TS, is it really such an inconvenience for you to receive a stock message? stock messages are stock for a reason, they list the selling points and benefits of joining the alliance. considering that for every 100 messages you send out, youll get 4 or 5 responses, its simply not worth the time or effort to personalize every message. want to know how you can get a personalized message? respond to a stock message. then a recruiter will take the time to talk with you and answer any questions you have.

[/quote] so you are claiming to be a wizard then, yes? large and nations may be paying the same NOW, but they weren't paying the same 4 months ago. you seem to be completely disregarding any past tech purchases a buyer has already made. i currently have 5 3mill/100tech deals and have done deals for the same rate since i have began to buy tech. you will never catch up to me buying tech at 3mill/50tech because i will continue to buy tech and you will never be able to overcome the base of tech ive already purchased at a cheaper price than you are paying. its simple math man. the alliance selling tech for 3mill/100tech will win. their mid & superpower nations will have more tech than the alliance doing 3mill/50tech deals. weak nations are fairly inconsequential in the grand scheme of wars.

even though this topic has been argued extensively before: tbh, i can spare the money to afford 3mill/50tech deals. its quite a bit less than a day's daily collections for me and i have a nice base of tech built already. but you know who wont be able to afford it? you, when you begin purchasing tech. because you are decreasing the amount of tech you are able to purchase with your aid slots, you will be always be playing catch up to larger nations. you will not be able to build your tech as quickly or as effectively as current tech buyers because you demanded more money for your tech while selling. now when it comes to war, you will always have less tech than current buyers and they will always have the advantage. furthermore, when you first get to 3999 infra and begin purchasing tech, it is a serious strain on your nation to balance tech deals, saving for a wonder, purchasing infra, and maintaining a warchest. i found that during that time when i first began buying tech and saving for wonders, i could only carry 2 or 3 tech deals to keep from stagnating the growth of my nation in other areas. when you are getting half the tech for your investment that i did...well good luck with that.

youre arguing in-charecter politics with out-of-charecter suggestions. its like suggesting that poor ethiopians look for farmers on venus to supply them with enough corn to feed their families. i dont really get why all the sellers would want to have 3mill/50tech become the norm. sure, you make more money now and grow faster now, but you are only shooting yourself in the foot for later. once it comes time for you to start purchasing tech yourself, it will take you 25% longer (only in terms of aid slots, not taking into account fiscal numbers) to build tech than what it took nations older than yourself. so once your alliance goes to war, you are at a significant disadvantage to any nation older than yourself on the basis that you'll statistically always have less tech. in addition, the increased cost of tech will slow how much infra your nation is able to buy. therefore it is greedy for the sellers to want 3mill/50tech deals because they want more money now at the expense of their nations later.
