Examples please. Don't just throw out accusations.

Do you not attack individual nations and alliances without a CB or in fact a DOW? I think I can go through your war history and come up with numerous examples. And of course, the justification for this is that "they are not recognized alliances". This is an acceptable act while responding to overtly belligerent comments is a "dangerous precedent"?

Yes I am aware there's far more then one option in that regard. I was in Vox Populi you know, I recognize that some people are trying to wage the same kind of PR battle that Vox waged against NPO against GOONS. Yet here is a person telling me that GOONS are cowards because our friends are helping us. Now I do not understand his logical, help = cowards, really? Does it now? Since when has friends helping friends been deemed a cowardly act?

The point is that you know that your friends will come to your rescue so you go around making inflammatory comments fully expecting your allies to back you up if, god forbid, someone actually takes you up on your offer. That is a cowardly act.

My apologies, but this is an aggressive action against us without a legitimate CB. How are we not defending ourselves?

The precedent some of you are trying to set, that inviting someone else to fight you is a CB, is a dangerous one indeed. I'm sure every alliance here has at one point had a member invite another alliance to fight them over whatever grievance the two might have with eachother.

Indeed, it's dangerous to think that one might declare war over repeated antagonistic comments however it is perfectly acceptable to attack anyone smaller than you with no CB right? Typical GOONS logic.

    hurr durr that was terrible

I'm not interested in your "This is Candy Land, let's all hug" moralism.

That has very little relevance to my post.

If you intend to purposefully inflame others in order to laugh childishly about it then you shouldn't be taken seriously. Thus, "elite" would be more of an antonym to the Mushroom Kingdom.

In all honesty, I do not see why anyone should care about what the members of the Mushroom Kingdom say as their comments usually have little to none constructive material.

But I digress, this announcement isn't about the Mushroom Kingdom. Congrats IRON on the new government/president.

What is this 'other side'? Or are you saying that if you are not a member of SuperComplaints, then, by definition, you are the 'other side'?

IRON make an announcement and the MucKers come out in their droves to whine. As do a lot of their suck-up mates. That is what I object to and voicing my objection does not require growing or rallying anything; nor is it a 'cause'.

I'd say you're doing something right if you can get MK to come and complain in droves. I wouldn't worry about what others think of you.

If it's some dumb, 30-day old nation who is giving Methrage uranium, we'd politely ask them to cease the trade because they're just another nation Methrage has scammed into helping him.

If, however, it is a three-year-old nation and a member of high standing in an alliance with notable diplomatic presence, then that's a different story entirely. At that point, you have to know better, and ignorance ceases to be an excuse.
I understand that. My question was what if the nation in question doesn't really care about the political/diplomatic aspects of the trade and just wanted a rogue's resources. It doesn't matter whether it is a 30 day old nation or a 3 year old nation. I'm speaking about this in a broader sense. The rogue can be anyone, not just Methrage.

That's not what I said. You ignored the specifics and the preceding paragraph. I'm not talking about someone going rogue and suddenly whoever was in their circle is in the wrong. I specifically said someone intentionally providing them with uranium after the fact, in a position where you can show that they know what they did was give uranium to a rogue who was going to use it to nuke people.
How do you know that the guy who offered the trade doesn't just need the resources?

KN could grow to 7000 members and treaty the entire planet and Methrage would still be a rogue. KN might be an alliance by that point but that doesn't mean Methrage gets off the hook. You don't retroactively become not a rogue just because the AA you're in grows in members, especially if you're in the same conflict you were in when people decided you were a rogue. Adding members is not a free pass to doing whatever you want.

I'm sure Methrage picked up on my comment a few pages back about how I hate applying arbitrary numbers to alliancedom for this exact reason. He probably saw it and said "Hey I bet I could do that and then people would have to unsanction me!" It's also unfortunate that Methrage is picking up such young nations. We already know Methrage is really good at tricking and deceiving people into assisting him, whether it's through tech deals where he doesn't tell them the important fact that aiding him is an act against GOONS, or recruiting young people who don't know any better. Methrage will hurt anyone he has to to get where he wants. If he has to sacrifice a hundred nations to get what he wants, he will.

I hope I never see the day where a rogue can trick 10 new nations into joining his pretend AA and be considered an alliance and free from sanctions.

It's rather funny to see you talk that way about new nations.
