Oh, there is. I suspect I would/will get some kind of punishment for breaking the gag order.
I just believed it would be best to address this situation.

In this particular matter, of Bilrow's post, it was unacceptable. I would expect something more from a respected leader in Cybernations.

If anyone honestly thinks that is Valid in that picture I lol at you.
Its not a case of "LOL YOU HAVE THIS". Which was what most people were getting worked up about in the UJP war - this is an obvious joke; during the UJP war they were certainly not jokes.
It just seems very close to a double standard for Bilrow. Can't have it both ways.

lol how do you people find the picture Bilrow posted offensive? I find it quite funny to be honest. I mean its obviously not him, but if it is.... wow, I defently don't want him leading my alliance.
I don't. I believe its very childish for a leader of an alliance to post such content.

I thought Bilrow was against Personal Attacks. I'm not a big fan of Valid, either, but that does not mean I personally attack him.
Ad hominem arguments are a logical fallacy, sir, and you know it.
Also, a log of the events was kept, so if you desire to see what caused the temporary closure of the channel, please speak to me and I can qcquire fir you if you really need to see it.

I will say, that I am in favor of Valid leaving office, however, lighti, this is a completely stupid thread.
GPA Members were usually regarded as intelligent, this is not intelligent.
Either make an intelligent thread on OWF (such as Great Dzar) , or don't post at all.

I was not aware that LSF was not under attack by NoV and others at that time. I have not been following CN politics that closely since last month.

When seeing the evidence on the LSF situation, I was initally in favor of the actions of the government, however, when it became apparent that LSF could not pay, the refusal of our government to renegotiate for more reasonable terms is quite troublesome.
While I have held nothing against Valid, indeed he has been a great person to work under and with, I think it time for a rethinking of our progress in this situation, and especially with Valid as president. With the resignation of our MoIA, the time is near for change.
As immediate-past MoIA, I will admit that I did make some errors of judgment, especially regarding the IRON situation. IRON initially contacted me with the information last month, and I was slow in getting the ball rolling on the situation. For that I publically apologize to IRON's government, for the explosion of what have should been an internal matter into a very public one.
It nigh time for a change here in GPA, or at the very least a reconsideraton of the direction we are headed.

The GPA has become exactly the opposite of what it was supposed to be. This is disheartening, and whats worse is; in the old days, those of us who didn't agree with the GPA's "image", left...out of respect of the members, and the ideals we founded in CN. By making this announcement, you've thrown everything out the window and exposed yourselves. I hope that one day you'll regret that decision, and I hope that I'll have a hand in it.

can you explain how we've "thrown everything out of the window"? One of the four founding principles of the GPA sovereignty, is it not? Spying is a direct violation of our sovereignty, and thus I see the reparations as fair. The GPA is willing to give the LSF a chance to resolve this by diplomacy, and many in the GPA would rather have peace than war. If it comes to be, we will as our president said, be patient for LSF.

Interesting...so there is "neutral" drama going on behind close doors. Imagine that.
Our policy has always been that members are able to express their opinions in the appropriate area. Every alliance has its internal drama, I can imagine that not every GGA member agrees with everything that is said on the GGA forums. Forums are an area to express opinions, for that is one reason we have opinions in the first place.
Opinions that our members hold are their own. The alliance's policy has been neutrality. There is a difference between policy and opinion.
However, we are straying offtopic.
I think it is unfortunate that TPF decided that this action was needed. I hope for a bettering of our relations in the future.

My only regret is TPF jumped into these waters without seeing how deep they were. To see GPA complain about people canceling it. It's my understanding from a TPF official that GPA has no ambassador on TPF forums. How is TPF to know this a fluke? It could be the start of a change in GPA for the worse. I'll say this with no relations with GPA on TPF forums and the political struggles GPA has undergone lately I myself can't see a reason to keep the DoN. Lets face it, GPA without political triumphs has nothing to stand on as they don't war they are politics and nothing more or less. They are self proclaimed "neutral."
The Agency at its core upholds its core principles. Closely related to the four core principles are the idea of a peaceful alliance. The GPA is known for its peaceful nature. Diplomacy is one of the key tools we use to remain amicable to all alliances.
The GPA holds sovereignty as a core ideal of the alliance, and in part does not interfere with other alliances' sovereignty. The GPA has not changed in its diplomatic policy in dealing with other alliances and respects each alliances right to exist as a sovereign entity, thus our position of neutrality. Your assertion that GPA "changing" in its stance towards other is false.
The reason I am GPA and stay as a member of GPA is because of the founding ideology of GPA, and that it still adheres to it today. If that has changed, I would be the first one to say, "That is not right." I have not found that to be the case, and that is why I am a member.
If you would like to learn more about our alliance, I encourage you to visit our forums and chat with our members. Increasing understanding by all parties involved, I found has always been beneficial.

Seems pretty obvious, if they are refering to the aid found by Bob Janova in eitheir this thread or another thread. Aiding the leader on an Enemy alliance for 3 Mil and 50 tech shouldn't take >10 days to investigate.
I and the cabinet was only made aware of it two days ago, during the other situation we were dealing with this weekend.
IRON said that had came before to mention it to GPA, however, when DarkMistress spoke to me early Sunday, it was the first I had heard of it.

The investigation began as soon as I was notified of it by Shan and DarkMistress.

To clarify, the nation gave aid to another nation who's alliance IRON was at war with. That particular nation was not at war when the aid was given.
Per the GPA's charter, that is not an auto-kick offense, however, his intent in giving the aid was in question. Thus, that nation is now on trial.
