Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but if not I apologize. I'm (very) new to the game and wanted to ask about two fairly basic concepts. 1. How do "trade circles" work? Are they just a system to simplify locating trade partners and maximizing the benefits? I joined the aqua team and have uranium and lead (bleh...) and was looking to trade for furs gems gold silver cattle fish pigs & sugar. Would locating or advertising a proper trade circle on the forum make this easier than running searches for resources on aqua? 2. How soon can a younger nation begin selling technology? I understand that the going price is 3Mill/100Tech. Is the standard deal to provide the technology upfront? I see all sorts of long and short term tech trades with multiple players and I don't understand how it works. Also, how long is it economical to deal tech for cash? Can I keep selling so long as I keep my total technology level small enough to make a profit from low prices, or do prices go up regardless depending on other factors like my population and infrastructure? Are trade/aid slots involved (and are they the same thing)? Thanks in advance to any and all assistance provided. The game seems great so far.
