When logging in, my user and pass doesn't work for my nation. When trying to reset my password, it'll tell me I've entered in the code wrong. I've done this several times and used the sound option to make sure I get it right - but I've been ending up with the same result over and over again.

Very insightful post, Starcraftmazter.
I joined CN in August 2006 - I remember quite fondly how the conflicts of late-2006 and 2007 were played out. I remember them to actually be fun, as it mixed both stats and politics - both the game and the made-up world we all live in. I, however, was not here for the Karma War, but I have read a lot on it (provided links from the Wiki). The degeneration of this game into OOC comments and manipulation seems to be worse than /b/'s raids at the end of the Third Great War. Not in what was posted, but in the prevalence of it, and how many participate and are undertaking by this crusade alone.
I don't believe there are any morals in a forum about a nation simulation game. If there were, why are we only now giving a damn about them?

The RSSN strongly disagrees with this decision. It is the right of all people to do whatever they want, no matter how you may disagree with them. If these are government organizations, then fine, that we support, but disbandment of all Nordic Socialist organizations promoting culture is simply wrong.

Pacificans celebrate Flag Day
Today marks 33 years since the adoption of the flag of the Pacifican Democratic Republic. Widely hailed as a holiday to celebrate patriotic feelings and ambitions for a new year within the nation. Traditionally, the President addresses the National Assembly giving a summarization of the previous year and pledge goals for the new year. Small celebratory events are organized in Ussuriysk, fireworks, park events; it is the second-biggest patriotic holiday behind Sovereignty Day, which is 20 June.
Adopted 10 Jan, 1977, the Pacifican flag was designed to represent the green of the forests, the blue of the Pacific, and the white of the mountains of the Ring of Fire.
President Matveyev, the tenth person to hold such an office, addressed the National Assembly 18:00 local time. A prominent part to the speech was Pacifica's recent independence. "We must assert ourselves as an independent, organized, and well developing nation. Our ambitions cannot be too great, whereas we will not accomplish them," Matveyev said, "cooperation within the region is crucial to our development and are placement on the world stage". The president continued to pledge the Republic to Asian, pan-Pacifican, and regional unification, as well as a defensive foreign policy. "Our diplomacy is key to developing economically. The two are intertwined," Matveyev continued to open Pacifica's border to diplomats and foreign investors.
Opposition parties were quick to respond:
The Democratic Party said that the domestic policy proved to be too heavy on intervention of foreign powers to assist Pacifica. This was reflected by Communist Party and the United Pacifican Left. The Democrats also argued for a more interventionist foreign policy, whereas the current administration aren't taking enough steps to secure Pacifica's interests.
The United Pacifican Left stated that Matveyev's foreign policy was "making commitments to foreign power in which the country cannot fulfill at this time". The Leftists also stated that Matveyev hasn't done enough to tackle domestic policy, which they hope to make a strong point in this year's presidential elections.
The Communist Party released a statement harshly criticizing Matveyev's policies, which has been the case throughout his and the previous Democratic administrations. Matveyev's foreign policy was "weak", and his domestic policy "corrupt and capitalistic". The Communists pledge that for this presidential election, they'll return Pacifica to its former glory and a worker's paradise.

"In your essay you call for the need of communism, but however, fail to establish a firm unique theory. You argue that communism must exhibit a global communistic administration elected by the proletariat - a global society. That in itself is neo-liberal globalization. All cultures, demographics, and environments are completely unique to one another - and a worldwide administration or movement cannot act as one or take the same form universally. A proletarian demonstration, movement, or revolution is as unique as the proletarians are.
You go on further to say that any form of market trade is 'traitorous' to any kind of socialistic or communistic efforts. I contest this, as a form of private property and wealth are liberties and rights of man - to earn credit for the labor one has performed in the community. 'Dead labor', as Marx called it, can take the form of anything - we currently associate it with currency, whether it be metals or papers. This basic human foundation to society cannot be eradicated, as a form of credit to labor must exist.
Money can be argued that it is an institution of the state, that too, I contest. An organized form of man, of authority, will always exist. Establishing that fact, we must struggle to keep such an executive authority as far away from bureaucracy and authoritarianism as possible. Only through the simplification of a complex state, the establishment of administrations unique to one's environment, cultures, et cetera, will institute the total dissolution of the state and bring forth a true era of communism."
