    If you say so Im sure your more in touch with how my leaders are opperating than I am.  Point is instead of negotiation it seems as if it was a roll over.  The cost to keep just Umbrella at war wouldnt have been sever there were more than enough nations to rotate in and out on just DH.  Instead of thumping your chest be thankfull to your allies as they could have walked anytime via white peace afaik.  Some of them took quite a beating as well. CnG and VE both took signicant damage to save DH pixels. (I wouldnt have expected any less from most of those and was pleasantly surprised by ODN and VE.  A tip of my cap to all especially the last two.)  My assesment of why it happened I would bet is much closer to the truth than yours is.  Do not be so delusional that at least AI had the resolve to continue this on for a much longer period and it would have cost you more than us.  The price on both sides would be high but never the less it was a bill many of us were willing to pay.

    Guess not willing enough to, you know, actually do it.
    It doesn't matter why your leadership tells you they didn't impose reps on umb, it was not an option available to them.

    As for our allies, why would you even say that? What, you think we're dumb pricks that appreciate our allies less than your side? Did your alliance accomplish whatever you think you accomplished all by yourself? Does your side have a monopoly on friendship? Why even bring that up?

    bhane you want to know why it wasnt done.  Great Propoganda from CO.   OH MY it will be the return of Q era reps and terms.   Leadership apparently hopes this will be remembered in future wars whether they are right or wrong only time will tell.  Me personally I didnt want reps they are too much of a hassle how ever i did want some basic terms to restrict the rebuilding time for MK Umbrella TOP.  It would have allowed for EQ AAs to at least get a jump over the mid and lower tiers.  Nothing to harsh as a matter of fact it was called lenient when it was laid upon Valhalla.  No outside aid for 30 or 60 days.  Easy to maintain easy to watch and truly only stunts growth long enough for us to rebuild enough to equal things out. 

     

    While those are all good reasons to not impose reps, they are not the actual reason.  When it boils down to it, Umbrella would not have agreed to reps.  Any claim otherwise is bull.  No outside aid?  Maybe, though very unlikely.  The only sure available "term" EQ could've imposed on Umbrella would be more war, and that comes at a big cost.

    Considering TSO was formed from the high gov of MCXA who were dirty as hell I wouldnt talk to loud.

    The delusion is that you all believe we couldnt have kept it up.  We could have at great cost but we would have left a big enough hole that all your top nations would be able to do is bank as there would be no one in their range for a very long time.  The chest thumping on both sides is ridiculous.  Personally I think this peace was a mistake at this point as Com now has a very stron hold on upper tier and we at EQ did not damage enough of the upper middle and middle tiers to maintain dominance here. 
     


    Where did I say that EQ couldn't keep it up? Why didn't they though? You yourself admit it's a mistake. EQ accomplished nothing other than some empty admission of surrender. I don't get how anyone can be happy and boastful about that.

    Am I the only one not amused by Ubuntu's shtick?

     

    Anyone claiming that this is a victory by Equilibrium is being delusional.  No one would ever give up war without any terms if they thought they could achieve a decisive victory.  Especially with as much insolence as the Competence side is displaying.  Does anyone actually believe that Eq thinks DH learned their lesson and whatever threat they posed has been eliminated? And Eq are so gracious that they granting unilateral white peace with no reps out of the goodness of their heart?  If you think this is true you're beyond delusional.  

    The only reason there's peace is because Eq leaders realize that this war is a boondoggle.  Claiming that you won anything is like the U.S. claiming victory in Vietnam.

    I'm pretty sure we have several former upper tier nations with very large warchests, the upper tier will be rebuilt.


    Until you get peace those rebuilt nations will get knocked down again and again. I don't think you have enough nations to be competitive in the upper tier. And there's also a tech gap.

    I don't think NS is the best way to judge this, but looking at NS no it's not similar amount of damage. 

     

    If I have ten apples and someone takes one away, that really sucks.  But it doesn't suck nearly as much as if someone had three apples and someone took one away.  Now I think your side's doing much better than that (and your NS losses will slow as infra dries up); but in terms of what these charts are looking at, it is not.  It's not hard to figure out who would run out of apples first if things continued unchanged (they won't).

    Except that it's not just apples, it's also oranges and those are harder to get since (let's assume)  they're out of season... and also the fruit prices rise exponentially based on how many you have already bought ..... actually this apples analogy sucks.

    We have been more then clear about our grievances. They are well documented. I wouldn't say we were dicks to you, if not for anything else then for the simple fact we couldn't even if we wanted to, but coupled with the fact you didn't listed one incident caused by us in this relationship.

