  1. Honourable: MK

    Immoral: PC

Amoral: FAN (in the true sense of the word- most people here don't seem to know what 'amoral' means)

    Isolated: FAN

    Entangled: FOK

    Powerful: MK/TOP

Incompetent: Most of the destroyed alliances.

    Nice: ODN

    Mean: NPO

    Friend: C&G

    Enemy: N/A

    Respected: NpO

Annoying: STA and other small alliances who make big announcements.

  2. Read: Your avatar.

You're so grossly inaccurate, I don't know where to begin. Oh!; maybe we can start here:

You act as if IRON was using ODN as a pawn. You act as if IRON was absolutely not willing to defend ODN if the going got tough. Hell, we considered you such a close of an ally, we gave you suggestions as what to change and tweak to make ODN a more effective force in Cybernations.

We were absolutely interested on keeping our relations on the incline. We opened up our forums, invited over your government, and had a large "Q&A" with the ODN. We asked you boys questions, you gave us an answer. I even believe you did the same with IRON. Reason for such a thing? To improve our relations if there was any room for improvement. Brother-alliance is as high as it could get, yet ODN kept suckling up to IRON, to which IRON replied back by giving you our breast.

Yet, I find it rather humorous how you all of a sudden, by the grace of a thunderbolt of cowardice up the stink, you react to IRON's criticizing with a "What? Huh? What are you guys talking about? That never happened!"

Honestly, you guys have hit rock bottom when it comes to reliability, honor, and trust. You cannot possibly go any lower, otherwise you would simply end up digging through the sea bed and ending up above the ground, somewhere real alliances are.

Wow, I'm sensing some real anger here. I'm rather surprised you feel this strongly. We were allies with you. We weren't best friends but we were allies. We were allies with alliances on the KARMA side. We decided we were going on the KARMA side. This was BEFORE we knew what side you would be on. (Before it looked like KARMA might win I might add)

We suspended our treaty with you. We didn't cancel because we hoped something could be salvaged at the end. We didn't declare on you. We didn't threaten you. We didn't do anything to you. Perhaps you saw us threatening "NPO and meatshields"™ as us threatening you but I feel that even you realized that NPO had been an asshat lately. What other reason could you have had for your 24 hour declaration of neutrality? Besides, if anything this just proves you choose NPO yet again over us.

You could have just gone neutral and sat this war out and then at the end we could have picked up where we left off. Even after you came in with NPO if this had been handled better we could have just shook hands and said, "see you on the other side" like we did with Legion. You guys acting like we stuck a knife in your back is very disingenuous.

  3. ODN is like half the girls I dated in high school, ODN...they'd cling, then split when the going got tough.

And yes, I likened ODN to a fickle teenage girl. :v:

There's one major difference. You never dated us! You threw us an MDP which is the equivalent of saying "lets just be friends" and then went to shack up with NPO. Eventually, we stopped trying and moved on to try and find a date who would reciprocate our affection. The only problem is your formally hot girlfriend turned out to be a skank and now half the people in the school want her dead. Now you're just pissy because you don't have us clinging to you anymore and don't really have any other prospects.

  4. I can't agree with you there, Jamacus. Total destruction of an alliance, unless it has committed gross crimes against the community as whole (such as those crossing the borders of common decency into egregious and systematic OOC attacks, for example) is a petty, small-minded act, not one we should wish to replicate. NPO has made strategic errors, has bullied, has abused its power, and so it is reaping the consequences. But it has not done anything that deserves utter annihilation.

You are quite right that forced destruction is rather harsh. I was operating on the OP's black and white responses of, forced disbandment or white peace.

That said, I don't like the point of view where, "We can't give them harsh terms because then we're as bad as they are." I say let the punishment fit the crime. It is in every KARMA alliance's best interest to make sure NPO is a non-issue by the time this war is concluded. We can do this by harsh reps, we can do this by beating them down until they are significantly hindered in their growth. Either way, I really feel no charity toward them.

  5. Shilo pretty much summed up our feelings. IRON still has a ton of support among the membership and if there was one alliance we could have been closer allies with it would have been IRON. I don't think people realize what a big deal an MADP really is to us.

Then decision time came and we had to make a choice. We realized that we would always be second rate to NPO and we decided that it would be best for us to back R&R and the other alliances in KARMA who have always treated us with much more respect.
