I must say that I'm greatly saddened by this thread, not by the announcement, but by the infantile bickering on all sides. All it has done is cast aspersions on the alliance (both old and new) and members that I once held in high esteem. It doesn't matter who is right or wrong at this point. No one is coming out of this thread the bigger man.

It is a gross presumption to call the new CIS an abomination of any kind. They have barely existed. And it is further unjust to cast the alliance in a negative light simply because two of its leaders failed the alliance when it needed them TWO years ago. GWII ended only a couple months before I joined the original CIS so for the brief time that I remember KasMage and Zocane in the alliance I was not aware of their faults as leaders. However, even though they may have failed the CIS in the past, I am a firm believer that time changes people. All my life I've been watching people change. It's not always for the best but sometimes it is. Therefore, I think it is best to withhold judgment on Zocane, KasMage and the new CIS until they have been given the chance to prove themselves. I will be watching with interest and hope. I pray they will not disappoint.

When this war started I figured that the CIS had to come back at some point. I'm glad to see my first alliance back in action again.
