  1. Reading comprehension seems to escape you. You gave it a shot, though.
  2. Not really... I mean, if the executive of the first company didn't mind prosecution, sure, but am I to believe that Sparta's nothing more than a bunch of thugs? Oh, wait...
  3. Pretty sure people who don't give their two weeks don't find a bookie knocking on their door as soon as they quit. EDIT: As far as the clause about ghosts goes, I mean, if you want to fail@commas, don't let me stop you.
  4. It seriously would have allowed us to avoid this entire thread of discussion. As far as the Karma War goes, metonymy is obviously not something you're too great at, and turning on your allies and denouncing them for things you took part in is not exactly the height of honor. Edit: syntax fail
  5. I was referring more to the frantic denunciations of the tyranny and oppression of the NPO and the mildly delusional welcome given to some sort of rise of a new world order under which framework the world would never see the horror of harsh reps ever again. But /tə'meɪtoʊ/ /tə'mɑtoʊ/, you know?
  6. Wasn't your entire war effort just a glorified temper tantrum?
  7. Oh I don't know maybe it was that reference to that whole Karma war wherein you showed yourself to be hypocrites. You know, the comment you got upset about? Maybe you have a problem with metonymy and missed it. When you define "ghosts" as people who've not taken your oath without any reference to their alliance affiliation things get kind of sketchy. I mean, you could have carefully proofread your charter and been on the lookout for such infelicitous implications, and then we wouldn't be here at all. April 20 and 23 2009 were some lowpoints.
  8. I wasn't aware common decency prevented one from telling the truth. As far as throwing rocks etc., I find that a hilariously ironic piece of advice coming from Sparta.
  9. Considering how bruised and bloody you guys have left common decency and logic after the past three months, one never knows.
  10. Everyone's always looking out for their own interests. If the opportunity presented itself, would you really not consider hegemonical world domination?
  11. If all the clause is to protect your sovereignty, why didn't you say as much? What you have right there clearly reserves the right for Sparta to apply any of its rules to any nation ruler of any AA. Edit: grammar fail
  12. It seems like 5a under Membership provides for the subjugation of the entire Cyberverse to Spartan regulations. People thought the Moldavi Doctrine 1.0 was bad, and now Sparta puts out this?
  13. Thanks for your marvellously detailed extrapolations. They really added to my understanding of the situation and have so successfully persuaded me to your position that I am almost at a loss for words.
  14. Kind of an old post, and apologies if this has already been hashed out, but I have to ask: If the NPO shouldn't complain about the terms because we signed the treaty of surrender, doesn't that have some major implications about Karma's legitimacy? I mean, it's not like we signed anyone's terms for them... Just saying, you can't have your cake and eat it too.
