  2. I have another suggestions: Don't buy that much tech.

    Looking at your nation you got 88 tech with less then 300 infra. No wonder you are getting raided.

    20 tech until 4999 are more then enough. That's so low nobody wants to raid you for it and you get most of the happiness bonus (after 20 it gets weaker, still a little but not enough to justify being a raid target).

    Problem solved.

    Lets also take war out.

    Resources? Improvements? All stuff where my numbers can go down! Lets take that out, too.

    Let's just all create a nation that automatically grows by itself so we can all be happy about our numbers getting bigger.

    Seriously:

    Every single browsergame focuses on raids. Ever played some other Browsergame? The are all about stealing the others roids or resources or whatever is implemented.

    Raiding in CN is such a minor part compared to almost every other browsergame in the web - and still people start whining about it. I totally don't get it.

    If you don't want to get raided join an alliance. The GPA for example is big and peaceful and is probably the best chance if you don't want to be dragged into alliance wars.

    Or - a recent development - join the red team. Then you get NPO protection even without joining an alliance.

    Whining about raids which are just normal and a part of every browsergame and which are much less common in CN then in almost every other game is ridiculous.

    Oh and if you don't like being tech raided: Fight back! The only reasons tech raids are being done is because nation rulers are pussies that roll over once attacked and never shoot back.

    Prepare a war chest, prepare your military and when somebody attacks your nation unprovoked - give em hell! Would everybody do that then there would be no tech raids at all (because then the raiding nation would lose way too much for the raid to be worth it).

    Whining while rolling over and never fighting back when attacked - rofl.

  4. The Grämlins are also doing large scale tech deals, all on a 10 day basis.

    The smallest deal we do is 600 tech (transfered on a single day every 10 days), the largest we got so far is 2000 tech (again, transfered on a single day).

    It usually works best to split it into smaller parts (either 600 or 1200 tech for one day of transfer) for easier organisation.

    Alliances interested can contact me with an ingame PM ;) But be aware that while we pay a good price we also expect good service, meaning fast tech delivery (those transfers should really work on a single day, we are very proud on our aid slot efficiency and every day delay in a tech transfer results in wasted aid slot time).

  5. 550 from the first day the feature was implemented... does it matter if you sit on 200 or on 250 million cash? no. does it matter to have maximum protection and ability to hurt your opponents if needed? maybe.

    maybe > no. be always prepared.

    also i highly doubt there will ever be an "upkeep" implemented. thats why you pay cash everytime they do an operation. that is why cou can still spy, even in bill-lock, if you have the cash to pay them.

  6. Lol. Since when do tech raiders have to check the aid slots of their targets?

    I shop at Walmart but that doesn't mean I go to war for them ...

    Darkfall raided an "unaligned" nation (alliance too small to count) and made tech/land with it. After they learned that this nation owes tech to others they offered to pay the tech that was owed. Case closed. I don't see a CB for a war here.

    But then again FFC is a sovereign alliance and can DoW on any alliance they want, with valid CB or not. Their decision.

    but the problems are... some alliances have two senate seats that lie in different spheres, most of the alliances on that list have a seat anyway, Im not that worried about it....after all, I cant see what Im doing. lol

    It's nice to see some stats but all the infro currently in your stats are also in those from UE ... it's a little redundant.

  8. there is no need to police tech raids like this. you're only going to make it worse, people will be raiding nations that are active or on vacation rather than actually quitting. let the players decide the politics of the game, do not get involved.

    the battle tech cap is a good change. no arguments here.

    the plane requirements seem absolutely ridiculous now. 1000 tech for level 9 planes? just how many people actually have 1000 tech? it will take new players months to reach that, and that's if they have a good alliance backing them and they know how to play the game. 10x is silly and overboard. 300 - 500 sounds better.

    edit: and for god's sake balance player resources. i don't know why such an integral part of every players nation has taken such a backseat to this game. people quit and reroll nations because of bad resources. fix this.

    Agreed on everything but the tech level for plans. 1000 tech for lvl9 planes is totally awesome and necessary.

    Having 9 different plans was completely useless since everybody just had lvl9 planes anyway. Now those different kinds of planes actually make sense.

    No cap for tech on battle influence is very good but I'd love to see the new formula. How does the tech influence work exactly?

    Changing the tech raid stuff for inactive nations is totally unnecessary. Now people have to raid actives.

    And balancing player resources would really very important ;)

  9. Be careful before deleting those borderwalls anyways, my env. is full with 0 border walls yet i still have 3 because they are actually proffitable at that point.

    Thanks for the advice but since my people have a average gross income of over 400$ the 3rd border wall is not profitable when the env would be maxed without it.

    Hm monarchy having a hidden env bonus all the time explains things. Too bad, I was looking forward to having less border walls ;)

    Not much changed, Monarchy still kicks ass and is better then anything else.

    About the env change: Monarchy now has a positive effect on environment.

    With the old system (no effect on env) I had full (1.00) env with 3 border walls. Now that Monarchy gives +env I should have full env with only 2 border walls, right?

    I razed one today and my env score went down one point (2.00) - which it shouldn't since Monarchy now should give +env and compensate for the loss of the border wall.

    So how does that positive / negative effect on env work?
