Have to agree with this post although I don't read too much in this situation. Emotions are running too high for rational conversation.
Agreed. Let's get back to doing what caused all of this. Fighting hard. -
I am still wondering. With all the ghost declares and oA's used for both TPF & STA, what has your coalition accomplished with the crapbags that this war started over? I mean you've shown how hard you can roll out on 2 small outliers of the conflict with no coalition contact. What are you doing in the core of the conflict?
If I had to sign with NG or even NSO for the duration of the next war, I would in order put my boot on your neck IRON. -
Stand tall STA while the chaffe break upon your blades. It is not every day that a cripple in their dying act levee all their power against you. Like i said before, hatred creates strange bedfellows...
-
I will use this again one day soon.
I don't think we believe that Polaris was plotting against STA actively. I think our disappointment is more along the lines that Polaris didn't do anything to stop the oA chain from happening. As I stated before, Polaris has absolutely no technical obligation to STA and thus what you're doing is superficially fine.
But there's a deeper history between our alliances. When Polaris was the pariah of the world, we stuck by you. When you were getting beaten in the noCB war, we declared on every alliance at war with you. Through multiple times in our history we risked total destruction to stand by you. We bleed with you, we fought for you, we suffer alongside you. We cancelled our treaty with you after that due to communication issues, but never once did we regret fighting for you. It was a privilege and honor to fight in the defense of an ally when the whole world hates you. As an aside, that's a commitment your new friend TOP will never give you.
After that kind of commitment, I would hope that your honor would bind you to perhaps not actively defend us but to at least prevent ridiculous oA chains from being formed against your old blood brother. I again hesitate to call it a debt or that you owe us, but more akin to a feeling of profound honor.
You have no literal obligation to us. And for that you can wash your hands clean of what has transpired. The fact that you are able to do so though saddens me deeply because it means that I completely misunderstood the psyche of your alliance. And for that I have no one to blame but myself. -
Man, I don't remember NADC bitching this much when we were ghost DoW'ed by Fark long ago. This poor spin attempt just makes you guys look sad STA.
I believe the problem is that 2 direct allies of ours are now at war... -
What the Hell?
-
Mogar isn't in RIA fyi. He's in his own micro doing his own thing.
Ah. I forgot that his head cannot fit in an alliance with other people in it. Thanks. The statement however stands as it is. -
hey STA can you guy wrangle up a nation or 2 to declare on me please? i checked earlier and you had maybe 3 in range not in anarchy. i would declare myself but im in anarchy.
If I only had one more slot! All full up though... -
while not entirely shocked that you're not participating in your coalition's warplanning considering you would have been on our side had the original plan come to fruition, I can't imagine Pacifica leaving you entirely out to dry if they wish to keep their treaty postwar.
I wouldn't know about any contact outside of our forums. I'm semi-retired... -
I never said it was a good idea, but it will definitely get your side to give you some relief, no?
What side? We came in to defend an ally who was getting piled on. We have no clue what is happening with those who started this war nor do we want anything to do with them. You guys should really speak to your FARKing allies. -
What happens today always shapes the next war. Makes it ironclad as it were and often creates strange bedfellows.
-
So your saying that NADC & TTK are too weak to fight STA on their own. Understandable. I wonder if RIA will prove too weak and need help as well? Your words, your move, not mine.Honestly it was TTK, you guys are a lot for little ol' NADC to handle :v
You know we love you, D34th -
LOL. You would think that TPF & STA were the center of this war.
-
Either you have slightly misread the announcement, or I am missing a joke here somewhere.
Or there is a war party & someone is a bit tipsy posting here b4 going to blow their... Um... Nukes! -
The only reason why you seem to win arguments is because people get tired of arguing with an idiot & flamer and stop arguing. There is no challenge of intellect, but the mind numbing dribble of a fool that gas post most if his/her credibility on bob and now wanders from place to place pissing everyone off.

Nah. It would be too late if there was an IRON DoW on an alliance already engaged with 2 alliances that are bigger than it. :D
Or
If IRON were to do that twice... -
You can read?
Of course he can. What he can't do is buy into your crap. Carry on with your dribble and don't forget to mind the stepchildren... -
I wasn't making a statement on TOP overall strategy in this war. I was just pointing out to D34th that TOP attacked TPF and not STA as a result of treaty obligations. If you want a more detailed answer please feel free to submit your requests to TOP.gov.
I'm just a lowly grunt fighting in the trenches. (oh &%$#, IN COMING!)
I heard the nuclear healthcare website wasn't working yet... -
Well you said it. People go through the effort to oA on us and then turtle or in my case, cm, cm, GA, dogfight, escorted bombing run(15 bombers), spy op(change defcon), naval attack. Then I can & will call them 3rd rate soldiers. MI6, while still focusing on NPO still put up a better fight. This statement does not apply ro everyone who declared on us, just those that have enough active fighters for me to count on one hand. War is supposed to be fun.
Your damage ratio indicates the phrase "third rate soldiers" is something you just toss about. The prevalence of turtling makes the damage taken a lot lower than it should be, unfortunately. -
Don't worry, we're back. Just had to get rid of the TPFers who were still clinging on to us.
Oh we're still here and we have less wars because it is just easier to take care of a few of the third rate soldiers we are fighting. Once we are finished we will have plenty of extra mid tier and a few lower tier nukers to make sure you understand the message. -
I would like to point put that this will be a 2 week conflict with TOP. After that they will have nicely organized our top tier nations into a nice tight pack with the rest of us middle tier fighters. I don't think this was really thought out all that well. I appreciate it though.
-
Congrats R&R.
-
The damage is about equal. If someone like MI6 hit you guys, you especially would be squalling.
MI6 can't come to the phone right now. They're in the woodshed. Maybe you wanna join them?

I am going to go ahead and take at least partial responsibility for this happening. I started to make a move the last few years towards a new FA direction that took is further and further away from the hegemony/tC days. It was my failing that I left business undone when I retired in disgust a short while ago because of allies of our exhibiting hegemonic behaviors, but pushing to cancel our ties. Call it nostalgic hope or lethargy, but most of all call it my failure to act. I, and thus TPF had decided to take a slower and what at the time seemed safer approach, but it seems that our constant battle to climb out of the remnants and stigmata of the hegemony and karma days is not yet over.
I feel much less anger towards Fark than I did last night and most of that is still embarrassment anger.
I look forward to the day when STA & Fark can come to the table and squash this point in time between us. It will no doubt take a mountain of Twinkies for *cough* Tyga *cough* to iron things out.
