  4. I am a 4700 and I dont completely understand what improvement swapping is. Is there any chance someone can explain it to me, or take a look at my nation and give me some advice? My bills are at 1.8 mil, and I am making 2.75 mil after my bills. Thanks alot. My ruler name is thewho.

  5. A change in the value of tech may have been necessary, but the overall intensity of the change was too much. This change has killed any momentum a smaller nation had at being able to grow. Probably two reasons this decision was made: To stop the tech raiders, and to raise the demand of donations. Maybe cut the value of tech in half, 3/4 of the value dropped is horrid. These post are not necessarily "Whining" posts. These are post with legitimate arguments on an overal negative feeling on the change. So the kids using the, ahhh all the whiners copout didn't read the title of this blog or understand it. Still the biggest problem with the change, that will be evident the more days that go by, is the nation strength rule when it comes to getting battles. I can now get attacked by nations who have over 9,500 infra when I only have 3,400. Sounds like a fair fight to me. Nobody is complaining at the moment about this observation, but wait till your getting crushed on by someone 5 times your size, then get back to me.

  6. For the monsterous nations that are over 5,000 infra, its obviously not as big of a deal to them. They have grown and now they have the option to attack people who are only 2,000 infra. Pretty stunning that someone who can hold 100,000 soldiers can attack someone who maxes out at 10,0000 soldiers. Also they are at the point where they will remain in the top 5 percent for a very long time. They are also collecting millions a day. Starting out as a new nation already takes forever without assistance from friends. Now its just going to be rediculous trying to start from scratch. The gap between the veterans in the noobs has grown substantially with this change. And since the change completely killed the market value of tech, that gap will remain and only continue to grow unless there is a price change to go along with it.

  7. Its a big advantage to people who already own nukes and also the larger nations of the game. I went from top 8 percent to 14th. Now it will take forever to get back near the top 5 percent. Tech has always been a crucial part of the game, regardless of how much it may inflate your nation- it gives a more reasonable chance at growing rapidly. Tech has now significantly dropped in value, where you might be able to sell 50 tech for 1.5 mi, would now only be worth $375,000 on the market. So now the whole chance of growing your nation through tech sale might as well be obsolete. We are now limited to donation sales as one of the only means of making money outside of collecting taxes. This takes away from a huge portion of the game and slows down nation growth in infrastructure and nation strenth. When you slow down a game, it does nothing but restrict nations from using their good economic/sales skills and takes away from the fun of growing at a faster rate then the norm. Dropping the value of tech 3/4 is hideous. Dropping it to a 10 multiplier would still suck, but would be more reasonable to those trying to grow their nation to the top 5 percent. Also my environment took a hit, and thats another factor will affect my chance to grow quickly.

  8. I feel that much of the problem is that the Cartel is pretty dang inactive. I have sent messages warning them on this issue, and none of the messages sent have been recieved or read. The attacks that continue look like nations that arent even in touch with the alliance and are following old plans. Thier forum is dead, and I think the reason the attacks continue is just because of a lack of communication, and not necessarily an issue of disrespect or disregard. If we cannot make contact with these members, I dont know if its correct to assume their reasons for continued attacks. But if you guys have a deadline, then I guess you have your deadline, and then again many of my attempts at finding the truth are assumptions. Your call of course.
