to know IRON they said. They are good people they said.  I am glad we didn't take that advice.

...it means you should seriously re-evaluate your opinion, to finish your first thought.

On your second thought, likewise. I'm not sure what your problem is with us, but it appears we won't be exchanging valentines any time soon. Oh well.

  6. Then why the hell are they whining about NPO fighting for them, again?

Yes, as a member of the opposing coalition who got to sit back and listen on who was fighting good and who wasn't, I'm misinformed.  The only alliances fighting better were DT/Sengoku, and possibly AB.

NPO didn't fight for us, we warred as a coalition; each AA had it's own reasons for taking part.

Ah, I see. You were told IRON did not fight well, and so you believe IRON is awful at war. Only one way to know for sure, though, right?

  7. lmao at putting the blame on NPO for not winning the war properly.

Interesting interpretation. Wrong, of course. This is simply the result of a divergence of interests, and our longtime friends in Pacifica know we bear them no ill. NPO is still (and will likely always be) many IRONers' favorite alliance.

An alliance that sticks up for all its allies instead of just some? I mean, CnG approached NPO as soon as wounds healed between the alliances involved. MK even (mostly) stopped hounding them. NPO carried IRON's war out as best they could. They stopped at reps. Why? Because 1) if anyone in EQ deserved reps, it was NPO for actually fighting a good fight and 2) What the fuck does IRON need reps for in an aggressive war that it wasn't even involved in the CB for?  You can say the same about GOONS as to #2, but at least they give a damn enough to fight for DH.

I don't even remotely like NPO, this is just pure bullshit.

The two bolded bits reveal how misinformed you are, compadre.

That's what NPO wins for cuddles with CnG and for their lack of resolve in properly win the war, wise decision IRON, I'm glad that you made the reasons of your cancellation public, this is the kind of thing this place needs to get more activity. I also hope that others alliances also realizes what kind of alliance NPO is and get ride of them.

Lack of resolve is not a characteristic of Pacifica.
