  1. @Prpatel05- yeah trust me I know that this is the best trade circle you can get, I have been playing TE since round 2.

It's a nice one. There are a couple other pretty solid ones too, if your resources don't fit this, though...and I don't know why I'm posting here. I'm trying to make the same circle and my resources cross up with you guys. :( I'll go back to my thread and compete for trades! :P

  2. Circle complete!

Hi. I'm making a trade circle again. Please join so I can stop paying attention to this! (I'll be checking up on the thread every hour or so today, when I can.)

  3. I'm a fan of Franziskaner Hefeweissen for wheat beers. But typically I prefer a hoppy IPA. I really prefer beer reviews that actually go into to detail and have some fun but I guess some people don't know how to enjoy themselves. <_<

Dogfish Head 60 and 90 minute ales are good. The 120 Minute Ale is just a bit much for me. I'm a real fan of Breckenridge Small Batch 471. Sam Adams Summer Ale is one of my favorite seasonals. Sam Boston Lager is one of the best mass-produced beers out there. Living in Texas I'm pretty much in love with Shiner. After leaving PA I kind of miss Yuengling, which was about the only good thing in PA. In conclusion, stay classy IRON.

Are you kidding? Off the top of my head (and I stress the lack of effort that went into this brief retort):

    East End: blackstrap.jpg

    Troegs: Nugget%20glass%20and%20bottle%20copy.jpg

    Victory: beer_sk.gifbeer_gm.gif

    I could go on.

  4. You just advertised that you have a 191 million dollar warchest, and you're unaligned, and that you're going to nuke.

    1) nukes run out quickly with SDIs

    2) Money is a strong determining factor when chosing raid targets, and you made yourself a little more appetizing, believe it or not, by advertising that.

    3) Land is what big nations are after most.. So long as they get their land, a little loss of infrastructure and tech is worth it, considering they'll soon knock you down themselves.

    Good luck either way.

    1) Most raiding nations at that range won't have SDIs. Even given the war, most people that far down either rebuilt already, or are under surrender terms. I grant the possibility, but I'd be it's not as common as you think.

    2) I don't see long term fame coming out of this, if that was the objective, but I do think he can more than hold his own and make it unprofitable for most attackers, either by turtling/nuking, or just outmilitarizing the opponent, once the "trap" is sprung. If he does get a strong attacker, the defeat alerts from turtling wouldn't bug him too much, because, as you said, it's not hard to rebuild at that size, expecially if you have a 191 million dollar warchest. ;)

    3) He has 50 land. I doubt the reward's worth the risk in that department.

I think it's a bit silly, myself, but hey, go for it if it's what you want to do with your time.

  5. xenon suggested to me that I swap the images for Uranium and Radon. Thoughts?

Well, I think it's largely a matter of taste. Insofar as most people will see the Uranium one FAR more often, I'd be inclined to leave the two as is. The radiation symbol is gonna have its time in the sun either way, and "atom molecule" is a nice looking picture that, if relegated to the lunar surface, won't get much air time. :P

  6. Look at that, CN getting all fancy and updated..

I think they all look good except gems

Wine's a distinct improvement, being actual wine now, instead of grapes. I also like the frosty mug for beer and the Mona Lisa for AP (the previous icon always seemed better suited for furs).

Glad to see our automobiles are as environmentally unfriendly as ever!

  7. So, on a somewhat different tack, I think it'd be nice to format the resource info a little differently, and break the "space" bonus resources into a third grouping beneath "Bonus Resources," just for ease of reading/comparison. Since most nations looking at the bonus resources list will not be in the financial/developmental stage to be taking these into consideration with their trade setups, it'd make a lot of sense.

  8. What does everyone think the worse starting resources is in the game?

I think I have that combo, sugar and silver.

Yeah, silver/sugar's really not that bad. Early on, you can get into a FF/construction circle (silver's decent as a hole-filler), and once you get bigger, they both bring in money in an AP circle.

  9. Obviously you don't desire peace that much.
If you truly "desired peace", you would do whatever it took. Just be honest. :)

I suspect it extremely unlikely that these posts would've shown up a week ago. Call me jaded; call me cynical; call me a realist. Perhaps NPO's peace should've been drug out until a simultaneous peace could've been made with TPF. Or NPO could've kept their gag order up on their idiots, of whom they're well past quota. (With all due respect, of course.)

Look, here's the thing. NPO knew TPF was with them until the end. They can't be shocked that TPF got terms instead of white peace. In fact, if they did think that would make a difference, they should've INSISTED that TPF take terms, or bow out, or whatever. If they kept TPF in the war for no reason beyond their own selfishness, I offer the suggestion that NPO is to blame for TPF's terms. Have fun with that one. ;)

  10. I'm glad ppl here are liking the idea.

    Storing citizens.

If you have 10,000 citizens, and build a Moon Colony, it sends 800 citizens to the moon and 'stores' them there.

You now have 10,800 citizens to collect taxes off.

In the event your nation is destroyed on earth, you can continue to collect from your Moon colony to help you out, the number at 800 stays static no matter your earth population, unless your colony is destroyed or expires.

    Some extra tweaks to this:

    1. You will be able to upgrade your colony for a fee, eg if you have a colony of 800, and then grow to 20,000 citz, you will be able to upgrade your colony to 1,600 (store more).

    2. The number of citizens you collect from on the Moon/Mars is influenced by the hot spot principal.

Aww, and I thought we were stocking the shelves with Soylent Green...

Good question. I also don't like this idea of Mars, we should petition Admin to change Mars to Digiterra, Planet Steve, Tattooine, Dune; something else, ANYTHING else really. Mars is boring. <_<

Oh, this is easy. Mars should be Digitares.