     

    Yes, oh we have a grudge but it literally has nothing to do with "karma". As I already painfully clearly put it, we have allies that were on the other side in that war. Why would we be picking specifically you to held on a grudge from that time and not all the rest. You weren't our arch enemy from that time, not the primal instigator, not the main player, MK was. There is nothing special why we would hold a special grudge against you over "karma", while with others trying to mend things and moving forward. It makes no sense, even as a propaganda talking point when standards are naturally low.

     

    This war was started by an incident involving AI and you. Not us and you. This is not an NPO started war. We are not the only ones pointing out your behavior towards others and ultimately taking a stand.

     

    But as said, lets go back to talking about numbers and shooting at stuff.

    Care to point out some specific grievances since you have them well documented?  Of course NPO and Umbrella weren't the only alliances in Karma.  I figure you want to beat down MK just as much as Umbrella.  Umbrella is important as a symbol though, because it represents what our side has that yours has been denied, and what this thread is about - the upper tier.  Exclusive, untouchable, unbeatable.   You would love so much to put a dent in that, to give your side hope.

    There's a huge piece of the puzzle that a lot of people seem to missing - NS is not all equal.  It's a lot less expensive to rebuild low and mid tier nations.  It also takes a long time to buy tech.  A 100k NS nation is worth a lot more than 2 50k nations.  If it were possible to put a monetary and time value on rebuilding the losses, I would bet the numbers would look even better for the Competence side.

    Of course that NPO can not hurt you without massive help. You made sure of that in the DH-NPO war when what was left of our top tier after "karma" war was obliterated. We weren't allowed to have a top tier for years after "karma". We were arrogant, brutal with our power. Careless and not emphatic. We paid for that in two brutal wars. Massive reps, massive wars of destruction came upon us as a result of our politics. So no upper tier, cost to pay for being dicks.

     

    But you see, time passes. Years. NPOs roster changed dramatically. NPO changed how it operates as well. NPO is many things, but being full retard aint one. Unacceptability and harmfulness of our previous politics made clear to us. There is no fucking chance in hell we could possibly do that again. Not only us, but anyone really. World changed, politics are different. You fallow, change or die off. You dont keep to exist for 7 plus years by not learning.

     

    We dont resent you over "karma". That is a deeply foolish notion. You see, many of our allies were on the "karmic side". We moved on with ourselves. Lesson learned, and learned well.

     

    No, we dont like you do to you being dicks to us. Ultimately, it seems its you who didnt moved passed "karma", and are stuck up in things years ago. You act like arrogant dicks and pissed off a lot of folks. Hence, alliances that DoWed you. Its not only us. Far from it. NPO and its mid tier is here to chew on anything that falls into our range. We take great satisfaction in doing it. Our goal is not to destroy you, that is impossible and just stupid in general. Alliances destroy themselves, never are they destroyed from outside. Also, we dont need less people and alliances, but more.

     

    You can feel free to try to rationalize why you pissed off many people with your antics with "karma" and whatnot. But world moved on. So did you. This propaganda is pointless, issues here are recent not "pre karmic", they dont have anything to do with it.

     

     

    What have we done that's so terrible?  Your alliance has always been dicks to us too.  You clearly harbor a grudge against us and you can deny that it doesn't stem from Karma all you want, no one is buying it.  Don't act like attacking us was not your intention for years no matter what we do.

    Is this the root of Umbrella's hatred of NPO?  Viceroys and forced disbandment?  NPO has not done this since I became a member close to 4 years now.

     

    You need new material or you need to get out of that cocoon you have been living in.

     

    You're the ones that attacked us.  You are the ones acting on old grudges.  How about you come up with some better material than "umbrella are being dicks to us"?

    Your problem is you can't hurt Umbrella.  We're out of your range.  We'll rebuild a lot faster than you side too. 

    You can't destroy us.  You can't make us fear or respect you.  We are always going to be a thorn in your side because we remember what NPO is like at the top.  Karma changed the world.  No longer will you be able to install viceroys or demand ridiculous reparations or force alliances to disband.  You'll always be a shell of what you once were.  You will always be bitter and nasty and hate us for it.  Maybe one day you'll learn to deal with it.

    Anyone who says FAN has stockholm syndrome LOLOLOLOLOL. So TOP makes a choice and its just friendship but no one else can do that. Anyone who thinks FAN does anything FAN doesnt want to do or doesnt believe in is an idiot to the nth degree. Mr Smythe i remember that pic well. Wood on and behind the screen. Great rolling with you guys this round glad we can finally fight side by side.

     

    TOP and MK fought a war and settled things with a mutual peace agreement.  FAN got released from permawar only because NPO got rolled.  TOP and MK is on equal footing politically and militarily and have a lot of common friends and common enemies.  Not even close to being the same thing.
