Those two alliances have actually grown quite a lot since I last checked, and so have the Grämlins, both of the Orders, the GPA (it's really a shame that we may have to resort to the TOOL curse ) and quite a few others. Well done to everyone!

Actually, we do win at something: TOOL Applicant: 3.20 When was the last time an alliance got its applicant AA out of italics?

Will Bama never learn? EDIT: Looks like his nation's still there. Who's he influenced into deleting?

That'd be an interesting race, but I think we'll need to be careful about all this, or we'll end up with as many challenge lines as there are alliances!

However, the Independent Republic of Orange Nations has shown consistency by taking the Biggest Gainer title for the second day in a row, while no less than six of the sanctioned alliances have posted gains between 0.13 and 0.15; perhaps the big guys have been trading a few members over the past 24 hours to make my life a bit more interesting? (Note that Sparta can't really afford to do this tomorrow, as they could easily end up with Ragnarok right on their tail. Also, Valhallan may also have joined in by accounting for one of their gains; I don't know, though, and I'm just theorizing). Further down, Mushroom Kingdom hits 13 score while passing Invicta, as the North Atlantic Defense Coalition gains one-twentieth of a point, but also gains italics for dropping below 200 members (mind you, they're on 199, so they could easily lose them again tomorrow). Because the race is still far too close to call, today's Shoutout goes to alliances with no gain in general and NATO and LoSS in particular, also hello EDIT: Shoutout #2 goes to Ikaru; I did have fun with this. Also, I needed to fix a botched tag.

I know Polaris and GPA are both growing nicely, but there is a third alliance in that region with enough members, against which both will have to compete...

Quite a good time to do them now, IMHO.

I also prefer it at the earlier time. Normally, it's done at 2-4am where I am, which means two things: 1) I can't see it until the following morning. 2) I can't do any updates without getting up at an inconvenient time. Ideally, I'd like it to be done at 3-5pm server time, or 9-11pm where I live.

Clearly, then, I haven't checked for a while. Either way, though, it's probably sensible. Maybe I should just set my AA to "Add Line", thus reducing it to about 0.08??? Then again, it would make life VERY hard for updaters, so I'd best wait until I get stronger or find some more members.

It'll be especially impressive if we beat them, since when I last checked they had both NPO and NpO applicants on the same AA (since the AAs are case insensitive).

Ah, but that's the beauty of the TOOL curse. As soon as you think you're safe from it, it strikes. Judging from yesterday's update, I think you've already unsettled it . As for our applicant AA, maybe we should aim to put it in the sanction race too!

Actually, I like the earlier updates - normally, they're posted around 3am where I am. Also, I hope Monos Archein can start gaining again soon - this isn't how I had hoped to see them .
