    In this world, it is never wise to be without friends. The greatest treasure of the Republic of Aquisgrana is found in our friends, who have shown us unfailing kindness and support, shared with us their wise counsel, and upon whom we know we can rely through all.

    Of these friends, few are on the level of those in Nordreich. We in the Republic of Aquisgrana are pleased to count Nordreich as our friends: this is a place where we are always welcome, and treated as friends, despite obstacles of a shared history.

    As such, it is our honor and great pleasure to announce to Planet Bob the following:

    Nordreich - Republic of Aquisgrana Friendship Pact

    Preamble

    The leadership of Nordreich and the Republic of Aquisgrana, having been on very friendly terms with one another since Nordreich's Declaration of Existence, hereby voluntarily enter into this Friendship Pact on behalf of their respective alliances.

    Peace

    Neither alliance shall engage in any kind of hostile action against the other. Hostile actions include, but are not limited to, military attacks, all forms of espionage (in-game or otherwise), IRC impersonation and the provision of aid to enemies of the other signatory.

    In the event that a violation of this provision should occur, the parties agree to work toward resolving the matter through private diplomatic channels.

    Intelligence

    Both parties agree that if they are made aware of information that directly affects the security of the other signatory, they shall share said information in order to promote their common security.

    Aid

    In the interests of mutual economic development, the signatories agree to give each other "preferred status" with regard to tech deals. NoR and RoA's Economics Ministers shall meet at the first available opportunity to work out details of any such arrangement, but this shall not prevent individual members from engaging in ad hoc tech sales with members of the other signatory.

    Both parties agree to consider all monetary and other aid requests from the other signatory.

    Defense

    Nordreich recognizes that primary responsibility for the defense of the Republic of Aquisgrana rests with Nueva Vida, RoA's protector.

    Notwithstanding the "Non-Chaining" provision or Nordreich's Mutual Defense Pact with Nueva Vida, Nordreich unilaterally declares that any military attack against the Republic of Aquisgrana shall be viewed as an attack upon the Reich itself.

    Cancellation

    This Friendship Pact shall remain in effect until further notice. Either party may cancel this agreement, for any reason. Notice of cancellation shall be delivered in person, Upon cancellation, its provisions relating to Peace, Intelligence and Defense shall remain in effect for a period of seventy-two (72) hours.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a new nation. There are some pretty great benefits when joining a smaller alliance. Aside from the huge opportunities for advancement and growth within the alliance, you will not have to shout over hundreds of people to make your voice heard. This is your chance to get in on the ground floor and really shape your alliance into what you want it to be.

    No worries, I completely understand your frustration. Building a new alliance is a huge commitment and it does not happen overnight. Please, next time vent to me. I would be more than happy to listen and try to help you brainstorm a bit. Believe it or not, TKP's growth is in the best interest of both parties. We would like nothing more than to see you succeed.
