To allay some concerns about the nature, intentions and origins of this alliance:
1. Yes, the initials of the alliance do spell GOLD. However, aside from being on the Yellow Sphere, which I like for my trades, there are no other similarities. I was thrown out of GOLD for attempting to impose this kind of constitution on them - they do not like me. For simplicity's sake, the abbreviation is the name of the forum for the Grand Ole League of Destruction: The Grand Ole Kingdom, or Gee, OKay (GOK). The alliance name, however, remains the Grand Ole League of Destruction.
2. This is not a safe haven for former GOLD members looking to escape NPO-CIS POW internment. While I sympathise that you were thrown into a war that many of you didn't agree with, I must respect the sovereignty of the established powers. GOLD members wishing to join will need to contact the NPO or CIS.
3. The primary intentions of the Grand Ole Kingdom are to extend its boundaries mightily by taking in new nations, and to develop the lands taken into her walls as quickly and efficently as possible. To this end, members will be permitted to wage offensive wars in order to gain loot, but only against non-aligned nations. For the forseeable future, the King has no interest in the world outside his domain, and deems everything outside it Vampires and Ghosts.
4. This alliance has been created because I wish to seperate myself from the new ex-GOLD alliances that are being formed left right and centre. Whilst the King hopes to keep friendly ties with these alliances, he has no interest in signing anything other than a non-aggression pact with them, again for the forseeable future.
