  1. I can't believe this. We have 22 pages worth discussion that goes no where. Only a couple posts from anyone in Genmay. Where is Genmays gov response to BotS from the OP. If negotiations are to take place I would like to see people that have some say from Genmay saying something positive to resolve the issue.

I bet you would like to see that as I imagine martyrdom for the NpO isn't looking too good for you right now.

  2. Personally, I'm waiting on a hat trick to take us all by surprise: NPO announces at the last second that it's leaving WUT and will declare neutrality in the fight due to a conflict of interest in being treatied to both NpO and GOONS. Then, on the eve of war, The GreatevilFish coups BotS and announces that they will no longer be a protectorate of NpO and instead will be paid $50 million in reps by Genmay and become their protectorate. Then peace and prosperity reign forever more.

  3. I am only a member, but I can tell you that NPO knows what its treaty obligations are, and will never break one first.

    So, stop about it.

Also NPO, as I know it as a member, makes its own decisions about what would be the "right one" so no need to tell NPO which one is the right.

Of that I have no doubt. Hence why I was directing those specific issues towards Doitzel. I know NPO is honourable and true to their word.

  4. Continue to be annoying, dodge questions, and waste your time, most likely.

Then it is clear that you are the puppet master. After all, you could end the whole situation right now seeing as how you were once honory Queen of Genmay, weren't you? I think I saw a thread to that effect at one point.

  5. Interesting point. NPO has been historically good about following its treaties. Since WUT specifically overrides the others, the only non-treaty breaking action is to follow WUT or leave the Initiative outright. Will NPO maintain it's historic record now?

Which is why I'm so confused about Doitzel's positions. The NPO has for a long time attacked alliances like Legion for supposedly breaking it's treaties and "backstabbing". I've even seen some propaganda pieces from that time with NPO members vowing never to forget. I've heard Dilber say when he was emperor that his honour was his word. If he commits himself to something, he said it would be followed to the very end.

Now an NPO member like Doitzel seems to be playing kind of fast and loose about the NPO's treaty obligations.

  6. Oh, is that the time you backstabbed the NPO and the Emperor by going back on your word?

Yeah I remember that. Good times.

Will you honour WUT and fight should Genmay ask you to (hypothetically of course, as you've stated you think this is going to die down)?

Earlier you stated that you expect everyone to ignore their treaties and just fight beside whomever they feel they have a lasting friendship with. Should I take that to mean that you will ignore treaties your alliance has signed if it comes down to that?

  7. Reading is hard ey? It has been stated several times by BoTS that they where ghosts etc.

All three of them were ghosts? And didn't BoTS show up on Genmay's door step demanding reps for a canceled trade from a Genmay ghost? BoTS expects Genmay to be responsible for the actions of its ghosts but Genmay can't expect BoTS to be responsible for the actions of theirs? Especially when we're talking about three and not just one supposed ghost.

  8. Question: After you banned the supposedly rude ambassador from Genmay (which could be true, I don't know and don't really have much of a reason to doubt you), did you approach Genmay and ask to have a new ambassador sent over? Did you try to send over your own ambassador to Genmay to work it? Was Genmay aware that their ambassador was being rude?

  9. I don't know. FAN attacked an NPO protectorate and that turned out well for them, didn't it?

FAN attacked because they wanted to roleplay D-Day, there's a chasm of difference there. And they attacked a protectorate of a WUT signatory, the treaty that some might say trumps all other treaties.

  10. Oh please. Either no one will fight each other citing conflicts of interest or everyone will fight each other citing conflicts of interest. I think there are so many treaties involved at this point that no one's going to give any of them any heed, but rather look to who they actually have lasting friendships with. Strangely familiar, isn't it?

Then perhaps we should start making a concerted effort to stop alliance leaders from signing so many pointless treaties.
