    Because alliance culture and history is important, (other) people signed MDoAP, to still have some sovereignty over their FA. But I now get that MDAP has its uses in certain situations, as an excuse: "I don't have control over my alliance's FA, because this article says my alliance must roll together with alliances X, Y, and Z although it will destroy my alliance's relation with alliance A."

    No. They should be mad at people who sign MADP instead of just merge the alliances.

    Moral of the story:

    1. An MDAP (bloc or non-bloc) is in all but name, a merger of alliances. I can't understand why wouldn't these alliances just merge since they love each other so much and willing to put their alliances' sovereignty under that of the bloc/treaty's sovereignty.

    2. Don't ever sign a treaty with alliances which have an MDAP with another alliance(s) unless you plan to have a butt-hurt over your treaty partner attacking your other treaty partner.

    Fark has a [s]history[/s] grudge with NPO, as well as FAN. I don't remember MHA ever done the same to GATO as NPO did to Fark. In fact, MHA helped C&G in Bi-Polar. And MHA didn't hit GATO then due to your treaty with one of MHA's ally.

    I take it personally, and I'm not even in MHA.

    This attack on MHA is obviously planned long before it was declared (as pointed out by Proest above). Way to repay MHA's help during the Bi-Polar, C&G!

    To be clear: Do you think MHA should declare in "defense" of Fark, ie. activating the oA part of the treaty? Or do you think that Fark is not the aggressor and thus MHA should activate the MD part of the treaty?

    Good luck, Tan. Keeping things alive, are we? However, I will be very disappointed if this ends in a week or two. At the minimum a two-month war will show you mean business and not just doing this for fun. Only then, maybe other nations will join you.
