But I thought a declaration on let's say GATO is a declaration also on their treaty partners so technichly all they are doing is recognizing war not declaring on NPO.

That is what my understanding of it was.

I am new around here so I'm not exactly sure what is what.

However, in my research on political affairs in CyberNations, I have found that MDP's are this:

2 alliances sign a MDP. During that time the agreement is that if one of the alliances that sign the treaty is attacked, then the other signatory will defend them.

There is also MADPs, where if one alliances declares or gets attacked by another alliance then the other alliance that is part of the treaty will fight with the alliance they are treated to.

So does The Legion and NPO have a MADP? In my time studing I saw they had a MDP, so I'm kind of confused. Would appreciate it if someone could explain this to me.
