Am I a terrible poster? I'm led to believe such by various people on this forum, and considering my master Archon is not readily available to decipher these various comments into a cohesive thoughts into and further a party line...I, uh...I don't know what to think!

Help me, an average Mushroom Stooge at finding a shred of truth in this dishonest, cruel, world that my hands helped create. I fear to, that due to this that I may soon be stricken with an affliction known as "lulz" or so I am led to believe by this mad world. Again, I dunno!

I don't recognise many posts from you but this is a perfect example of a terrible post. There are plenty of things to point out about it ranging from the "look at me! I use a different font!" prevailing throughout to the ridiculously hyperbolic portrayal of some of the anti-MK attitudes in the Cyberverse. It would be unfair to say you're a terrible poster, but that was a terrible post and you should be ashamed.

  2. Yeah I noticed, just the explanation seemed to be that you were simply ignoring what is a pretty specifically defined word in the context of CN. To the extent where today was literally the first time I've ever heard peace mode referred to as turtling.

Whatever, on with the amusing pictures ^_^

Maybe not in a conventional 'gamer' sense, but yes...it's a form of emulating a turtle.
Turtling has a pretty specific definition in CN, even though it could be seen as quite ambiguous, turtling is pretty much solely used to describe people not rebuying soldiers to avoid ground attacks and just sending out nukes/CMs and potentially aircraft stuff.

 Poyples, Sign up so I can donkey you :v
When I get home I will. I'm warning everyone now though, the only time I'll be playing poker at 7pm server time on a Saturday will be just after I've got home from a night out ^_^

Also why do you never call anymore Hiro? :(

I'm in the same terrible timezone as nippy. Gutted, it would have been a great laugh.

Yeah what this gimp said :(

I'm obviously not on yet, since I've been at work all day. I'll install that crap when I get home from dinner tonight.

Oh people are signing up from odd time zones, I should read threads before posting. What this guy said too then.

  6. Well sure but when you throw out things like this
1. Hitting a soft target likely to get a bump and run (hit, few days later get white peace) as many here have mentioned
    2. Hitting legacy, a somewhat weaker link on the side, in hopes of knocking them out quick (i say weaker link in terms of treaties on reserve)
    3. Hitting legacy because LoSS failed to inform them of the peace talks that happened at DT got screwed over by their ally
to try and justify whatever CSN's point of view happens to be at this moment in time then you contribute far less than most. I mean your second point is just standard warfare for God's sake and if you or CSN have a problem with that I'd suggest the stick up your arse has a stick up it's arse. The other two points you made have been thoroughly debunked throughout the thread, to a point where I really don't even know why people are still bringing them up.

Legacy wasn't a soft target, it was the target causing LoSS the most damage. That is why LoSS requested DT active their treaty to hit Legacy and not CSN. Legacy hurts more, and judging by some of the reports of CSN warchests that have floated about I'm really not surprised. As for your peace argument, Coloradia has already pointed out how ludicrous it is to suggest that because LoSS had been offered peace and informed CSN they had no intentions of peacing out yet, that they are somehow wrong for escalating the war. DT was well informed that LoSS had no intentions of accepting peace whilst TIO remained in the war.

I am not saying anything of the sort. I am pointing out that when you are on the losing side of a war, all your actions are scrutinized by the alliances you are facing, and they will reply accordingly. CSN views DT's actions as either cowardly or opportunistic, thus they are replying to their views accordingly. There is no grand scheme or hidden message in my posts.
Well that's great, we all realised by now that CSN holds some pretty stupid, and some other objectively false, views regarding DT's actions. What exactly are you adding to this discussion?

  8. Well, Boortz is the first person to declare on me with a lower NS than me and he's outnumbered in the tech department almost 9:1. Dude clearly has giant balls of steel and it's enough to make me forgive him for stealing my last slot when I wanted to play with someone other than VE for once :v:

For me it would have to either be ^this or when Daggarz + someone else out of Nemesis Govt. (Well I think it was them), pranked Ezequiel. That was pretty hilarious.
Oh God yeah, I think it was Randy (now in LoSS) who did it with him.

