    I would hope that all of IRON are at least somewhat aware of how even the technically impressive feats achieved are a sour mark. IRON has not been in a losing conflict for almost a decade -- and not for a lack of allies in need of help.

    In fact, I was told by NPO government even well-after MK disbanded that NG were a steadfast and needed ally.

    I am not loading my question with any implication or innuendo, I'm just trying to understand if this part of the discussion is about nomenclature or what.

    Even under the traditional "rules" of what constituted an alliance used by tech raiders, Non Grata would have only failed one term -- and that's because I'm assuming they don't have any treaties. They very well may have a stock of treaties. 

     

    I think it's just a very risky precedent to allow a couple of allianced with over 200 members each to dictate who counts... Particularly in a world where there are only a handful of alliances with more members than NG.
