the point is that the surrender terms weren't clear.
at the same time, it's retarded to declare war for something that happened 10 months ago and on which we had no control, so just stop pretending that you have a reason and just say that you don't like GATO because we're not fascists like you.
since you are NPO, i assume that you are too uneducated to know how the definition of fascism is applied outside the italian politics of the 20s, so i'd like to point out the main characteristics of fascism:
-complete obedience to a sole leader (the main criterion to join NPO is to follow its emperor)
-great belief in your superiority (phrases like "pacifica pride" and others are abundant on the forums- everyone knows that if NPO was a country most NPOers would be fanatic nationalists)

NPO was planning offensive attacks on GATO with its buddies for three days now.
and as you can see, not only did we not attack you first, but we also did not activate any MDPs we have.

just a final thing- the sanctions race is open. if NOI or MASH or i don't know which other alliance wanted to fight with their votes for a seat, that would be totaly fine.
also, contacting us and having a dialogue about the senate seats would also be ok.
but 3 alliances, which are altogether much weaker than GATO, dictating to us something that they have not earned and which is against our charter is outrageous.

GATO law of course trumps the UPS treaty. or trumped. UPS was not a federation, it was a treaty. no external treaty may go against each alliance's charter, its constitution.
i never told you to go to the GATO site to get trades. i told you that the Brown Unity Trade forum is not managed. and for that reason it is not working. we direct our nations there, but trade rings don't form because they have to do too much work. if you go to the GATO Brown Trade area, you may get help faster because it IS managed (i manage it) and for that reason if your resources fit in a ring you will be placed there. i think that this is reasonable and makes sense.
by the way, the GATO Brown Trade area has re-started its work only recently after months of inefficiency in the brown unity forums and after 3 significant but unsuccessful attempts to fix it and revitalize it. don't blame GATO for the failure of the brown unity forum. it is not our fault that the nations were inactive- it's the type of the forum that made it a failure.

look above. GATO does not manage the trades of its members in the brown unity forums. if a nation wanted to join your ring, it would. apparently, none did. i also made 5 new rings asking for nations to sign up for them and nobody has as of yet.

all gato trades cancelled? i never heard of such a thing. we treated you with equality, and you replied to us with disrespect. we tried to amend things again, proposed an amendment on the 17th i belive, but again you leave. about MASH, i have the same opinion as i have with BC- you can have fun playing with other kids in the bloc, but you have lost at least my trust.

there is no need for me to be in hippie mode. all GATOans who are in peace mode are so for a valid reason. well if not all at least most of them.
also, flonker, the rest of UPS tried to kick GATO, which is pretty much 50% of brown, out of one of its senator posts. so, BC with 20 brown nations, and MASH with 80, tried to get the 400 brown nation GATO to quit one of its senate seats. how logical! and totaly out of the blue, we had done nothing to warrant such an aggresive action. let's just say that this move did not help us feel the team spirit.

as i said, they have lost honour after running away like that. however, again it was expected. our relations haven't been that good lately.

there are nations that have been inactive for long and that can't be active now due to exams. they are unable to fight and therefore go hippie mode.

kurushio, an alliance that decides to place unreasonable demands on the main partner of its MDP block and then leaves Brown and abandons its allies in unstable times seems to be a dishonest alliance without honour to me.

and it's funny to read these posts saying, if my alliance had trouble with NPO we would just try to negotiate. do you honestly think that this war has anything to do with the said CB? they just hate us because we're not like them.
