    BFF entered negotiations and stated:

We will fight you guys for 3 rounds then peace out and you can all have at NEW.

This allows 3 rounds of war for a ton of AA's to plan out a full on gangbang. Everybody knows what's going to happen except NEW, who get's blindsided. I can't imagine BFF would go to NEW after the negotiations and be like "yo, we negotiated we will fight 3 rounds then peace out and then 6 AA's are going to attack you."

Anyways, my jimmies are rustled and I won't be posting here anymore. I fell like a kid who was just told Santa didn't exist, I truly expected better of BFF considering what I have seen it's constituent parts do for it's allies in the past. Going from FEAR and Europa going balls deep into a huge glob of NS for NEW to standing strong by Invicta and doing as much as possible to help them escape damage.

This is the same AA that in the Dave War prevented Invicta from being countered when it hit MK and most likely prevented them from taking to bad of a beating in the grudge war (can't remember, not my front)

Maybe it's not the actions that are so terrible, but that my expectations were to high.

I think you're missing the point that those alliances would be attacking NEW regardless of what happened.

BFF felt that NEW had betrayed the spirit of the treaty and had every right to cancel and waive the grace period. Every right.

I can't even think of any scenerio where it's ok to enter negotiations behind your allies back and negotiate maximum pain for them and minimum for yourself. Did you not read the logs? He literally said "after we get peace, you can all dogpile NEW", that was a point he was offering up in negotiations for an end to this crisis. He actually offered his ally up to the entirety of Bob for their amusement.

How is this not worse than cancelling?!?

How is it negotiating maximum pain for NEW? NEW aren't going to magically take less damage if BFF cancels on them outright instead of defending them. The whole point of going into negotiations was that BFF wanted to set in stone the length of their full engagement because they wanted to go in alone instead of starting a messy war neither side particularly wanted to have to deal with.

Because they apparently tried to make plans that they will not "really" fight for those 2-3 weeks. They would be declared on only by already engaged opponents and fight a nonnuclear war. While most people declared on NEW.

Except that the non nuclear thing hadn't even come up yet at that point(and was never actually ever agreed on). Also NG were already engaged?

That is the most contemptible thing I have read since 2010 my nation declared itself. Never in my life would I have thought to see you say this.

You had every right to cancel on NEW, you had no right to negotiate a deal that would see you get early peace by offering up NEW on a platter. My god man, what happened to you guys?!?!
    [/quote]

wait what, how is fighting for 2 or 3 rounds then getting peace offering NEW up on a platter versus straight up cancelling and letting NEW get rolled alone right out of the gate?

Not dissolving. But close. CnG is planning on having a civil war. Hooligans wishes to remain on our side. Which we're grateful for. That is not to say we do not fully expect ODN to attack themselves in our defense after they try to roll us. In the CnG universe nothing is ever easy.
