DK requested us to sanction several nations in relation to the leaks, as they had of alliances on every other sphere (my previous comments relating to it being because of the war were misinformed).
We requested our senator act on the sanctions as requested, and as alliances on other spheres had already completed.
Would it have been perfectly acceptable if say, NATO's senator had acted on the sanctions instead? According to your logic, it seems like it would have. If that is the case, then I don't see the problem here. The nations would have ended up just as sanctioned.
As an aside, if you consider telling someone that they've "never had an original thought in their life", calling them "white noise", and calling their alliance "little" and "loose" asking questions based on observation, then I'd hate to see what vile content you post when you're actively trying to put someone down.
And we've already stated your actions were garbage and cowardly. If it had come from NATO, WTF, or anyone else, we would have reacted in the same way. We aren't going to sit back and let crap like this happen in the blue sphere, we couldn't care less how legitimate you find the reason to be. It had nothing to do with the blue sphere, and the blue sphere isn't a place where we'll allow people to get sanctioned for simply being involved in an alliance war. Not so long as we're capable of having a say in it.

The sanctions were placed for the reason that Lord Hitchcock released logs of a private conversation with a Doom Kingdom government official. It had nothing to do with the war and was enforced without controversy on every color sphere.
Obviously not, considering the blue team sanctions were lifted immediately, as much of the blue sphere protested NADC's and CCC's cowardly actions.
Please, I know Grub loves to shut down any discussion that contradicts his narrative, but don't solely rely on Grub's creative interpretation of events for decision-making. It's horrifying to see the amount of influence he has in Polaris.
I know this one will be hard for you to believe because you're so self absorbed that you think you're right about everything despite having absolutely 0 insight into anything. But, Grub is *not* a member of Polar government. His influence does *not* extend further than that of an advisor to the emperor and the council. Polar's actions do not reflect Grubs. So just curious but does this make LN and CA connected to NpO now or is MI cutting ties with them? In other words are they still holding on to their MDPs with them and how does Polar factor in on that? Also what happened to Kaskus protectorate?

I never worked in econ so how would I be aware of that? My experience I made 18/300 and to me that is a fair rate. Nothing to get upset about.
You don't have to be in plenty to read the topic that clearly stated our rates.So to clarify, internal tech deals, you do 18/300 and 27/300 (if a DRA is provided), but for external (or foreign) tech deals, you do 12/300 and 18/400?

In Polar I made 18/300 just like in SNX. So they are roughly equal internally.
Bull shit. That's because you don't have a DRA. Without a DRA, we do 18/300 internally. With a DRA we do 27/300 (9/100) and you *know* that. Stop misrepresenting us. -

There are a lot of good choices it seems, but I am not sure whether I want to join one of the top alliances or a smaller one.
Smaller alliances tend to be more prone to inactivity. That's not to say they all go inactive, but it's easier to lose interest.
Personally, I like the NpO for the awesome community. It also has a fairly active group of members that will help to keep you engaged and enjoying what's left to be enjoyed of this game if you wish to be a part of that. There's always something to do at Polaris if you want to help out. The same is true for other alliances as well, of course. All the same, come check us out. =) -
The holier than thou vibe Polar's been giving off since Disorder is perhaps a large reason as to why you find yourself at the wrong end of the sword. You are not inherently better than anyone who plays this game, so leave the high horse and play the game, whether in your own corner or otherwise.

Therefore, the New Desolate Order hereby declares war on The Phoenix Cobras, Eurasia and KrAbZ. We know this is a very heavy down declare. We know our opponents stand no chance. But what we also know is, we need some land to dump our remaining old nukes on to make way for the new ones, and this seems like the best way to go about it.

Please explain who is willing to pay double the going rate for tech?
The real question is, why would anyone sell their tech at a lower price, when they can sell to the NpO. I challenge anyone to find a better price for their tech from any AA that guarantees efficient delivery. -
Was actual cash taken then tech not delivered, or was it a case of those tech deals not being accepted? Going through the quagmire of the previous SNX government's thoughts on this matter has been illuminating, but that particular point eludes from this side. I can find no record of who took the cash and ran. Most likely those records are now long lost to us, if they ever existed in the first place. If such a list is available, I'd be grateful for the opportunity to see it.
There were failings of leadership in that period. Because the government was so insular and opaque, the general membership had the impression it was just an option, and no need to move away from our own deals. It would have been enforced eventually and if the need arises, is something I recall the previous Emperor saying, but it never got that far as we more or less went dormant.
This a new leadership and a new outlook, and we are committed to this new treaty. We will make this work.
Seeing as this was never properly addressed, allow me to clarify for you. Polaris documents absolutely every tech deal that it handles. Therefore, we have evidence of every single person we sent cash to, who among them accepted, who among them declined and even which of our number were the ones to send thetechcash. If SNX doesn't feel the need for such documentation, then that's all fine I suppose. But it's not how we operate. There is absolutely no doubt that multiple SNXers accepted our cash, and that not a shred of tech was sent back.
Tywin has already approached me for a list of people that took our cash, and I have sent it to him. I believe White Chocolate has also received this list from Tywin as well. I don't think I can be any more clear than that, so I'll leave it at this. -

While I do pity SNX and their present predicament, let's all stop pretending that opportunism is anything but par for the course here on planet Bob.
While I can't speak for anyone else, my objection isn't the fact that opportunistic raids are occurring. It was quite obvious they would occur once we dropped the treaty. But I can't stand someone pretending like they're raiding SNX for the good of the SNX membership.
