I will bow out here. This thread is degenerating quite a bit, which is unfortunate. Sparta has always had the respect of the Polar members that I know. Hopefully the future will allow for renewed friendships.

I understand that, but Sparta does not make decisions based on one persons judgement therefore asking such a direct question is rather pointless. The info is there.
Obviously Lavitz was given the authority to post a major treaty cancellation. I assumed that he would know the goverment's position for the treaty cancellation. I was not asking his personal opinion, but the government's position. Is it so hard to plainly give specifc reasons for this action, Sparta? If it is, then maybe the reasons weren't so good to begin with. That is what I am starting to believe...Please, anyone with the authority to give the specific reasoning behind this Spartan decision please step forward and do so.

Sparta hereby activates Article VI of The Treaty of Thermopylae with the New Polar Order.
It's regrettable that such things have to be done but Sparta no longer feels like it can keep its treaty with Polaris. We wish them the best of luck in the future.

The treaty requires that the cancellation include a legitimate reason for said cancellation. I did not notice any particular reason included. Care to end the speculation and go on record as to the exact reason(s) as to why this treaty was canceled?
