It's with great honor I present to you the MDP between The Grand Lodge of Freemasons and the Knights of Cydonia:
The Knights of Freemasons lovin treaty
Preamble:
In recognition of the growing friendship developing between the alliances of the Grand Lodge of Freemasons (GLOF) and the Knights of Cydonia (KoC), and reflecting the shared belief that friendship is a bond not taken lightly, we set forth to formalize our bond friendship with mutual cooperation and defense.
Article 1: Non Aggression
Given our bond of friendship, GLOF and KoC see all forms of aggression between our alliances as being against the spirit of friendship and this pact. All forms of in-game aggression between the members of GLOF and KoC are deemed illegal. This includes sanctions, war declarations, aiding nations at war with either alliance, and all forms of espionage, whether in-game or out.
Article 2: Friendship
Both parties agree that our friendship with each other and with the orange sphere, necessitates the continuing contact with the other alliance, in the spirit of open and friendly communications. Furthermore both parties agree to invest their time and effort to further relations between the two parties. In recognition of our friendship both parties will go the extra mile to help members of the other party develop their nation in peace and harmony.
Diplomats are encouraged to sign up and contribute on the other alliance’s forums, where it is expected they will be treated with courtesy and respect by the host alliance.
Article 3: Intelligence.
GLOF and KoC agree that, should either party be privy to information concerning the safety or standing of the other party, whether through ingame channels or by other means, they will share that information with the other alliance.
Article 4: Defense
Any act of aggression toward either party shall be considered an act of aggression toward both parties. An attack on either alliance shall be considered a legitimate causus belli to initiate a war against the attacking alliance.
Article 5: Superiority Clause
It is understood by both alliances that should this treaty ever come into conflict with the conditions of the OUT, preference will be given to the obligations under OUT.
Article 6: Termination
A breach of any of the terms listed above is grounds for this treaty’s termination, but is not required. Either party may choose to terminate this MDP for any reason. Both parties have forty-eight (48) hours after the declaration of either party’s desire for the treaty’s cancellation before this treaty will cease to be in effect. All terms within will continue up until that deadline.

Is there any standard flag sice that should be used for stuff like treaty announcements?
It would be nice if we could all agree on roughly the same flag dimensions.

Congratulations. Changing forums is always a lot of work but it gives you a chance to make it even better than before.
-
Welcome, what's going to be your acronym?
-
This is good news from us in GLOF indeed.

I was really excited when I woke up this morning and heard that we were declared on.. then I realized that all the top nations in GLOF were in peace mode. Disappointing..
EDIT: You got balls for coming through. AND our smaller nations are thankful you let them get into the fight.
Who is in peace mode?

Congratulations raasaa

The latest version as in Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1?
If that is the case, it's more than likely that it's the test version of Firefox that is the problem, not the cybernations game.
Try to instal an older and more stable version of Firefox instead.

Congratulations to us.

Congratulations friends. This is good news.

Congratulations.
Keep doing what you have been doing, the numbers looks great.

Thanks for that Count Rupert. Then I doubt that there will be any use in suggesting a guest account too then. A public guest account that everyone could use would enable people to view their nations and still keep the search bots out since it requires to log in.
Well I guess I can't have everything.
-
That is to bad then. I guess I should make a suggestion to add such a feature then.
-
Thanks for the info bigwoody, I was wondering about what had changed.
-
I was thinking about posting this in the suggestion forum, but it's really more of a question than a suggestion.
What I'm wondering is if it's possible to search for and view a nation without being loged on to CN?
The reason I want to know is beacuse it would be nice to be able to check if my nation have been attacked or offered aid while I'm away from my home computer. Since loging on to a public or semi public access point to check my nation is not an option due to the risk of geting flaged as a cheater if anyone else plays CN on the same network.

Maybe the rule should just be made simpler, like:
"Expletives are not allowed in hostile replies, mild expletives should be avoided, but can be used in friendly conversations" ?
Another thing is, do we even need this rule? I mean most people can be pretty civil if they want to. Can't we just make it so that the person that are being targeted can report the post and ask for it to be edited?

Chocolate Cookies is right, if one of the involved nations deletes the expired aid offer it disappears from both nations list. Before the bug was fixed you had to delete the expired aid offers to free up the aid slot, but now you don't need to.
It's the same with PMs, if the reciver deletes your sent PM it disappears from your out box.