There have been too many hilarious moments for me to choose one, most of them already mentioned in here, but I'd like further info on some of these that can't be elaborated on if anyone cares to provide it in any medium ^_^

A lesser known one (for obvious reasons) is the thread that ensued on OTF Alliance's spam boards when one of our members started a thread about how and why he was afraid of his own penis.

    LOL, Aurora Borealis.

Aren't you and yours the same scum who tried to coup our fellow SuperFriend, Monos Archein?
They're also another alliance big bad Xiph threatened to disband. They're looking alive and kicking to me.

I believe it's in reference to the "joke" Kronos and others played on Valhalla while treatied to them. The one where SF was going to roll Valhalla for spying, causing Valhalla to go to peace mode.
Yeah which I don't really get. CSN can only dream of achieving half of that level of supreme military coordination. The only new thing I've learnt from this thread is that Liz is not very funny and evidently from the logs an incredibly classy girl.

  12.
Poyples, you know I can't stand people that talk !@#$ and don't back up their words. This isn't new.
Well he's in peace mode because he's been told to be there by his higher ups as part of their strategy. Whether that strategy is going to overcome the numbers disadvantage they have or not (hint: it won't) is mostly irrelevant. Will his words have more meaning when it's his turn to join the fray? He'll be saying the same things, they'll be just as true/false as they are now, so I guess I don't see the reason for ignoring them because it's not his turn to fight yet.

I, of course, will apologise to you if it turns out he has no intention of backing up his words and stays out of harm's reach for the entire war, but I'm doubting that's the case. There'll be plenty of time for him to back up his words the way this war is going.

  13. So CSN shouldn't agree to reduce the reps because it will set a precedent that calling out alliances for their pathetic levels of greed and their determination to hand out a disgusting punishment because of actions that almost nobody outside of their group of allies, perceives as wrong or opportunistic. In fact even some people within said group are refusing to toe that line and wonder where CSN has dreamed up this injustice from.

Yet we should let CSN set the precedent that levying immense punitive reps, that are practically unpayable due to the petty restrictions CSN insists on, on an alliance that is barely even a peripheral part of the war instead. Yeah that sounds like a much better road to go down, fantastic idea NoFish. Listen to that man DT.

  14.
Also not sure why 40k is being thrown out as the final bill. Have you even tried negotiating? Or are you just stomping your feet demanding that YOU be allowed to WRITE YOUR OWN surrender terms?
Because 40k tech is what was demanded. MK learnt the hard way that "but you were supposed to negotiate!" doesn't fly. Clearly CSN is a bit slow in learning it's lessons though.

  15.
Not trying to be a smart ass here or anything but how did DT just following a treaty? If I'm not mistaken they enacted an ODP to hit a closed off portion of the war to maximize damage without getting any other people on them. Pretty much what \m/ did. If so, I can live with the fact that DT should pay reps (not a crippling amount mind you). Even though iFOK has an unwritten rule of asking no-reps.
So they were deployed, using a valid treaty, where they would have maximum effect? Holy !@#$, make them disband!

  16.
No there isn't at all, where has anyone said that?

If you read my post, and I know you did (:v:), I think that explains why I think those people were in peacemode and unable to come out. It wasn't for a third wave and if it was, then for a start they might've told us that and secondly, they might as well have declared two days ago when they could come out as the only people who got anymore than two days action were nations 30kish & under.

What advantage do you gain when an alliance are pounding on your allies by declaring war but not actually hitting them because your entire middle & upper tier are in peacemode? Unless it's a tactic employed by everyone on that front, which I can assure you it wasn't.
Well there were several posts intimating that they were informed this would be a long war and if they were told it was going to end this quickly they would have entered on another front instead. Regardless, the nations could come out of peace mode within 2 days of them declaring war if I recall rightly? Given that they were unsure of where they would end up it makes sense to have both situations covered right? Not only that but regardless of whether you are the 'second wave' or not, it is always advantageous to have nations ready to declare after the first lot of anarchies against any counters or targets that are proving particularly difficult.

To claim it's not tactically astute to have a reserve force when you're expecting a long term war is borderline retarded Mayz. Unlike all of the 'lol get ur name taken off the peace then' posts which are literally retarded.
