  1. Gonna stop reading right here and just point out that "yeah, we did it I guess" and "Yeah, we were wrong and are now going to fix it" are two different things. Most people think the latter is closer to "owning" a mistake.

Just because you've chosen to drink the kool-aid, doesn't mean our efforts don't exist. I believe that's been addressed, and addressed recently, too.

  2. I don't know why you bother, Oculus. You're just rehashing old news, things we've owned up to many times over.

It's amazing how much spin you feel you need to put on the bullshit and lies you propagate to greater Bob. We're nearing three years old, and the vast majority of her citizens have probably formed a fairly solid opinion of us, yourself included. It's pretty clear nothing we could do will make you see that we're not the boogie man, because that's clearly not your aim. You're too afraid of each other, and in a moment of desperation you've banded together against a common cause, Her Majesty's Secret Service, to prolong the day when you realize, in this grand game of king of the hill, only one of you can win. So gather your lapdogs, Oculus, and by all means, delay, delay, delay.

But hear me well, and remember this: While you're hugging your stats and eyeing each other warily, we're only here for one thing, to have fun as a community. We'll be watching when you finally implode. And we'll be laughing.

  3. It's really how most alliances should operate, alas it appears that has been lost in the past handful of years.

That's because most of the intelligent, competent leadership of Bob realized it wasn't worth the headache, and retired.

Edit: Or came to MI6. :v:

  4. "I didn't realize we were new here. Is two and a half years not long enough?"
Still new to me, and until you're singled out and rolled you're new.

"Not taking into account the fact that most of our members have been here for much much longer than that..."
Huh? Weird, they don't act like it. :P

"But yeah, thanks. When can we expect the welcome basket? Will there be peppermint bark? I do love peppermint bark."
You are receiving it now. ;)

Well then you must be new here, because this isn't our first solo rodeo, partner.

  5. Have fun, Oculus

    Welcome to Planet Bob, MI6

I didn't realize we were new here. Is two and a half years not long enough?

Not taking into account the fact that most of our members have been here for much much longer than that...

But yeah, thanks. When can we expect the welcome basket? Will there be peppermint bark? I do love peppermint bark.

  6. ^. If a spyop is really considered warfare by MI6, then why has no one fought back?

    Is this a serious question?

Because responding to a tense situation guided by an emotional knee jerk reaction is amateur, disastrous and irresponsible. I too wanted to see MI6 respond with violence in the moment, but cooler heads prevailed. They've deemed we not fight, and I will follow that directive. Government exists for a reason, and I trust them to make the sound judgments required in situations like these, rather than jump when someone else says so.

  7. And to get back on topic, the actions of MI6 in this incident reveal a lot. They'd rather whine on the OWF in the hopes that someone else will fight for them than actually fight back.

    Q: What do I wish MI6 understood?

A: The OWF is not enough.

Ahaha, you have no idea how wrong this is. You can't even fathom how much the membership chomps at the bits when even the slightest whiff of blood reach our noses.

  8.

That's an interesting interpretation of what was said.

We didn't have to do anything to ensure those FA efforts wouldn't bear fruit at the point in time I was referring to in that conversation. We've had this discussion with MI6 before on your forums, so there's nothing really new in the discussion you copy/pasted here. There was little chance of the treaties one set of alliances was pushing for  being accepted on the other end(especially given the opposition of the allies of the intended treaty target(s), which was well known and widely broadcasted) and we advocated against raising further suspicion by continuing down that route as other parties could move to countermeasures. The entire purpose was to avoid clashing between our two ally sets(heading off an arms race between them) and you are taking that to mean we were undermining one set of allies to give the other an edge.

It's not an interpretation, it's pretty black and white. You said a whole lot here, but you're not really saying anything.

You essentially cast us and TOP aside in favor of your new friends in AZTEC because they and the rest of your current ally set were the stronger choice. And that's fine, it was the smart choice, politically. I can respect that. But I can't respect your insistence on slandering us up and down despite the fact that all we ever did was try and do right by our allies, every time.

Whether any of you believe that or not isn't my concern, because at the end of the day, we know who we are. We know what we stand for. You don't have to believe we are as honorable as we claim, because we know what we've done. We've admitted to our mistakes and this past year we've made serious efforts to build some bridges with different alliances, but we won't accept the lies all of you are so fond of telling about us. I'd wager you'll wait till the end of days till you see us fold.

  9. I am confused as to why so many here insists on encroaching on our sovereignty as an alliance, and presume to tell us who is and isn't a member, or what our definition of a member of MI6 is. It seems to be a popular topic, understandably so given how much Myth has posted. But quite frankly it's none of any of your damned businesses what his status is on our AA.

    Also lol Avakael.

  10.

Maybe you are being forgetful, but I'm referring to the logs you deleted off mi6's forum (still available elsewhere), the ones you didn't want posted and afterwards said

These allegations come from those logs of you, talking to mi6 leadership and not some other alliance, and detailing your goal to get a coalition to attack DBDC/IRON/Aztec and then within 3 minutes discussing your efforts to get an Aztec and a Sengoku treaty.

The purpose of those treaty efforts was explicitly discussed as to make the war easier for mi6 in terms of direct counters only on mi6. Although as your government agreed, it would provide no help to your allies.

Such a noble alliance.  Such honor.  If it were someone else, I would be surprised by the lack of integrity even now.

Logs are easy to fake. :v:
