Love to see new faces, and love to see wanting to fight. That being said, randomly declaring wars on nations in other alliances are likely to result in you getting attacked by more of their members, and much stronger ones. My advice, stop raiding, or stick to raiding nations that aren't in an alliance.
It's been rare for a 10-day old nation to hold their own all on their own as long as I've been playing. But I would still recommend joining an alliance that teaches you how to build a nation that can fight raiders hitting their low-NS ranks and fight the occasional inter-alliance wars.

I was speaking of the longevity that we can make this war. It's funny to watch them scrambling to get more tech to avoid being dragged down into oblivion.
I like to think of it as the Happy Fun Zone.

Revised update. Both median and average are considered. Fight active people and your score will improve. Feel free to send complaints to my 🧺
Accounting for skew can't be easy. But, either way, it's fun looking over the list.
"Yeah, that one goes after anything that so much as twitches."

People who have poorer warchests are better players than people who are sat on billions because they've at least been playing the game beyond back-collecting and doing tech deals.
I thought I was doing okay.

Any way you slice it, it's hard to justify the hyperbolic claims about one side being dramatically more active than the other.
Hyperbole, like a nuclear warhead, is its own justification.

2) low tier imbalance (e.g. a nation going from 500 -> 0 tech, damage done / close to 0 would be enormous).
At the lower tiers you can also have tech dealers going from 100 tech on average, during peacetime, buying to 500 tech on the first day of a war. I'm not sure there's one way to fairly account for how individual tactics change based on NS, "taking one for the team" on a stagger, alliance vs. alliance imbalances, etc.

Also, being ready to have everything thoroughly burnt down in battle, if necessary for the defence of the alliance, has been a hard requirement for all applicants since at least 2008, anyway
Back in 2008, and for some time after, I'd say that that was a hard requirement for anyone staying on the Green trading sphere.

I should have no issue finding a competent alliance to take me into their fold.
Color me morbidly curious, but which alliances would you consider competent?

I did my best against him lol and at 18-22k range I thought that was pretty good damage.
Taking out 27% of his NS isn't bad at all. At a glance, 3k to 5k is somewhere around the median, 6k to 10k takes both nations saying "Let's dance!"

As NG have said for years...
The fun is sub 100k
If you're not worried about the casualties race, sub 30k. There's always someone willing to play.

You really believe you're 'honoring' your obligations by assisting the alliance that effectively attacked RFI with no CB, and is actively at war with RFI as we speak?
At a guess, I'd say that The Big Bad believes that treaty signatories discuss their strategies and prospects privately in back channels, not on the OWF. Entertaining or not, as third parties, our opinions have no bearing on whether obligations were satisfactorily met.
Likewise, it is not at all unique to this conflict that alliances find themselves on opposing sides from other members of a bloc they belong to. -
Going by the economy-size warchests all sides are sitting on, we might as well call this the Bank Roll.

Also....how do your improvements get sacked? 🤔
I think he's referring to losing enough infrastructure to tank population? After all, negative improvement slots can be a roadblock to improvement swapping without decommissioning something. Looking at his nation, there may be problems with whatever economics guide he's following.

Forgot about VE, never liked you and I like you even less now since the old VE would have been in this war a long time ago. How'd they manage to wake you guys up?
It has been a while, hasn't it, since VE and NG last danced. Rumor has it we were promised the good Geritol.

Update: Blanking out most of the information text allowed the nation edit to proceed. Since there had been no obscenities or anything of the sort in the previous text, and CloudFront doesn't provide information on what's being blocked for the site, I'd say that this will continue to be a sporadic problem for site users.

Posting here, because the Questions Center rules now state:
QuoteIf your question in any way relates to your nation, your question belongs in the Game Abuse section of the Moderation forum.
Report guidelines not used. At present, they read:
QuoteSorry, there is a problem
The page you requested does not existError code: 1S160/2
So, here we are with submission of a government change in nation edit ( http://www.cybernations.net/nation_edit.asp?Nation_ID=228721 ) being intercepted with:
QuoteCloudFlare Ray ID: 29c84c1243713816 • Your IP: [redacted upon move to public forum] • Performance & security by CloudFlare
My question is how am I expected to resolve this sort of third-party blocking, when there's no information, let alone an explanation, being provided to act on? It doesn't help that all questions regarding a nation are presumed to be "abuse"

Safest is having billions in WC, loaded fully on wonders and sitting in 30k or below range. The worst case scenario will take months/years to materialise I.e. running out of cash.
I think that you may be confusing "safest place" for "where the fun is". The worst case I've usually faced has been that eventually one's in-range opponents run out of cash.

Yay :)
Thanks for the war
Any time. From what I've heard, I wasn't the only Viridian who fought a good slate of MI6 folks.

Also you're fire doesn't do anything to a Targaryen. :P But yeah, i suppose you could eat one. :D
There are some cases in which size does indeed matter.
Can your dragon fire melt steel? I'm not one to brag but mine can.
Judging from observations of wartime performance collected over the past couple of years, if your young dragon can already melt steel, then his can surely vaporize said metal. If the two should ever meet, perhaps the contest will prove educational, as both would have accrued more experience and possibly greater power.
Be that as it may, by most accounts I've read here The Sandstorm Confederacy proved to be worthy allies to their friends and staunch opponents to those they've fought. As such, they deserve our congratulations on a hard-won peace, regardless of any other differences we may have.
The lads will be home by Christmas
