  2. 70.000 tech, assuming that it is bought by nations that have zero tech. will cost 1120ml or 1.12bn in real costs (that's how much GPA will lose).

assuming that 3ml is given to new nations to send out 150 tech (which actually gives a good profit to new nations, since 50 tech costs maximum 0.8 ml and 150 maximum 2.4ml), it will cost the larger GPA nations 1400ml or 1.4bn, or 466.6 (467) donations of 3ml.

of the 600 or so GPA nations (now it looks like it's 355, but there's many POWs), at least a hundred can give 5 donations of 3ml over 90 days, therefore GPA can pay the reps.

the big problem will be the coordination of such a massive # of transactions rather than paying for it.

the biggest hit is not the reps, but these:

    1.

GPA member nations will be barred from the maintenance of any nuclear arsenal indefinitely with the exception of a maximum of 13 total peacetime nukes within the GPA Alliance to be kept on hand for the protection from nuclear rogues

    and

    2.

The GPA will take action to correct widely acknowledged deficiencies and failings in their governmental structure and alliance culture that have compromised their stated principles of neutrality. This includes a restructuring of their charter and similar governing documents, which will be submitted for approval... to be followed for a minimum period of one year thereafter

1.no nukes, at all, forever- this means that they will never be able to defend themselves against any serious threat, and 2.they will be unable to pass amendments and fix internal problems and will be under the political control of tC for a year. these will kill GPA, not the reps

btw, does 2. mean that a "corrected" charter will include a tC viceroy?

  3. Every alliance now is just content to survive, and that's a real bloody shame. They should be attempting to thrive, to scratch and claw their way to the top of the food chain. To forge friendships and sign treaties that will get them there, to be true opposition to those already at the top. That's what makes this game great, or what once did.. the fight for supremacy, both politically and militarily.

except that anybody rising gets smashed from the guys already there, who are afraid that if they let the small guy rise one day he will take them down.

the flag of the cretan republic of 1898-1913, also in my avatar

it reminds you of the old greek flag, which was just a blue rectangle with a white cross, symbolizing the connections with greece and the common national base.

the cross also symbolizes the large christian majority in the region, and the the blue the large greek majority, while the red symbolizes the turkish- muslim minority and the star the new-found freedom of the cretan people.

    yiuropbw5.jpg

this flag, also known as the flag of yiurop, is my !@#$%* flag. it's how the EU flag would look like if the EU was a communist union, and shows the love of europe and the belief in communism of the person who uses it; the hammer and sickle symbolize communism, and so does the red background, while the stars remind you of the stars in the european flag. you have to change the no. of stars every time a new member joins, but still it's a pretty clear flag that passes its message.
