    Alex, I've gotta say, we need to do some talking.

    Axis is indeed protected by SNAFU at least until we have an opportunity to clear up a few points of interest to our relationship.

    I'm sure you'll be seeing an amendment to this announcement in the days ahead.

    Meanwhile, if we're buying votes, I vote black olives on all pizzas at the SNAFU Organizational picnic.

    To be fair as Joe said just before we're rebuilding after losing almost have our strength, but I don't have an issue being called a micro, we're no longer in the top 80 like we were...

    This has been the most well presented case for why you guys did what you did that I've seen (and I read way to much of these forums). The problem is that it's too little too late. You've said parts of this in the past but you've also thrown so much hyperbole into the mix that it's very hard to believe that this is the singular reality. If anywhere this statement, or one like it, had existed 3 months ago I'm sure it would have gotten much better play. However, just like an apology to FAN that comes two years after they "learned the error of their ways" strikes the chord of falseness, waiting this long to produce a streamlined treatise on the reasons for war indicates that you guys were testing out lines and this is the one you think will get you the most traction.

    And frankly, while I agree the peace mode strategy was not ideal this additional term you're imposing is going to net a loss of maybe 60-70k tech to NPO which while not small is not significant when compared to what's already lost. This is just for spite now, and that's why you're trying to polish this pig already.

    I don't have a dog in this fight other than I'm glad that Avalon is a little closer to peace, but did you just brag about having more offensive wars than anyone in a war you declared?

    Seems to me that's kinda the point.

    I'll go further and say we'd never BE in the same situation i.e. declaring a preemptive war, win or lose.

    I keep being disappointed whenever I see this thread. The subtitle upon a glance looks like "EMO END" and I keep hoping it means Doomhouse is going to quite crying about how mean NPO used to be to them but they just keep letting me down. They're also now claiming not only was the NPO mean to us in the past, they might be mean to us again! LOL

    The OP doesn't actually say that but I'll go along with your assumption that it would be worked into the terms. It doesn't change the fact that based on that assumption it only applies to 3 out of 5 of the alliances engaged against NPO. The OP claims that NPO has but to acquiesce to this term and they will be at peace when it doesn't state that at all.

    I'm not an ally of NPO, so clearly it's not about my alliance, it's just a thinly veiled attempt at splitting those who are their allies away from them.

    If Doomhouse and friends want to end this, they'll put an offer on the table that at least includes everyone involved, whether it's reasonable or not, or it's a waste of electrons to post it.
