    Meh Just kind of stuff happens in RL aswell, too many treaties and too much warmongering. I hope for a peaceful and quick end in terms of the NpO-FIST conflict as i respect NpO alot for going out its way to extend an arm to GATO awhile ago, and The FIST guys seem like a cool bunch aswell.

    o/ to VE for doing what they need to do in light of whats going on. Peace to ALL involved

    Thanks for the kind words, Kenny and others who shared them. I appreciate the goodwill.

    So that there is no confusion, I'm really not trying to join NPO, and I'm not trying to avoid war somehow. I've been anarchied and ZI'd and everything before, and I'm sure it'll happen again. Really, I'm happy with GATO. I love GATO (as perhaps could be evidenced in the other thread). It's just that I think NPO is cool too. Loving GATO shouldn't mean that I have to hate NPO.

    I created this thread to esteem NPO but also somewhat for mental self-benefit. As a member of an alliance which suffers from NPO aggression, it could be easy to become needlessly bitter or jaded about that aggression and the attacking alliance perceived as bullying us (especially as someone who loves his alliance). NPO is at the opposite end of the battlefield, but they're also a cool alliance that achieved a lot and should be proud of its accomplishments. I would think that everyone, including GATO members like me, should be able to appreciate that. It's a mental exercise. It's an effort to stay mentally balanced and levelheaded and to be fair to the person on the other side of the computer.

    There are already a lot of needlessly negative sentiments and words regarding alliances from other players in the game. I felt bad when the other pro-GATO thread started including some NPO bashing. CN probably doesn't need that. Hence I started this one to go through the process of respecting the opponent, hoping it would somehow help to keep things reasonable.

    Take it for what it's worth from just another newbie.
