So we both can be ruthless in different ways, but I expect a leader to fight. While Saphyre & Lurunin setting an example to fight fearlessly is how a leader should be, its not a great idea to jump in for an alliances who's leader is setting the example for everyone to try hiding the war out in peace mode if possible. Other than sabcat, their top 3 nations have been sitting in peace mode this entire time. So they have still been preserving most of their top nations.
PPO & LC hitting NpO & Non Grata wasn't going to make the war shorter, especially when SirWilliam's plan so far seems to be waiting it out in peace mode.
Oh for all that you hold dear just shut up. Commenting on people being in peace mode is so tired...and keeping fighting in a curbstomp to "win" is about as pathetic as can be. If you really still think the winner in this war is open to debate you're an idiot. You've won. Your side has the nation and NS advantage at every tier and we've been fighting for a month now. I'm content with it continuing as long as it can, it's the best war I've had in my time here but to claim that you can "ruthlessley keep fighting as long as it takes to win" is a load of garbage that's not even fit for the OWF.

From my earliest days on Bob, Valhalla has had an outsized effect on my nation and alliances. Turns out much of it was good and some bad but I always respected you guys and am saddened to see you go.

At a rate of losing half your membership and all of your gov per war, you won't have to worry about being in a coalition forum with anyone, and then you shall find true peace. Namaste.
Speaking of coalition forums, have you guys decided which triumvir will play the psychotic whinge, which will be the sycophant, and which will be AWoL this go 'round, or do you even have 3 brains left in AI to populate a triumvirate? It'll be quite difficult for just one guy to do all three.
If your target AA tries to surrender super early this time, will AI once again refuse to accept their surrender?
Only time will tell to what heights of schizophrenia you will soar.I can't speak for Ai in the past, as I've only been a member for a short time, but we'd like to offer you a spot as our Psychotic Whinge. It's a role you've been practicing for your entire CN carreer for and with that one out the way we only need to come up with two more!

There's only two positives to this war, casualties and not having to share a coalition forum with Scattenmann.

The size of the nations are the issue, it's the size of the warchests. If there was something, anything, that limited warchests then it would be feasible for a large enough coalition to pull those "God Tier" nations down one by one and wipe them out. It would take immense discipline, but it could be done.

It is my sad duty to declare the alliance of SNAFU disbanded. We've walked these halls as a group for going on five and a half years, but we've simply passed the point at which we're functioning as a legitimate alliance.
I would like to thank members past and present for your time, dedication and most importantly personalities that made our alliance what it was and that is something I will treasure for all time. The alliance affiliation SNAFU will be graciously protected by Anarchy Inc and the Sandstorm Confederacy for the foreseeable future as our membership decides what path they are going to follow.
Thank yo to all of friends and enemies that have made Planet Bob such a wonderful place for us to get our start.
Now on to the next phase!

SNAFU has reached the venerable age of 5 years young today.We have been around, not as long as some, but for a decent portion of this world's existence and we plan to be around for quite some time to come.We, along with many alliances, have had a tough time this last year in growing and attracting new blood but we retain our core membership and look forward to future in which the normal is indeed an F'd up situation. The thing that few people are commenting on is that the sum total of this change will for greater participation from players who don't want to join forums. Heck, the alliances that try that now are at an extreme disadvantage but it will help retain players in the long run, even if it costs us some inactives in the short term.

I'm very unhappy that LC wasn't allowed to finish those 3 rounds as an alliance, but all in all, a fun war.
On the way out though, I noticed that my opponents, NG'ers especially did not use the provided ash trays or coasters making significantly more cleanup required than necessary. In the future, please try and be considerate of those declaring after you.
