I know this is only a tertiary issue, but this isn't true and might shed a bit more light on some stuff. NEW did not attempt to do anything diplomatically, at least with us. You guys were slipping into peace mode as it started happening, so you were definately aware that it was a massive escalation that could lead to war. Furthermore, there is this:

Kaskus isn't losing as much NS because they don't have much to lose. When you are all under 30k, you can't go down that much further.
