Because of your historical habit of cutting and running any time you're tired of getting bent over. <---- Fixed. And really, how unreasonable of us. I'd go into detail and relieve your apparent ignorance in the matter, but frankly it's much more amusing this way.
2.
come on now, war is for burying the hatchet through war. Not creating a new one Like I said, best of luck to all
Nothing new here.
3.
You guys must have filled out the paperwork wrong. Did you Spell Alchemy right? YOu attacking NATO does not include any backstabbing that I am aware of. You did it wrong! Plus we really could have used a 15th man!
Yes, you keep mentioning that. Glad to know we're on your mind so much.
I'm really Impressed by the conduct of NATO Members on here. No accusations of backstabbing. Ahh, I could get used to this. Good luck on the Battlefield, To everyone in NATO. o7
It is an interesting change of pace isn't it V? I agree. Seems they are a cut above some of their allies.
Well, you didn't backstab NATO, why would they accuse you of it?
There seems to be some slight... confusion here. Let me clarify. Backstab – verb (used with object), -stabbed, -stab⋅bing. To attempt to discredit (a person) by underhanded means, as innuendo, accusation, or the like. Related forms: backstabber, noun Invicta/UPN definition Backstabber – noun Any person who belonged to the alliance at one time and had the backbone to take their exceptional talent elsewhere after being shafted by their leadership, instead of continuing to follow like sheep and contribute to a political entity they no longer held any respect for.
4. Are we really going to do this here? *Kae sighs. Fine. MoonDog, I love you to death, but you're not being exactly honest or fair here, and you know it. You're right, Altheus did apologize for the past. Yesterday. He never spoke a word in the weeks after the *multiple* incidents - and to his credit has recently acknowledged that lack of communication was a problem and says he has taken efforts to fix it. Which I'm glad about. Yes, we all knew Cora was there. But to say it is our fault for having discussions in front of her is ludicrous. We had no where else to have them. She had access to all forum levels and all IRC rooms. Where were we supposed to talk, the bathroom? We had faith that our leader would not allow her in there unless she was trustworthy. I guess you're right - our mistake. As for UPN depending on us and our 'leaving them without a government'. Yes, UPN did depend on us. And even when we unanimously decided to make a change for what we believed in (which the charter says is all we need), we were shot down. Because the truth about UPN government is that it is not a democracy anywhere except on the surface. Which is fine, hey - Alchemy is definitely *not* a democracy either. But we don't claim to be. So this idea that we could change whatever we wanted because we were gov is just the kool aid you've been drinking, and not based in fact. The truth of the matter is the only person who can change UPN is it's dictator - Altheus. Who I understand has been doing exactly that - and again, good for him. But don't fill yourself with some fairy tale version about how we could have changed it but just didn't, because that would be just a convenient lie that helps you make sense of some seriously messed up events. And I might add, as you put it yourself, you have a perfectly fine government in place despite our leaving - so we hardly left you without anyone capable of doing the job. So yes. After we realized we had no ability to fix what we wanted, no say in foreign policy, no privacy on any level from outside scrutiny, and had to put out multiple fires from conversations leaked... we left. I think any reasonable person would have. There is always another side to the story. Most of you (not all, but most) at UPN have chosen to believe whatever allows you to deny any internal problems and make us out to be the bad guys. That's fine, because honestly - and obviously - we don't care. But in all reality, don't you forget - You thrived with our leaving... Look how you've grown... You're welcome.
5. Get it right Dera, you're here to put some salve on your wounds because you feel guilty about Hydra pulling out before making sure your allies were taken care of - a mistake you feel responsible for... at least that's what you said last night in our conversation. So this is really more about making you feel vindicated for your screw-ups then any 'honor' or 'defense of allies'. At least be honest about your motives. Not that I care, let's dance.
6. It's not that I forgot Locke, I have no idea where you were because I could care less. And I doubt you know enough of the situation to make any kind of judgment other than the snap one you have made here, which I suppose should not surprise me. If UPN had even *half* the leadership of MK, we might have stayed. I'd bet so would the other string of very good people UPN has been hemorrhaging for quite some time now. But I'm sure the issues were completely ours, not UPNs. That should tell you something.
7. The feeling is mutual sweetheart, you know you're one of our favorites. It's not impossible. But not probable, I'll grant you that. For instance you might trust a leader of an alliance to keep sensitive information in confidence thinking that because he's the leader he is trustworthy. That would be silly though. You also might think he'd be man enough to apologize for screwing you over, and not hide behind his woman's skirts. That would be equally silly. You're half right Locke. The only problem with this statement is that you are ill informed as to who is holding the knife. Since you have little contact with anyone in Alchemy, it's very presumptuous of you to feel like you can pass judgment knowing no facts. That's an assumption Tora, and an incorrect one. If you want to know some of the history there, I'd be glad to share it with you, as you are one of the few even worth talking to anymore on that side of the fence anymore.
8. Thank you Joe. You're awesome. Hai Naz! I see you've changed homes... again.
9. Nights like tonight offer you tremendous opportunities to learn things about the people on Planet Bob. I am thankful for that. Much love to those of you out there who remember that this is a game. <3 Screw the ones that don't. More kisses coming your way Grendel.
10. <3 Pres. You are unmatched on your sphere my friend. If that's how you feel, you are also horribly unoriginal Kn1nJa. *Kae looks for the sheep emoticon...
11. o/ Collateral Definitely some good people here. Rud, Joe.. But especially Pres. Best of luck to you all - with these people, I'm confident you'll do well.
12. I know ornery when I see it, lol. It stares back at me from the mirror every morning. I would very much like to have a friendly chat - perhaps one more productive than our last chat, which was more like two proud, stubborn bulls bucking heads. I look forward to it. I believe we have too Elfman. You were the first person that ever really talked to me in CN, and have been one of the most trustworthy people I have ever encountered in this game. I can't thank you enough for that. Always glad to have you by my side - even if you're always trying to look at my backside.
13. Awww, really Bones, in mah DoE thread? I can feel the love... That's okay - despite your opinion of me I still think highly of you, even if you are a bit ornery. Can't win 'em all.
14. Thank you everyone. Hans, Dera, SO & all of you at MK...
15. LOL. Jor, KJ, Pres... And it is a good looking cabinet there Becks, if I don't say so myself. I'm looking forward to working with everyone.
16. War <3 Kae Lee knows all... or at least a lot... or can fake it most the time, lol. B) LMAO @ retellez That's not exactly how I remember the conversation, but close enough for government work I guess.
17. I thank you as well Burning Glory. And thank you rtellez, that is kind of you to say. Our exchanges have been a lot of fun, I enjoyed them. Two quick corrections though... 1. She won't admit it, because 2. it's not true. Me, I'm Not - NIN Better song, hands down.
18. You did rtellez, and I love a good serenade... but mine was still better. And made sense. Thank you Captain B Bear. Interesting position considering your sig, which I happen to agree with.
19. Of course we know - with only 4 of us, it happens. The big difference here is most alliances let their raiders get their just desserts if they raid someone who doesn't just pony up the tech quietly. Black has stepped in and attacked a 4 person alliance (very brave) because B&B would not be quiet while you stick your fingers in our proverbial pockets and steal our tech.
20. So we're just supposed to roll over and let you raid us?
21. I'm sorry rtellez, but that's what we pass out as party favors when we're raided. And not a chance.
22. We are fun, you should come to B&B to play.
