The United Earth Directorate, known to it's members as The Directorate, is an organization in the works since May 1st or 2009. The alliance officially started on the 1st of June, and now is known to you on this day, the 14th of June, as an official power. Currently consisting of 19 members, the alliance is growing steadily and is expected to house 100 members by the end of July. The Directorate strives to create bonds with other alliances and sell technology in the aftermath of the Karma war.
Protected by Ragnablock following the meetings which occurred on the 13th of June, the alliance celebrates "Drinking Day" on the 13th of every month... Our national holiday celebrating victory, drinking, and peace away from the politics surrounding the C.N. universe.

The government consists of 6 official positions:
The Czar: The Czar is the brave leader and visionary founder of U.E.D. He maintains total control over the alliance.
The Peoples Representative: The P.R. is second in charge of U.E.D. and is the liaison between the People and the Government. The P.R. will assume command of U.E.D. if The Czar is absent and shall keep the U.E.D. on track with its mission until The Czar returns.
Minister of Foreign Affairs: The M.F.A. is charged with creating treaties and taking care of U.E.D.'s public image as well as diplomatic relations with other alliances.
Minister of Internal Affairs: The M.I.A. is charged with keeping the U.E.D. a squeaky clean machine and is in charge of organizing trade circles, aid, and recruitment.
Minister of Intelligence: The M.I. is in charge of keeping the U.E.D. up to date on current affairs and to alert the alliance of things concerning the security of the U.E.D.
Minister of The Armed Forces: The M.A.F. is charged with leading the development and organization of U.E.D.'s military.
Application Procedure
Anyone wishing to apply into the U.E.D. must change their A.A. to "United Earth Directorate" and complete the following procedure by creating a new thread here. Please read the rest of this topic before you begin your application.
1. Register for an account in this forum using the same name you used on C.N.
2. The name of your thread here should be "YOUR NAME's Application".
3. In your thread please fill out the following information:
Nation's Ruler - Must be the same as your forum name.
Nation's Name - Your nations name.
Nation's Link - A direct link to your nation.
Nation's Strength - The strength of your nation.
National Resources - Your two base resources.
Nation's Team Color - The team color you're currently using.
Past Alliances - Write N/A if you never were in an alliance.
Recruiters Name - Who recruited you?
4. After you apply a member of our government will ask you several questions before the process is complete.
Laws of the United Earth Directorate
1. All members of United Earth Directorate shall keep their alliance affiliation as United Earth Directorate.
2. No member of the United Earth Directorate shall retain membership with any other alliance.
3. No member of United Earth Directorate shall spy on any alliance or pass classified information to any alliance or third party.
4. All members of The United Earth Directorate shall follow the Cyber Nations rules in game and in the CN forums.
5. Under no circumstances will the U.E.D. ever disband as long as the game exists, and under no circumstances will the U.E.D. ever merge under another alliance.
6. a. Under no circumstances will a nation of the U.E.D. declare war without the proper authorization of the leadership.
6. b. Should you be attacked by another nation, you will report this to the command as soon as possible, and you will not retaliate or declare peace without the proper authorization.
7. In the declared absence of the leader, The Peoples Representative will have full power over the U.E.D., with the exception of:
a. Changing the laws of the U.E.D.
b. Changing the ministers of the U.E.D.
c. Declaring a war unless a vote is made with 75% in favor.
8. Should a minister, diplomat, or any other individual in government decide to quit, he will provide a 2 week notice of his resignation where a council will vote over a new successor should the leader be away.
9. Roofus, creator of the U.E.D., maintains all rights and authorities over the organization and development of the alliance.
