Well welcome to the former UKBC news Channel, we have had a load of downtime since the forum changes and now we think it's time to return. Our Main Headlines on the 3rd July 2010: COLONEL-IN-CHIEF BRICK HAS RELEASED PLANS TO AGREE TREATIES WITH OTHER FORIEGN NATIONS... The Empire of the UK's Colonel-in-Chief has announced plans to make peace treaties with other nations outside of his Alliance. The move is designed to increase the awareness of the Empire and create close allies. From what this news agency has seen of the plans, the treaties will cover items such as defence and international aid. The plans were realised when it was announced that the Empire had reached 30K Nation Strength and has become fully nuclear. The set up of a channel #EmpireUK will allow other world leaders to discuss plans on treaties or other great things. THE EMPIRE OF THE UK DECOMS SPY AGENCIES... The Empire of the UK has now decomissioned all of it's current spies and affiliates. The move is to show that the Empire is trustworthy and rarely uses any spies. CRUISE MISSILES REPLACED WITH NUCLEAR WEAPONS... Over the past few weeks the Empire has been decomissioning it's cruise missiles and replacing them with a now full arsenal of 20 Nuclear Weapons, bringing safety to the nation. COLONEL-IN-CHIEF BRICK EXPECTED TO ADDRESS NATION SOON... It has been announced that Colonel Brick will address the nation very soon, perhaps within the next two months regarding his plans for growth and sustainable development throughout the nation. We have seen war and peace and experienced Planet Bob's sometimes harsh actions. Today we, FAR, bring Planet Bob our first big milestone. Yesterday on the 12th March 2010 the Federation of Allied Republics gained it's 50th member since the alliance started in November 2009. The Empire today announed plans to upgrade the following vehicles in it's military fleet: E-3D AWACS PLANE - Upgraded Missile defences, increased speed and reduced engine noise. Equipped with two Air-to-Air missiles and four Air-to-Ground missiles. Also upgraded with a evasive action manouveure for incoming missiles. BRADLEY TRACKED VEHICLE - Missle EMP blast to deflect locked missiles, EMP barrier to reduce blast damage. Increased sattelite signal to contact troops. AH64 APACHE - Increased speed, louder engines to ward of enemies and increased amount of hellfire missiles as well as extra ATA and ATG missiles. More weapons and vehicles will be upgarded as the ASP plan moves into stage 3.

Today Colonel Brick announced the next step in the Advanced Soldier Programme, He announced that all standard SA80, M4, L86 LSW and Minimis are to be replaced with the following: SA90 - Longer range and stronger bullet penetration M6 - More stable and less likely to jam and reduced recoil L78 LSW - More Accuracy and Increased magazine capacity HK 765 - Longer range, more firepower, and more accuracy. He also announced that all weapons will be fitted with optical sights with three modes built into them including, Thermal, NightVision and standard. All weapons will be accompanied by a range of camo sprays, patterned like the ones shown in the UKBC updates. The MoD announced that Stage 3 will be soon to follow.

The Empire of the UK's Military will March on sunday commemorating poppy day and honouring the fallen members of the Empire and other Great Nations through all wars, past and present. Colonel Brick was unable to comment on the event, he said "Wait until sunday".

It was a beautiful saturday morning in The Empire of the UK, brisk but the sun shone bright over the morning sky. On this annual event the Empire called the troops to the parade square for annual inspection. "Battalion, Battallion-shun! Tallest on the left, shortest on the right, single rank, March! From the right in pair, number!" The Brigadier of the Army, Brig. John Doe, sized off the troops this morning. Today the Armed forces of the empire of the uk have taken part in one of the largest annual inspections to date. Three VIPs including Sec. Colonel Brick marched up and down the ranks inspecting each troop. The reason for the Annual inspection is to see if every soldier is battle ready and prepared for war. Each soldier is also given the Bronze Cross Medal, for representing the country and risking their lives. Colonel Brick reminded the Empire's population that the country will condemn war, no matter what the circumstance.

September 22nd Today the Revelutionary Government was out-voted and repaced by a new democratic Government. The New Democratic Government aims to carry on with the ASP and aims to give the public more power.

September 21st Today the Government ended 8 days worth of no Taxes. The Country topped it's financial collection records with a tax collection of over £1 million. The governments expresses it's apologies to it's citizens but claims it had to be done.

September 14th 2009 7 Days of Backcollecting begins. Today the empire announced it's plans to not collect taxes for the next week. The next tax collection is due to be performed on the 21st of September, next monday. The collecting is planned to try and boost the countries economy and help the nation purchase more infrastructure and technology, to grow. Threat Level Reduced, Again Today the Secretary of State for Defence and War, announced that new evidence presented by the National Intelligence Agency, or NIA, has allowed the country to lower it's threat level to LOW, the lowest level on the scale. This has increased the happiness of the nation and become the first step to becoming a more friendly nation, despite controversy over the recent Avanced Soldier Programme. The ASP has caused controversy throught the nation. Citizens protest that the ASP is there to make their nation ready to fight, however the government were quick to dismiss this and issued the following statement: The President of Comasylvania, Rufustfirefly, spoke briefly on the ASP, saying that the Empire was The ASP will continue as planned as soon as The Empire boosts it's financial supply.

September 5th 2009 The empire of the UK has downgraded it's threat today after recieving good intelligence from the NIA, that the country is under no immediate threats. The Government complimented the NIAs work, saying that it has performed a 'successful mission'. regarding it's operation to lower the threat level below hightened, along with it's plans for the new crown army. The NIA was unavailable for comments.

After groups of green peace activists, pleaded for a national earth day, the government would like to remind its citizens that in these hard times, that work comes before the environment. After these speeches the government raised citizens income by $2. The country already has many holidays and an earth day is not yet one of them. A government spokesman said that the council may consider more holidays, including an earth day, after the global recession, which may hit the country.

1st September 2009 The MoD has today released its plans for the new '09 Pattern Camouflage range for the crown army. African, Desert, Woodland and Urban are the Crown Army's brand new set of camouflage patterns. The African version (above) contains colours of jungle, desert and forestry for the ultimate camouflage pattern. The Desert Version is made of the two primary desert colours, sandy and beige. The Woodland version contains browns, greens and blacks to give the ultimate blending into the soldiers surroundings and making it extremely difficult for him to be spotted by the enemy. And finally, the urban camouflage is made up of greys and black and is used for patrols through rural and urban towns. The Urban camouflage is also the primary camouflage for training troops before they deploy in heavily populated zones. The new patterns are the first step made by the MoD towards its aim for the soldiers of tomorrow.

31st August 2009 The Nation has reached its latest milestone, it has now passed the 2000 Nation Strength mark. Today The Empire announced plans for an advanced soldier programme, making the country's soldiers some of the most advanced in the world. Together with its Ultimate Force Plan The country aims to train the soldiers to their maximum strength and make them one of the best infantry soldiers in the world. The country will begin by making a new digital pattern camouflage, named Digital Combat 09. After the first step it will maximise its economy to upgrade the soldiers and tanks of the crown armed forces. Some plans of a naval force have been given to us by the MoD, and other plans regarding new special forces. This comes the day after the Country declassified its security service, the NIA. Colonel-In-Chief of the Armed forces, Colonel Brick, today spoke about the ASP, 'The Advanced Soldier Programme has been released to try and make the army of tomorrow. The Programme will focus on strengthining the country's army, infrastructure and technology. The plans are large and complicated, however in today's world you need an army that is trained to it's maximum level.' More details of the ASP are expected to be released throughout the week.

After the recent change of Government in the Empire to revolutionary, The new government has released the details of the Country's Security Service. The National Intelligence Agency, is responsible for the protection of the country's infrastructure and technology. The NIA is equipped with spies to eliminate international esponiage. Only certain information has been released of the NIA, whilst other pieces remain classified such as international operations performed in the past. The Agency is also responsible for reducing terror threats in the country. The New Government wishes to stress, that the country remains neutral, and has not released these details in any pre-war tactic strategy.
